In "This Is My Door," Apostle Jim Raley continues the Aftershocks series with a powerful word from Acts 9:32-43. Acts 2 was the epicenter, and everything that follows is the aftershock still rumbling along the fault lines of Pentecost. This message takes us to two people most preachers treat as separate stories. A paralyzed man named Aeneas in Lydda and a beloved disciple named Dorcas in Joppa. One frozen. One dead. Two cities, two miracles, and one fault line running through both. Through their stories, Apostle Raley reminds us that frozen is not finished, that the same Pentecostal power still breaks every destructive cycle, and that God wants to raise what we have stopped fighting for. Joppa means "the door." The Holy Spirit has been searching you out, and this is your door. Stop washing what God wants to raise, get a "yet" praise in your mouth, and walk through into your new beginning. Acts 9:32-43 | Psalm 42:11 | Ezekiel 37:3 Stay connected at https://calvaryfl.com

What do you do when the pressure is telling you to be quiet? In this episode, Apostle Raley preaches from Acts 2 and Acts 4 and walks through what happened when the same people who were filled at Pentecost got threatened, arrested, and told to stop. They did not run. They ran straight back to the fault line and prayed the most dangerous prayer in the New Testament: shake us again. This word is for anyone feeling pressure to shrink back, anyone hungry for more of God, and anyone who has been mistaking distance from the shaking for spiritual maturity. The epicenter has not moved. The Holy Ghost has not retired. And the fault line is still active. The Industry Relations Podcast is now available on your favorite podcast player! Overview Rob and Greg break down the major industry-shaking news of the week: Real Brokerage acquiring RE/MAX, and what that means for brokerage consolidation, valuation logic, and the future competitive landscape. They then dive into the far bigger strategic battle unfolding between Compass, MLSs like MRED, and portals like Zillow. The discussion centers on private listings, MLS policy fragmentation, and whether the industry is heading toward a full-scale "team vs team" conflict over control of listing data. The episode explores how MLS consolidation, broker strategy, and consumer expectations are colliding—and whether this moment forces the industry into a decisive power struggle. Key Takeaways Real Brokerage acquires RE/MAX A surprising buyer shakes up expectations around consolidation. The valuation gap raises questions about deal structure and long-term strategy. Consolidation is accelerating The deal reinforces a broader trend: bundling, scale, and platform expansion are becoming central to survival. Compass vs Zillow dynamic is escalating The industry is increasingly splitting into competing camps, with MLSs, brokerages, and platforms aligning strategically. MRED move reframes MLS power Opening the door for national listing distribution and cross-MLS participation could shift how MLS boundaries function. Agent behavior is the wild card Whether agents actually join additional MLSs (even if subsidized) will determine how impactful these strategies become. Data control = power The core conflict is about who controls listing visibility—MLSs, brokerages, or portals—and how that affects consumers. Potential "war" scenario If tensions escalate, outcomes could include rule changes, platform retaliation, or a forced industry reset that determines who ultimately sets the rules. Steve Cadigan is a global talent strategist, author of "Workquake: Embracing the Aftershocks of COVID-19 to Create a Better Model of Working," and LinkedIn's founding Chief HR Officer. Steve believes the world of work is going through a "workquake" — a fundamental shift that's breaking the old employer-employee contract. At the core of it is a false premise: the idea of long-term loyalty that neither side can reliably keep. In this conversation, Steve explains why many of the world's most successful companies have surprisingly short employee tenure, why the workforce isn't disloyal but loyal to growth, and why leaders should focus less on retention and more on creating meaningful development while people are with them. For leaders navigating turnover and rapid change, this episode offers a more honest way to think about talent and what it actually takes to build teams that perform. Find episode 506 on The Leadership Podcast, YouTube, or wherever you get your podcasts! Watch this Episode on YouTube | Steve Cadigan on Retention Is Dead: The Workquake Reshaping Talent https://bit.ly/TLP-506 Key Takeaways [03:40] Steve defines a workquake