Current events in Europe involving the Ukrainian - Russian conflict have put the usual chatter about basketball in a different light. With millions of people in danger in the center of eastern Europe, the effects on the basketball community pale in comparison, but are an informative way to put the greater tragedy in context. Charge and Haner invited guests dialed into the current situation to get an idea of how the current war will affect European basketball over the coming months and likely years. Guest #1 (3/8 taping): Tom Ballato, founder of https://thenextprospect.org/, discusses the short and long term effects of the halt of the Ukrainian Super League as well as the Russian VTB United League's standing during international sanctions. Guest #2 (3/1 taping): Mike Davis, a guard who played with Kharkivski Sokoly of the Ukrainian Superleague as well as TBT's D2 squad, discusses living in the border city of Kharkiv right before the conflict started and what the future for the Ukrainian league might be. Guest #3 (3/3 taping): Marcus Keene, lead guard for Pallacanestro Varese and TBT's Sideline Cancer, discusses his experience playing for Kalev / Cramo last season (20-21) and his thoughts on his old squad being the first team to leave the Russian VTB United League in protest over the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Sometimes it's bigger than basketball, and we hope putting a horrible war in this context helps a few of us wrap our minds around the human dimension. Let's chop it up... #YourTeamsYourTournament --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/zoomthetbt/support

Erinevaid teemasid on taaskord väga palju. Pikemalt arutleme PAF Eesti meistriliiga käekäigu üle, kus tänaseks on jõutud poolfinaalideni. Pakkumisi saab teha kolm nädalat ehk 23. maini.
The gents from Sideline Cancer, newly minted Estonia champion Marcus Keene and do everything Billy Clapper swing by to talk what it's going to take to win one more game in TBT2021 to hoist that trophy and use a winner's share to eradicate cancer. Big shots, what it means to be a champion, and the general usual level of ZtTBT idiocy, we're ready to roll. #WeBelieve #YourTeamsYourTournament --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/zoomthetbt/support
Korvpallitarkade klubi ehk podcast "Pihtas Põhjas" on taaskord kuulderaadiuses ning korvpalli ümber tiirlevaid teemasid arutavad, nagu sel hooajal tavaks Gert Kullamäe, Alar Varrak ja Ivar Jurtšenko. Sel korral tuleb rohkelt juttu BC Kalev/Cramost, kel juba täna seisab Kalevi spordihallis ees lahing Kaasani Unicsiga. Olukord mängijatega - uus tulija Marques Townes, vigastused ja haigused, Marcus Keene`i pikem videolugu Venemaa korvpallimagasiinis "Vid sverhu". Miks Indrek Sunelik ei saa mänguaega ja kas see on meeskonnale halb reklaam? Ja muidugi osutame erilist tähelepanu Kalev/Cramo ja Pärnu Sadama 4. märtsi vastasseisule, mille Cramo võitis lisaajal 76:71. Selles kohtumises tegi Pärnu eest debüüdi Kristjan Kangur. Kullamäe toob saatesse uue rubriigi, kus lahkab Läti ja Leedu meedia kõige huvitavamaid korvpalliteemasid. Lisaks on tal varuks üllatus, mille käib lauda päris saate lõpus. Ausalt öeldes, ei oleks oodanud... (pakkumisi saab teha aadressile: pihtaspohjas@delfi.ee). Loomulikult on juttu ka Euroliigast ja NBA-st. Euroliigas selgus värskelt esimene meeskond, kes kindlustas koha play-off mängudele. NBA-s pakub mitmes vaates jututeemasid Brooklyn Nets ning Atlantas toimunud Tähtede mäng viitas selgelt asjaolule, et korvpallis viiakse õige pea sisse suur muudatus. Mis see võiks olla? Head kuulamist!
