In this Substack Live interview, Kerry Lutz sits down with Dennis Kneale to discuss his new book, Oregoners: How One State Chased Away Business and People. Kneale argues that Oregon serves as a warning for the rest of the country, detailing how decades of government policies contributed to business flight, job losses, rising crime, homelessness, and economic decline. The conversation explores the impact of environmental regulations on Oregon's once-thriving logging industry, Portland's struggles with vacancies and public safety, and the broader consequences of political decision-making. Lutz and Kneale also examine underreported developments involving the Panama Canal, Venezuela, fentanyl enforcement efforts, and the ongoing debate over climate policies and carbon emissions. Their discussion offers a candid look at government policy, economic growth, and the challenges facing states across America. Kerry Lutz sits down with Jeff Dornik, founder and CEO of Pickax and host of The Jeff Dornik Show, to examine the rapid rise of artificial intelligence and its impact on society, work, and personal freedom. Jeff shares concerns echoed by leading tech figures about large-scale workforce displacement and the growing possibility that human labor could become increasingly obsolete. The discussion explores what happens when traditional work and purpose begin to disappear, and how that shift could contribute to a broader social and psychological crisis. Kerry and Jeff also dig into the political and civil liberties implications of advanced AI systems, including the risks of centralized data control, government overreach, and expanding surveillance capabilities. Drawing comparisons to past expansions of federal power, they emphasize the urgent need for safeguards to protect free speech, privacy, and intellectual property as AI becomes more deeply embedded in society. Literaturhinweise: Annette Dittert: Dear Britain. Bonta explains how AI is already transforming industries ranging from law and government to medicine and scientific research, while also creating new challenges involving fraud, surveillance, and regulation. They also explore the infrastructure demands of AI, including the growing need for energy, water, and advanced computing power. EP# 333 - What Communion Really Means | The Lost Revelation of the Early Church - Audio

