At this Christmas season the congregation of First Baptist enjoyed a mini concert by Harry Hampsher. Interspersed between his selections he shared a report on his ministry in Portugal, shared a personal testimony and related a special remembrance of the years he spent with Dr. McIntyre at Brainerd Baptist Church in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Among the selections Harry sang were "No One Ever Cared for Me Like Jesus," "Jesus is the Sweetest Name I Know," "It Took a Miracle," "He Touched Me," "O Holy Night," "Tell Me the Story of Jesus" and "This Love Is Mine." Before Brother McIntyre shared his Christmas message he shared his remembrances of Harry Hampshere at Brainerd and of a special trip he took to Lisbon to see and hear Harry's ministry.
This revival message from March 1974 by Pastor Ralph McIntyre is preceded by a mini-concert by soloist Harry Hampsher featuring the following classic hymns: *No One Ever Cared for Me Like Jesus *Jesus Is the Sweetest Name I Know *I Know It's Real *It Took a Miracle *He Touched Me *Precious Lord Take My Hand *His Eye Is On the Sparrow *Jesus Took My Burden *Take Your Burden to the Lord and Leave It There *My Heavenly Father Watches Over Me *Ivory Palaces *He Could Have Called 10,000 Angels *The Christ of the Cross *Then Jesus Came *Fill My Cup Lord *Lift Your Cross and Follow Close to Me *It Will Be Worth It All When We See Jesus

The last two months of my life have been full (to say the least). Throughout the "full-ness" there has been one truth I've been learning about Jesus over and over again. A simple and profound truth that has been refreshing and refining. I'm excited to share with you what I'm learning about Jesus throughout the last few months!"No One Ever Cared for Me Like Jesus" Song:https://open.spotify.com/track/2oIFaafMda5ATaMr2b9pK8?si=UuEX8gjhT86KizfiSS2Nwghttps://www.annamcguire.co

Today we will explore how to have a peaceful thought-life, as we continue our week on transcendent peace. The Bible speaks very specifically about our minds, and how important it is to have control over our thoughts. Today we’ll dive a little deeper into those biblical concepts, and I hope we each walk away better equipped to face life’s trials with the transcendent peace of God. Our Scripture for today comes from Romans 8:6, and today's worship is No One Ever Cared for Me Like Jesus by Steffany Gretzinger. _____ First15 is a daily devotional written and recorded by Craig Denison. Bonus song: No One Ever Cared for Me Like Jesus · Sandi Patty I would love to tell you what I think of Jesus,Since I found in Him a friend so strong and true.I would tell you how He changed my life completely; He did something no other friend could do. ChorusNo one ever cared for me like Jesus; There's no other friend so kind as He.No one else could take the sin and darkness from me;O how much He cared for me.All my life was full of sin when Jesus found me;All my heart was full of misery and woe,Jesus placed His strong arms about meAnd He led me in the way I ought to go. ChorusNo one ever cared for me like Jesus; There's no other friend so kind as He.No one else could take the sin and darkness from me;O how much He cared for me. Ev'ry day He comes to me with new assurance;More and more I understand His words of love. But I'll never know just why He came to save me,Till someday I’ll see His blessed face above. ChorusNo one ever cared for me like Jesus; There's no other friend so kind as He.No one else could take the sin and darkness from me;O how much He cared for me.From the album: Hymns of Faith - Songs of Inspiration ℗ 2005 Fair Trade Services, LLC
