Did you know you have the ability to stir and satisfy the heart of God, here and now? God has given us the ability to choose him here on earth, and nothing blesses the heart of God like his beloved people intentionally turning their hearts toward him. As we examine how to live an abundant life here on earth, today we'll search out what it means to choose to worship God in our daily lives.   Our Scripture for today comes from John 4:23, and today's worship is Where You'll Find Me by First15 Worship feat. Our Scripture for today comes from Ephesians 5:14, and today's worship is The Light Came Down by Josh Garrels. --   If you've wrestled with making Bible study a consistent habit of spiritual formation, A Light Unto My Path will inspire and encourage you to drink more deeply from the unending well that is the Bible.  A Light Unto My Path will answer these 7 critical questions:  Why do we read the Bible? How was the Bible created? Why do we need to interpret the Bible? What is the Bible about? What are the best tools for studying the Bible? What can I learn from others? How can I learn for myself?   I love that the goal of this book is not to learn more about the Bible (even though you will), but to better understand the Bible as one of the primary ways God seeks to have a relationship with us today.  Get your copy today  at supportfirst15.org!

As we near the end of our week on forgiveness, today we're going to look at a more foundational aspect of forgiveness, living without expectation of perfection. The goal today isn't to adopt a pessimistic way of looking at the world around us, but to actually see others the way that God does. God isn't surprised by our sin, but looks at us with eyes of hope and love. May we gain his perspective today, and the peace and joy that accompany it, as we spend time in his word and his presence. May you find newfound freedom from the weight of unforgiveness today. Offering forgiveness to others is one of the most difficult and important aspects of the Christian life. But Scripture clearly commands us to forgive others. This week, we're going to look at how God longs to fashion us into his likeness that we might model the love we've been shown to a world with no concept of mercy. May you be filled with courage and boldness this week to offer forgiveness to those in desperate need of grace. And may God's love shine through as you enter into your calling as a minister of reconciliation.
