Today on Sojourner Truth: The six-day teachers strike in Los Angeles, the second-largest school district in the nation, has ended after teachers and staff members approved a new agreement between the United Teachers of Los Angeles (UTLA) and the school district. Teachers are returning to the classrooms today. Whats in the contract? What, if anything, did teachers give up? How long will it take to implement the agreement?