Catherine Toon

What if communion was never meant to be a lifeless ritual, but a living encounter with the Person of Love Himself? In this episode, Dr. Catherine Toon invites you back into the early church’s lost revelation of communion as intimacy, union, and shared life with Christ and one another. As Catherine shares vulnerably from her own journey out of religious burnout, she unpacks how religion has toxified powerful spiritual practices, like communion, and how Jesus gently restores them as gifts to nourish your body, soul, and spirit. You’ll discover that communion is not about performing for God or “qualifying” yourself, but about receiving the finished work of Christ and remembering that you are already included in the circle of Love. In this episode, you’ll learn: - How the early church practiced communion as a joyful “love feast,” not a cold, symbolic exercise - Why communion is meant to be a living encounter with Christ’s presence, not a fear-based check-box - How to move from complacency and religious trauma into real intimacy and union with God - Why communion proclaims Jesus’ finished work over your shame, unworthiness, and exhaustion - How to begin reclaiming communion in your everyday life—slow, tender, and deeply personal with Jesus Whether you’ve been hurt by religion, feel disconnected from church, or simply hunger for a deeper experience of God’s love, this conversation will help you rediscover communion as a doorway into the heart of the Trinity. You’re not on the outside trying to get in—you’re already welcomed to the table. The episode also covers urban challenges and revitalization efforts in major U.S. cities, including issues around governance, homelessness, and infrastructure renewal in places like Los Angeles and Washington, D.C. Finally, they address concerns over federal spending inefficiencies and the potential scale of waste reduction if accountability measures were meaningfully enforced. A wide-ranging conversation on geopolitics, investment flows, infrastructure growth, and America's economic trajectory as it approaches its 250th anniversary. Kerry Lutz and Susan Porsky of Phoenix Capital Group break down what the latest employment data is really telling us about the economy, the markets, and retirement planning. While job numbers came in slightly better than expected, Susan explains that both hiring and firing have slowed dramatically, creating a labor market that appears stable on the surface but may be signaling deeper changes underneath. The discussion then turns to retirement planning and the growing importance of protecting against sequence-of-returns risk. With higher yields now available for the first time in years, investors and retirees may need to rethink old strategies and consider a more conservative approach to preserving wealth while still participating in market gains. Susan also shares her thoughts on opportunities beyond the headline AI stocks. Rather than chasing the biggest names, she points to the infrastructure powering the AI boom, including data centers, utilities, energy providers, and related ETFs. The conversation also covers SpaceX, IPO hype, and alternative ways to gain exposure without taking unnecessary risks. A timely discussion on retirement security, changing market conditions, and where smart investors may be looking next. In this episode of the Financial Survival Network, host Kerry Lutz sits down with long-time market analyst Jerry Robinson from followthemoney.com to break down the highly unconventional state of the 2026 global economy. Despite rising inflation indicators, a looming shift in Federal Reserve leadership, and escalating geopolitical tensions, the stock market continues to hit all-time highs. Robinson shares exclusive charts to reveal how strong underlying earnings in big tech are propping up the market, creating a massive divergence from what traditional economic models would predict. The duo unpacks the critical tension between rising treasury yields and Wall Street's inflation anxieties, while exploring how commodities like gold, silver, and oil are navigating these turbulent cycles. The conversation then shifts to the powerful, disruptive wave of artificial intelligence and its physical manifestation through the massive boom in data centers. Lutz and Robinson discuss the immense resource strain these data centers place on power grid infrastructure, emphasizing that the U.S. must adopt an "all-of-the-above" energy strategy to stay competitive in the global AI arms race against China. From Tesla's full self-driving capabilities to the transformation of the corporate workforce and the elimination of workplace drudgery, they view AI not as a threat, but as an unprecedented tool for human productivity. Tonight at Congregation TBDJ in Montreal, Rabbi Zolly Claman invited Rabbi Yisroel Bernath to share a unique talk as part of his series on the Characters from the Torah. Rabbi Bernath explored the life of King David through the lens of The Forgiveness Experiment, asking what it really means to forgive without becoming naïve, passive, or unsafe. Moving from Cain and Abel, Isaac and Ishmael, Jacob and Esau, and Joseph and his brothers, the class showed how Tanach slowly develops a deeper language of forgiveness, from failed repair, to fragile reconciliation, to Joseph's powerful refusal to let his brothers define his life story. The heart of the class focused on David HaMelech: David sparing Shaul, absorbing Shimei's public curses, grieving Avshalom, and ultimately becoming not only the one who forgives, but the one who must ask for forgiveness. Through David, we saw that forgiveness is not weakness. It is spiritual strength. It is the courage to release resentment without erasing truth, to hold boundaries without becoming bitter, and to stop giving someone else the pen to your story.Key Takeaways-Forgiveness is not pretending the wound never happened; it is deciding that the wound will not become the author of your life.-Joseph teaches us that people may intend harm, but they do not get to define the meaning of our story.-David teaches us that true greatness is measured not only by how we act on the throne, but how we respond when we are humiliated, attacked, and vulnerable.-Forgiveness and boundaries can coexist. David spares Shaul, but he does not move back into the palace.-Shimei represents the person who attacks when we are already bleeding — and David's response teaches us the discipline of not letting resentment turn us into someone we do not want to become.-Divine forgiveness does not erase consequences. David's teshuvah after Bat Sheva is real, but the story still carries responsibility and repair.-The House of David is not built by perfect people. It is built by people who fall, return, forgive, ask forgiveness, and keep choosing life.Rabbi Bernath's New Book: The Forgiveness Experiment is Now #1 Best Seller on Amazon!

When the Bethel church crisis hit the headlines, many believers were left asking, “Can I trust church leaders at all anymore?” If you feel shaken by scandals in places you once loved, this conversation is for you. In this episode of Perspectives with Catherine Toon, Catherine sits down with long-time friend and minister Bill Vanderbush to explore a grace-filled response to the Bethel church crisis and the wider wave of Christian exposure culture online. Together they unpack what happens when church leaders fail, how pruning and discipline can still be love, and how to walk in discernment without losing tenderness or hope. What you’ll learn: - How to keep your faith anchored in Jesus when leaders you admire fall. - The difference between healthy honor and destructive idolatry in Christian culture. - Why “exposure channels” can’t heal victims and what real restoration requires. - Practical ways to confront abuse and deception without becoming bitter or cynical. Catherine and Bill also talk candidly about victims and victimizers, the misuse of “culture of honor,” the branding of Bethel, and how to navigate public repentance, justice, and mercy in a social media age. If you’re tired of fear-based takes yet still hungry for truth and accountability, this conversation will help you process the noise and locate the heart of Jesus again. 260: From Felon to Bestseller | Lara Love Hardin on Why What We Hide Connects Us

Lara Love Hardin is a New York Times bestselling author, literary agent, and founder of True Literary, known for her memoir The Many Lives of Mama Love. Her story details her journey from suburban soccer mom to opioid addicted felon, eventually becoming a successful, award-winning ghostwriter with four New York Times Bestsellers, including The Sun Does Shine. In this episode we discuss the following: Lara spent years trying to outrun her past—building a résumé of goodness, hiding the worst parts of her story, convinced that if people really knew her, they'd walk away. And then she did the one thing she feared most: she told the truth. And everything flipped. Instead of rejection, she got connection. Instead of judgment, she got empathy. Instead of isolation, she found community. The very things we hide to protect ourselves are often the things that would most connect us to others. Lara's story teaches us about struggle. At the time, her lowest moments felt like the end. In retrospect, they became the new foundation—making her a better mother, writer, and human being. When you're managing shame or fear, your cognitive bandwidth is consumed—no room for imagination, long-term goals, or “delusional ambition.” Her inbox of “thousands of secrets” suggests a massive hidden distribution of private struggle across seemingly functional people. First-person, present-tense narrative collapses psychological distance—you simulate the decisions, not just observe outcomes. When we're in a hard season, sometimes all we can do is look forward to looking back.

