The Inhuman: A True Crime Podcast is an absolute gem in the world of true crime podcasts. I have been a fan and avid listener for a long time now, tuning in every week without fail. This podcast has firmly secured its place in my top three favorite podcasts of all time. One of the standout features of this podcast is how thoroughly the hosts lay out the details of each case. They leave no stone unturned, meticulously researching and presenting information to their listeners. Their dedication to providing accurate and comprehensive accounts of true crime stories is truly commendable.
Furthermore, the voices of the hosts are incredibly soothing to listen to. It's like having two close friends discussing true crime cases right there with you. Their energy together is infectious, and it makes each episode a joy to listen to. As someone who works outside doing heavy labor, these episodes have become indispensable in getting me through my shifts. The engaging storytelling and advocacy for the victims involved make this podcast stand out from others in the genre.
One of the best aspects of The Inhuman is how respectful and considerate it is towards victims. Unlike some other true crime podcasts that laugh or mock true crime stories, this podcast treats each case with utmost respect and empathy. The hosts go above and beyond to ensure that victims are given a voice and that their stories are told sensitively and thoughtfully. This dedication to victim advocacy sets The Inhuman apart from its counterparts.
However, no podcast is without its flaws, and The Inhuman does have a few minor downsides. Some listeners might not enjoy the occasional background noise, such as a baby's presence during an episode. While it adds a personal touch for some, it may be distracting for others who prefer a more polished production quality.
In conclusion, The Inhuman: A True Crime Podcast is truly exceptional in its approach to true crime storytelling. It has earned its reputation as one of the most respectful, thoughtful, and informative podcasts in the genre. The hosts' dedication to spreading awareness, advocating for victims, and delivering captivating episodes is unmatched. If you're a fan of true crime podcasts that prioritize respect and empathy, then The Inhuman is an absolute must-listen.

Amber Tuccaro disappeared in Edmonton, Canada in August 2010. Despite her family being worried, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police were reluctant to call her a missing person. Unfortunately, the investigation was botched from the beginning with several missteps by the RCMP leading to Amber's case going cold. 2 years later, Amber's body was found in Leduc County, and her case became a homicide investigation. An audio recording from a phone call Amber made while she was in the car with the suspect was released, but the man could not be identified. Amber's family is sure that the fact that she was an Indigenous Canadian woman was a part of why the RCMP mishandled the investigation into her case. Amber's case remains unsolved to this day.
