Mal was Anderes: Ist ein “Zeitvertreib” eigentlich was Gutes oder was Schlechtes? Ich frag auch für sie liebe Baywatch Berlin Zuhörerinnen, denn wenn Jakob, Thomas und Klaas eines können, dann: Machen, dass die Zeit runtertickt und man nach so einer ganzen Podcastfolge feststellen muss: na gut, die Stunde ist jetzt futsch, die gibt einem auch keiner wieder. Vertreiben ist aber eventuell noch nicht mal der richtige Ausdruck- regelrecht verscheucht, wird sie, die Zeit, wenn man diesen drei Herren widmet. Wer allerdings nach Anhören der aktuellen immer noch einen Haufen ungenutzer zum Teufel jagen will, findet weitere inspirierende Vorschläge, allesamt vom jeweils vortragenden gestestet. Haben sie nicht vielleicht mal mit Thomas zu Limb Bizkitczu gehen um zu schauen ob Wall of Death noch immer so witzig ist, wenn hier der Name altersbedingt zum Programm wird? Oder doch lieber wie Klaas zum Tennis, wo sich Andrea Petkovic als Director of Excitement persönlich um gute Erlebnisse kümmert, wenn man irgendwo zwischen nem Spargelhäppchen und Michael Stick anstarren kurz mal in der Royal Box weggedöst ist? Alles Nix für sie? Obacht: Wer bis dahin nix hat muss mit Lundt zu Magenta, und wer denkt dass man sich da so einfach aus der Affäre stehlen kann, weiss wohl nicht das sich selbst ein Lionel Messi nach nem Spiel bei Kerner persönlich abmelden muss, weil er sonst nicht ins Hotel darf. Full Text of Readings Third Sunday of Easter Lectionary: 46 The Saint of the day is Saint Gianna Beretta Molla Saint Gianna Beretta Molla's Story In less than 40 years, Gianna Beretta Molla became a pediatric physician, a wife, a mother and a saint! She was born in Magenta near Milano, the tenth of Alberto and Maria Beretta's 13 children. An active member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society and a leader in the Catholic Action movement, Saint Gianna Beretta Molla also enjoyed skiing and mountain climbing. She earned degrees in medicine and surgery from the University of Pavia, eventually specializing in pediatrics. In 1952, Gianna opened a clinic in the small town of Mesero, where she met engineer Pietro Molla. Shortly before their 1955 marriage, Gianna wrote to Pietro: “Love is the most beautiful sentiment that the Lord has put into the soul of men and women.” In the next four years the Mollas had three children: Pierluigi, Mariolina, and Laura. Two pregnancies following ended in miscarriage. Early in her final pregnancy, doctors discovered that Gianna had both a child and a tumor in her uterus. She allowed the surgeons to remove the tumor but not to perform the complete hysterectomy that they recommended, which would have killed the child. Seven months later in April 1962, Gianna Emanuela Molla was born at the hospital in Monza, but post-operative complications resulted in an infection for her mother. The following week Gianna Molla died at home, and was buried in the cemetery of Mesero. Gianna Emanuela went on to become a physician herself. Saint Gianna Beretta Molla was beatified in 1994 and canonized 10 years later. Her liturgical feast is celebrated on April 28. Reflection With great faith and courage, Saint Gianna Beretta Molla made the choice that enabled her daughter to be born.
