Embark on a chilling exploration into the haunting landscapes, where beauty intertwines with a history of darkness. We take you from the haunting beauty of the region's deep forests to the bustling excitement of the Washington State Fair. We'll contemplate the profound impact art and memorials have in preserving our collective memory in relation to the Tsutakawa Memorial Gates. As we navigate these heavier topics, we're not forgetting to sprinkle in the lighter side of life with a few laughs and the promise of more spine-tingling content to come.As night falls on Washington State in the Puyallup valley, we share the chilling, unsolved mystery of Misty Copsey's disappearance, a stark reminder of the shadows that lurk in our own backyards. Of course, we'll finish the episode off as always with a promise of more creepy-ass content in the next episode. So, light a candle or pour yourself some wine, grab your headphones, and maybe even a Caitlyn (or two), and let's indulge in the macabre and the mysterious together. - Detetive do Sofá | Instagram | Ajude o detetive do Sofá Pesquisa e roteiro: Marcela Souza Edição: Alexandre Lima

When fair season hits in the small town of Puyallup Washington, it’s a pretty big deal. Kids andfamilies make plans around the days when they can go to what is now known as theWashington State Fair.On a fall night in September 25, 1992 after spending the day at the fair with a good friend, 14year old Misty Copsey disappeared with no trace. Her mom, Diana received a phone call around8:45 PM from Misty letting her know that she had missed the bus home. Diana was at her nightjob as a caregiver and wasn’t able to leave her patient. After a brief conversation, the twoagreed Misty would call a few people she knew to get a ride and Diana stressed for her to callwith an update on the situation. That call never came. What ensues in the days, months and years after her disappearance is what can only belabeled as neglect and indifference on the part of multiple law enforcement agencies, meddlingby a self proclaimed “unlicensed private detective” and the unanswered hopes of a frustratedmother.Over 25 years later, there are no leads, no body and no answers.
