Mission Sunday 2023 with speaker Mark Lowenstein.
Today's episode of Kingdom Culture Conversations may very well be unlike any other podcast episode that you have ever heard. Why? Because one of our two guests cannot hear. When he was just two-years-old, Mark Lowenstein lost his hearing in a bout with spinal meningitis. As a result, he grew up a stranger in a hearing world. But, as the product of a deaf pastor that worked to engage him, Mark found the Lord and eventually, courageously came to realize that God was calling him to lead Pioneer Bible Translator's momentous effort to translate the entire Bible for the world's largest unreached people group: the 70 million deaf people around the world. Tragically, of this huge number, only 20% can read and write and only 2% have ever even "heard" the Good News of Jesus. We are also joined by Frank Kollman, also of Pioneer Bible Translators, who is a champion of deaf ministry and Christian education. Frank works to translate today's compelling conversation with Mark.To learn more about Pioneer Bible Translators, please click here."Kingdom Culture Conversations" is a podcast created through Frameworks, a Biblical worldview initiative of Northwest Christian School. For more information on Frameworks, please visit: https://frameworks.ncsaz.org/For more information on Northwest Christian School, visit: https://www.ncsaz.org/To reach out to Geoff Brown, please email gbrown@ncsaz.org or you can reach him by cell phone: (623)225-5573.