as any shift so fundamental it renders the existing architecture of work obsolete. [04:46] Steve argues that most employer-employee relationships begin on a false premise — and that dishonesty is where the breakdown starts. [06:42] Steve reframes retention: instead of demanding loyalty, commit to making the employee's time with you the most growth-oriented chapter of their career. [09:12] Steve uses Chick-fil-A as a model for honest talent strategy — celebrating alumni, not just retaining them. [17:42] Steve explains how LinkedIn turned its recruiting struggle into a competitive advantage by aligning the employee experience with the product promise. [26:26] Steve warns that over-indexing on experience and ignoring transferable talent is one of the most costly mistakes leaders make today. [30:36] Steve makes the case that learning must be designed into work itself — not treated as a perk or a line item that gets cut first. [33:53] Steve challenges leaders to ask honestly which companies today are actually building for 100 years — and why so few are. [38:14] Steve argues that AI is being misused as a cost-cutting tool when its real power is making people more capable, not replacing them. [41:13] Steve leaves leaders with one directive: stop waiting for a benchmark that doesn't exist — and be willing to become one. [42:58] And remember..."Nonetheless, the only place success comes before work is in the dictionary." - Vince Lombardi. Quotable Quotes "If you want people here because they want to be here, you're running a company. If you don't, you're running a prison." "The workforce is incredibly loyal — just not to you. They're loyal to growth." "If your talent strategy is not changing as fast as the outside world, your employee relationship is near its end." "If the outside world is changing faster than the inside, the end is near." "You can't have a job today that takes someone five years to figure out." "We have so over-indexed on experience and so overlooked talent." "There is no benchmarking for this moment — you're going to have to be the benchmark." "People want to be on teams that are going somewhere." Mary welcomes back author and prophecy expert Britt Gillette to help us count the cost of the Mideast war. There is no getting around the fact that any war has economic shockwaves, but in the oil slick of the world there is always potential for extended aftershocks. As if we need more hotspots, we talk about the “wider war”, and what that means. First, we define the nature of the war, because once it gets going, we tend to forget how we got here. From there we take an off-ramp and talk about oil and the Persian Gulf, along with the Strait of Hormuz. What happens when energy costs skyrocket? Everything falls in domino style, trickling down to our grocery prices and how much truckers have to pay for their trucking to our doors. What is Kharg Island? What does the Revolutionary Guard have to do with that? Will Israel invade Lebanon? Will Israel sacrifice a lamb on the Temple Mount on Passover? We have to add all that into the mix because nothing is a given when it comes to the Middle East. Check out host Bidemi Ologunde's new show: The Work Ethic Podcast, available on Spotify and Apple Podcasts.Email: bidemiologunde@gmail.comIn this episode, host Bidemi Ologunde takes listeners inside a rare moment when Beijing's usually sealed-off security apparatus is leaking signals to the outside world: a run of espionage-linked detentions and purges touching the PLA command pipeline, and even the state-finance sphere, including the reported downfall of Bank of China executive Lin Jingzhen. What does it mean when China's leadership allows public visibility into cases that would normally be buried? Are these arrests a sign of genuine counterintelligence panic, a political loyalty sweep, or both at once? And if some of the targets include high-ranking officers with real warfighting experience, how does that reshape risk calculations around Taiwan: deterrence, timing, and the chance of miscalculation? Bidemi also maps the second-order ripple effects: crisis communications with the U.S., signals to allies and rivals, procurement and readiness shocks, and the way "anti-espionage" politics can tighten across finance, tech, and society. On the Bid Picture Podcast, I talk about big ideas, and Lembrih is one of them. The primary focus of today's discourse revolves around the significant meteorological phenomena currently impacting the Pacific Northwest and broader regions, particularly the atmospheric river event poised to unleash excessive rainfall and potential flooding through the evening. I shall elucidate the