Kerry Lutz and Gregory Mannarino discuss why they believe the financial, political, and media systems are rapidly breaking down — and what individuals can still do to protect themselves before the next major crisis hits. From currency debasement and market manipulation to AI surveillance, stablecoins, and centralized control, they warn that the system is becoming increasingly rigged against the average person. The conversation covers perpetual war, Federal Reserve policy, asset inflation, and the growing transfer of wealth away from the middle class. Greg and Kerry explain why higher interest rates, hard assets, financial independence, and emotional discipline may become critical in the years ahead. Kerry also details ongoing legal and regulatory efforts, including federal lawsuits, petitions with Florida regulators, and a Public Service Commission hearing focused on forcing utility companies to provide access to real customer service representatives instead of endless automation. They also discuss media manipulation, censorship, independent media platforms like Substack, and why grassroots action and personal responsibility may be the only path left to restoring economic freedom. Are you tired of leading from empty? What if burnout isn't a willpower problem? What if it's an alignment problem? In this episode, Dr. Catherine Toon sits down with author and identity coach Raquel Orona to unpack why so many Christians, especially leaders, stay stuck in performance, striving, and exhaustion even when they know the truth of who they are in Christ. Raquel's new book Seated Not Striving is a deep, practical invitation back to the only place where lasting transformation happens: your co-seated identity in Christ. What you'll learn: - Why identity misalignment is the hidden root of ministry burnout - How agreement, what you believe and say about yourself, shapes everything - The difference between inner healing and inner alignment - Why the finished work of Jesus means rest is your starting point, not your reward - How to realign quickly when you feel yourself drifting into striving or performance Need a fresh encounter with God? Have you ever looked back at a relationship and thought: I don't even recognize who I became? You screamed. You snapped. You said things you never thought you were capable of saying. You lost yourself in ways that scared you. And somewhere along the way, you started to believe — maybe I'm the problem. That experience has a name. It's called reactive abuse. And it's one of the most psychologically disorienting dynamics in toxic relationships — and one of the most misunderstood. In this solo episode, Brianne breaks down exactly what reactive abuse is, how it quietly develops over months or years, and why so many deeply self-aware, empathic people end up carrying blame for a dynamic they didn't create alone. In this episode:What reactive abuse actually is — and the critical difference between a reaction and a pattern of abuseHow it develops (it rarely starts with a scream — it starts with tiny dismissals, silent treatment, and confusion)The role of trauma bonding and nervous system dysregulationWhy empathic people are especially vulnerable to this cycle10 specific signs you're currently inside a reactive abuse dynamic6 concrete steps for getting outWhat healing looks like on the other side — including why healthy love can feel unfamiliar, even flat, at firstThis episode isn't about excusing harmful reactions. It's about understanding the full picture — so you can stop carrying blame that was never entirely yours, and begin returning to the person you were before survival took over.If you've ever said "I became someone I hate" — this one's for you._____If you or anyone you know is struggling with addiction, depression, trauma, sexual abuse or feeling overwhelmed, we've compiled a list of resources at secretlifepodcast.com______ Have a topic you want to discuss on the show, email us at secretlifepodcast@icloud.com

In this high-intensity episode, Kerry Lutz and John Rubino dive into the "world gone insane." From the shifting geopolitical sands in Iran and Cuba to the death of judicial deference in Florida, we explore how the "average citizen" is finally gaining the tools to fight back against a predatory bureaucracy. We break down the mathematical inevitability of triple-digit silver, the impact of the 2026 "Panic Cycle," and why the government's reliance on "digital shakedowns" (like app-based parking) is about to hit a massive legal wall. Key Discussion Points: Geopolitics & The Election: Why the 2026 midterms are forcing the administration's hand in Iran and Cuba. The Administrative "Shot Clock": How Florida's Chapter 120 is being used to corner state agencies. The End of Deference: Why judges are no longer allowed to "grade the agency's own homework." Commodity Super-Cycle: Why silver at $100/oz is a realistic milestone in the face of currency debasement. The "Privateer" Problem: Exposing the revenue-share models that turn municipal parking into digital bounty hunting.
