Los profesionales médicos se concentran hoy ante las puertas del Ministerio de Sanidad a modo de protesta contra el borrador del estatuto marco propuesto por Sanidad. "Basta con leer la redacción del anteproyecto de estatuto marco para ver que al médico se le maltrató de forma totalmente diferenciada con el resto de categorías profesionales", expresa Víctor Pedrera, secretario general de la Confederación Española de Sindicatos Médicos (CESM), en Las Mañanas de RNE con Josep Cuní. "Parece mentira que después de la pandemia, lo que tuvimos que soportar el colectivo médico, nos encontramos ahora que la Administración intenta solucionar y paliar sus deficiencias con un estatuto marco que, hablando en plata, lo que pretende es esclavizar al colectivo", se lamenta Pedrera.Para exponer los motivos por los que se manifiestan en contra, el entrevistado pone un ejemplo destacado, el de la jornada laboral de los sanitarios: "Mientras que se habla de una reducción de la jornada a 37 horas y media, al médico se le impone una jornada de hasta 48 horas a la semana. No se le respetan descansos semanales de más de 36 horas en cómputo bisemanal", refiere el secretario general de la CESM. Además, alude a que el concepto de hora extraordinaria en el caso de los médicos no existe: "Es la hora de guardia, que se retribuye por debajo de la hora ordinaria, que no contabiliza para la jubilación como tiempo trabajado", subraya.