ongoing weather developments, including the implications of a powerful Pacific storm that is intensifying conditions across western Washington and Oregon. Furthermore, we will convey pertinent information regarding the hazardous winter weather conditions anticipated in Wyoming, Idaho, and parts of Montana, characterized by substantial snowfall and challenging travel conditions. In addition, I will provide updates on the recent magnitude 7.0 earthquake near the Alaska Yukon border, which has generated a sequence of aftershocks, albeit without any reported major damage. As we proceed, I will also address the anticipated geomagnetic storm, which may yield auroral displays further south and could impart minor impacts on power communications.Takeaways:* The Pacific storm currently affecting the Northwest is causing significant rainfall and flood risks. * Western Washington and Oregon are expected to experience hazardous conditions due to heavy rain and river rises. * Wyoming, Idaho, and parts of Montana are facing challenging travel conditions due to winter weather impacts. * The magnitude 7.0 earthquake near the Alaska Yukon border has resulted in ongoing aftershocks but no major damage. * The National Weather Service has issued winter storm warnings and advisories for multiple states due to impending severe weather. * NOAA has issued a geomagnetic storm watch that may result in auroras and minor power impacts in the coming days. The couple hints at another Australia trip and donates to the Masaka Kids ahead of their Netflix doc. While the longest government shutdown in U.S. history may be over, the commercial real estate industry will be feeling its impact for some time. From HUD halting originations and approvals to hotel demand drying up and data going away, the pain has been widespread. And it will continue to impact underwriting and kill deals, especially in the multifamily realm, Origin Investments co-CEO Michael Episcope said.Roughly 2,000 multifamily starts were delayed as HUD went dark, he said. That doesn't get resolved immediately and will impact rent growth.“You have to assume that there's going to be lower demand as a result of this government shutdown,” Episcope said on this week's show.
Join the Putas in their season tradition of recapping and sharing some behind the scenes highs and lows. SZN 666 was so chaotic that this aftershocks, is being called "The Digital Get Down". Thats right a season soooo horrible in the making that it deserved it be named after a NSYNC song. #BSB4LIFE Enjoy!
It's Casual Friday on the Majority Report On today's program: On Wednesday, Donald Trump urged Republicans to focus their messaging on affordability, only to say on Thursday that he "doesn't want to hear any more about affordability." He also claimed Thanksgiving costs are down 25% from last year, citing a Walmart Thanksgiving package. In reality, that package is 25% cheaper because it includes 10 fewer items, with most of the remaining products swapped for Walmart's in-house brand. Co-founder and reporter at Drop Site News, Ryan Grim joins the program to wrap up the week's news. This weekend captured the full scope of what wrestling looks like in 2025. WWE delivered layered storytelling and big moments in Perth, TNA tapped into its history and emotion in Lowell, and AEW kept its focus sharp heading into WrestleDream. Each promotion showed what makes it stand out in today's landscape. At Crown Jewel, Seth Rollins outlasted Cody Rhodes in a physical, methodical main event to win the Men's Crown Jewel Championship. The finish saw Rollins use the wristwatch Cody once gave him as a weapon before landing two Curb Stomps to close the show. Just 48 hours later on Raw, everything unraveled. The Vision turned on its leader — Bron Breakker dropped Rollins with a spear, Bronson Reed followed with a Tsunami, and Paul Heyman silently joined their side as Breakker raised the World Heavyweight Title. Rollins' declaration that he didn't need anyone came full circle in a single segment. Bronson Reed's weekend was career-defining. He pinned Roman Reigns in an Australian Street Fight after Jey Uso accidentally speared his cousin through a table. Afterward, Reigns told The Usos he loved them but didn't want to see them until Christmas — a rare glimpse of distance inside The Bloodline. Stephanie Vaquer's victory over Tiffany Stratton gave credibility to WWE's new women's title, Rhea Ripley's homecoming drew an emotional response, and John Cena's match with AJ Styles served as a fitting farewell to his international career. In Lowell, TNA's Bound for Glory focused on closure and renewal. Mike Santana defeated Trick