In this episode of the Mob Mentality Show, Chris Lucian is joined by Amy Dredge, Will Munn, and Mike Clement to dive deep into how Open Space Technology (OST) is transforming the way engineering leaders learn, connect, and solve real-world challenges together. Whether you're a Staff+ engineer, an engineering manager, or a tech leader looking for meaningful growth, this episode uncovers how OST creates space for peer-to-peer learning that's spontaneous, high-impact, and deeply human. We explore: The Engineering Leadership Summit — what it is, why it matters, and how it's unlike traditional conferences. How Open Space Technology empowers attendees to shape their own agenda and focus on the most pressing leadership challenges. The shift from passive presentations to active conversations among experienced engineering leaders. Lessons learned from hosting and attending open space events — from hallway chats to high-trust collaboration. How tools like GatherTown help replicate the spontaneity of in-person connection in a remote world. Why this format resonates deeply with Staff+ and senior engineering leaders seeking authenticity, relevance, and practical insight. We also compare remote vs. in-person open space events, dig into accessibility, and share actionable tips for running your own internal or external open space sessions inside engineering orgs.

When Inside Edition reporter, Alison Hall, was assigned to cover Olivia Munn's breast cancer story, she agreed to use the same Breast Cancer Risk Assessment Tool that Munn used – and to do it onscreen. Not only was this part of her research for the story, but it would also help raise awareness. What she did not expect was that her risk score ultimately would lead to her own breast cancer diagnosis at the age of 32. Alison bravely shared the news of her diagnosis on national television and has since been transparent in documenting her thoughts and feelings along the way in hopes to help other women feel less alone. We are so excited to have her here today to share her story with all of you.

The observation that, “justice is merely incidental to law and order” has been on my mind more often than not these past few months. Though possibly apocryphal, the quote is attributed to J. Edgar Hoover and – irony aside – is a solid piece of logic. As you may have guessed from the subject-line, today's episode is not going to be a jovial one. I also think it happens to be one of the most important we've ever recorded. And while the subject of immigration carries the weight of policy and politics, THIS conversation is about the laws that already exist – the same one's all attorneys are sworn to uphold. My guest this week is Astrid Munn, Lead Attorney for the Center of Immigration and Refugee Advancement. Her work centers around providing direct representation to clients who have survived violent crime, domestic violence, and severe forms of trafficking.Astrid and I discuss the consequences of cherry-picking language, the impact of the current legal climate on legal education, and why so often the important work goes unseen. Enjoy the show. __________________________Learn more about the Immigration Law & Justice Network

No wonder they sent her packing!Later in the show, Danielle shares her confusion with Netflix's Everybody's Live, the weekly chat show starring John Mulaney and a rotating cadre of weird guests and bad bits.Brett then dives into the newest Apple TV+ series, Your Friends and Neighbors. The return of Jon Hamm to the small screen has come with a lot of press and early praise, but Brett thinks the show is more dud than stud. Finally, Brett saw 'Sinners' and it gets two strong thumbs up.Follow Hey Julie on Bluesky and submit your questions @HeyJulieBB.bsky.social, our Discord server, or email us heyjuliebigbrother@gmail.com!Watch Hey Julie on YouTubeFollow Brett @BrettRader.bsky.socialFollow Danielle @DingDongDani.bsky.social
Hosted on Acast. Football Portal Starts at 1:00 Find out which MGoPodcaster almost ran over Craig. Michigan picks up UMass wide receiver Anthony Simpson from the portal, hopefully he can be Drew Dileo. They also get Louisiana cornerback Caleb Anderson, he played injured last year so his PFF grades weren't terrific. He's a great tackler. OT Ty Haywood has de-committed from Alabama and was set to visit Michigan over the weekend. Apparently he wanted early play time. Cade McNamara has committed to ETSU. Ohio State and Notre Dame is not a meteor game, the choice here is obvious! 2. Men's Basketball vs Minnesota Starts at 17:47 Lack of toughness was not the issue! Minnesota hit 50% from mid-range which was the difference between OT and a Michigan win, they usually don't make these shots. The Gophers also changed their lineup quite significantly. Nimari Burnett was held in check (and was in foul trouble), Roddy Gayle was having an off game as well. Giving up 71 points in regulation to Minnesota is concerning. Need Will Tschetter to be able to put up 6-8 points per game. 3. Hot Takes and Hockey vs Michigan State Starts at 37:22 Considering Michigan State is currently #1 in the country, getting some points over the weekend is nice. Michigan is giving up a lot of goals in the five-hole. They were was able to hang with #1 MSU but there is a skill gap, Michigan doesn't have a dynamic skater and is playing a lot of freshmen. There were three penalties in Yost on Friday and 21(!) in Munn on Saturday. TJ Hughes has 10 points in six games, How should Michigan approach player development moving forward? Need to win three of the next four. 4. Men's Basketball vs Northwestern Starts at 1:05:35 Attending this game in person was torture because you can't even see what they're reviewing. Can't have your foot too close to the jingle jangles. Goldin is 9 of 16 on threes! He needs to wear a cup or something. Is this Michigan's first game this season where they had fewer turnovers than the opposition? The offense needs to diversify because opposing defenses are collapsing on the center and Wolf has been having issues. Is Tre Donaldson or Roddy Gayle the answer? Gotta respect Chris Collins for having a competitive team every year. Purdue is smaller than we're used to seeing but playing them at Mackey is a tall order. I had Ron Munn on today. Ron's been in the business for 60+ years. He started his first gallery in 1968 and ran a very successful auction for decades. I've known him for over 30 years and he's always been one of the individuals I wanted to have on the podcast, because he has the longevity. He's known all of the players and he's seen the art and the art business over the past 60 years which it gives him a very unique perspective that other people don't have. He's still active too. He'll be showing in Albuquerque in early August 2024 at the 25th Annual Great Southwestern Antique Show. In fact, it's really fun to hear about the early days of this business because it's so much different than it once was.I was on the tail end of it. I started 35 years ago and the unfortunate truth is that most of the big time dealers from back then have all passed on. Luckily for us, Ron is able to pass their wisdom and stories on just like this podcast will pass Ron's and even my own stories on to the next generation. So this is a podcast that offers a unique perspective into the world of Native arts. Native American artwork as seen through the eyes of an early dealer and auctioneer. Ron Munn on episode 306 of the Art Dealer Diaries Podcast.
