Who doesn’t love cupcakes? That’s the thought that former NFL stars Michael Griffin and Brian Orakpo had one day as they enjoyed some tasty treats. Griffin and Orakpo both spent part of their professional football careers playing for the Tennessee Titans, which is where the original Gigi’s Cupcakes was located. So when the time came to move on from professional football, the pair was ready to enter the entrepreneurial world. They joined forces with their college friend Bryan Hynson and together, they trio became “The Cupcake Guys."
EXPOSED: WALL STREET SECRETS WARREN BUFFET DOES NOT TELL INVESTORS
Football players make the news for the games they play, the money they make. Some football players keep their money parlaying their salaries in to dough, others parlay it in to cupcake dough, Gigi cupcake dough to be exact, like Tennessee Titans Brian Orakpo and former Tennessee Titans safety Michael Griffin. Football players like Michael Strahan take their talent on to morning TV with Sarah Haines and even suit lines like Michael's line for JC Penney that clothed the legends commercial seen during the Superbowl. Rams, football player Ndamukong Suh took his dough game to the max with Warren Buffett. And then there are the Leonard Davis story that breaks our heart, mine morseso seeing the fibs of FINRA and the SEC hit his case...