Williams to capture the TNA World Championship in an emotional moment that felt earned. The Hardys and Team 3D shared the ring for what appeared to be their final meeting, giving the crowd one last look at a legendary rivalry. Leon Slater and Je'Von Evans delivered a standout X-Division match that showcased the next generation, even with interference affecting the outcome. AEW stayed consistent in its build to WrestleDream. The St. Louis card is locked in: Hangman Page vs. Samoa Joe for the world title, Jon Moxley vs. Darby Allin in an I Quit Match, Toni Storm vs. Kris Statlander for the women's championship, and Okada teaming with Konosuke Takeshita for tag gold. During an interview with Ariel Helwani, Allin said the locker room feels “as strong as it's ever been,” crediting a more focused and cooperative atmosphere behind the scenes. Meanwhile in Japan, Konosuke Takeshita defeated Zack Sabre Jr. to win the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship at King of Pro-Wrestling. The 31-minute match saw Sabre attack Takeshita's neck before the new champion rallied with back-to-back Powerdrive Knees to close out Sabre's 106-day reign. Takeshita becomes the first AEW-contracted wrestler to hold New Japan's top title and will bring the championship into WrestleDream alongside Okada. The weekend showed just how global and interconnected wrestling has become. WWE continues refining its presentation, TNA is rebuilding through passion and legacy, AEW is focused on consistency and collaboration, and NJPW's partnership moments keep expanding what's possible in the modern era.

John welcomes New York Times scribe Robert Draper and Atlantic staff writer and podcast host David Frum to discuss the political reverberations from the fatal shooting of right-wing activist Charlie Kirk. Draper joins the show from Kirk's home base in Arizona, and assesses the impact of the shooting on those who revered him in the MAGA movement and the future of the organization he founded, Turning Point USA. Meanwhile, Frum takes stock of how the Trump administration is moving aggressively to advance its broader agenda in the wake of Kirk's assassination, and of FBI Director Kash Patel's contentious back-to-back appearances before oversight committees in the Senate and House this week. What if the future of work isn't just about where we work, but how we think about work itself? In this episode, Kevin is joined by Steve Cadigan to explore the shifts reshaping our workplaces, what Steve calls a “work quake.” Steve shares insights on how leaders and employees can adapt to a rapidly changing world of work. They discuss why lifelong learning and "learning agility" are no longer optional, and how our ability to learn quickly is becoming more valuable than what we already know. Steve also challenges leaders to rethink traditional talent strategies, including embracing higher turnover, building organizational capacity more rapidly, and treating employees as part of a lifelong talent ecosystem. We're still sifting through the facts and figuring out the results of the 12-day Israel-Iran war. But after every earthquake, there are aftershocks. Today, we’ll look at how this war has far-reaching effects on countries such as Russia, China, Turkey and Saudi Arabia. We begin the program by looking at China, which is hosting a gathering of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), a China- and Russia-led regional security grouping. In attendance is Iran’s defense minister, Aziz Nasirzadeh. The conference is an attempt to build alternative international blocs to those backed by the United States, according to reporting on CNN. So, how does China fit in with the 12-day war? Our next stop is Russia. The world learned again that Russian military tech is no match for a first-class air force like the IDF after it failed to repel the Israeli attacks on Iranian nuclear sites. Berman weighs in on Russia's nuanced approach to the Israel-Iran war and its cautious moves to not upset the Trump administration. Reports of Iranians fleeing to bordering Turkey during the conflict were unsurprising, said Berman, since the NATO nation is a gateway to Europe. We hear how Turkey responded to the war. Looking towards Saudi Arabia, US special envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff reiterated Wednesday his belief that additional countries will join the Abraham Accords, which normalized ties between Israel and several Muslim nations. We learn what would have to happen for this to occur and how there may be a softening on Israel's part following the recent conflict with Iran. Friday Focus can be found on all podcast platforms.
