There is no time this season where one can sit back, watch games, and not see upsets and surprising losses. It's become somewhat routine to be surprised. On Monday's edition of Hoopsville, we chat with several programs who are at or near the top of their conferences. Will that still be the case in a week or two? All four coaches talk about the challenges that lay ahead. Plus we go in-depth in men's hoops with our Men's Top 25 pundits. Hear their choices for "Debatable," "Dubious," and "Deep Dive" teams. And we look at the news and notes from around Division III where every night seems to have a headline-worthy result. Guests appearing on the Hudl Hoopsville Hotline (subject to change): - Kalin Wynn, Notre Dame (Md.) women's coach - Megan Phelps, No. 15 Bowdoin women's coach - Russell White, No. 16 Cal Lutheran men's coach - Raul Placeres, Maryville (Tenn.) men's coach - Top 25 Double-Take: Bob Quillman and Ryan Scott Hoopsville is presented by D3hoops.com.

Her journey out of the cult offers hope for others who have faced a similar situation, and with her platform, she has the potential to shed light on the inner workings of the cult and ultimately bring about positive change. However, the decision to speak out is not an easy one, as it would require Jill to confront painful memories and endure potential backlash. In this podcast, we will explore the controversies surrounding the Duggar family, the potential media projects they may be involved in, and the impact of Jill using her experience for the greater good. Let's delve into the complexities of Jill Duggar's story and the potential power of her voice.Jill Duggar, a former member of the Duggar family, has the potential to become a voice of reason and bring awareness to the cult she escaped from. Jenny was happy to welcome Sarah Tittle in person to chat books we have read and liked recently. Sarah's past in publishing, her own writing, and her book club experiences all come together to form the reader she is today. Shawn, Adam and Matt attended a book release event hosted by Washburn University featuring Author Megan Phelps on her book "Unfollow: A Memoir of Loving and Leaving the Westboro Baptist Church" Book Description: The activist and TED speaker Megan Phelps-Roper reveals her life growing up in the most hated family in America At the age of five, Megan Phelps-Roper began protesting homosexuality and other alleged vices alongside fellow members of the Westboro Baptist Church in Topeka, Kansas. Founded by her grandfather and consisting almost entirely of her extended family, the tiny group would gain worldwide notoriety for its pickets at military funerals and celebrations of death and tragedy. As Phelps-Roper grew up, she saw that church members were close companions and accomplished debaters, applying the logic of predestination and the language of the King James Bible to everyday life with aplomb - which, as the church's Twitter spokeswoman, she learned to do with great skill. Soon, however, dialogue on Twitter caused her to begin doubting the church's leaders and message: If humans were sinful and fallible, how could the church itself be so confident about its beliefs? As she digitally jousted with critics, she started to wonder if sometimes they had a point - and then she began exchanging messages with a man who would help change her life. A gripping memoir of escaping extremism and falling in love, Unfollow relates Phelps-Roper's moral awakening, her departure from the church, and how she exchanged the absolutes she grew up with for new forms of warmth and community. Rich with suspense and thoughtful reflection, Phelps-Roper's life story exposes the dangers of black-and-white thinking and the need for true humility in a time of angry polarization. Special Guests: Adam R. and Matt Quick.
The Amazon Books editors look at some of their favorite books from October 2019, and Megan Phelps-Roper joins us for a discussion about her powerful new book.

Megan Phelps approaches gardening with curiosity and a guilelessness that makes her experiences and experiments utterly fascinating and even shocking. Defying tradition, Megan (who often uses the image of a single dandelion as her profile picture on social media) grows plants that mainstream gardeners have long ago turned their backs on - burdock, dandelion, and amaranth, to name a few. Megan blogs at Seeds, Mulch and Weeds where she shares her tales and photos of her Northeast Kansas garden. Author information Jennifer Ebeling Producer & Host at Still Growing...
