Venerdì 22 e sabato 23 marzo, allo Chalet Il Rosso di Prato Nevoso (CN), arriveranno i fratelli Enrico e Roberto Cerea del ristorante 3 Stelle Michelin Da Vittorio di Brusaporto (BG), per la conclusione della settima edizione di Gusto Montagna, una delle rassegne di alta cucina in alta quota più note in Italia.

Venerdì 23 febbraio, alle 20, la chef Cristina Bowerman del ristorante 1 Stella Michelin Glass Hostaria di Roma sarà allo Ski Grill di Frabosa Sottana (CN) per la settima edizione di una fra le rassegne di alta cucina in alta quota più note in tutta Italia: Gusto Montagna. “È la prima volta che partecipo a questa kermesse e che visito il comprensorio di Prato Nevoso. Ho accettato l'invito perché penso sia per me un'occasione di crescita personale. A Gusto Montagna porterò la mia idea di cucina, risultato di un mix di influenze internazionali che ho avuto nel corso della mia vita. Sono di origine pugliese, ho vissuto in tre stati diversi degli USA, ho studiato cucina francese e adesso vivo a Roma” commenta la chef.

A partire da questa estate e per un anno intero, Costadoro Caffè sarà partner e fornitore ufficiale del comprensorio di Prato Nevoso nel comune di Frabosa Sottana (CN), che offre in estate e in inverno un fitto calendario di eventi e di servizi per tutti i target, dai più giovani alle famiglie.L'azienda torinese produttrice di caffè di alta gamma – che rappresenta oggi una realtà industriale presente in oltre 40 Paesi – ha fatto da pochissimo il suo ingresso all'interno della grande famiglia di Prato Nevoso, un punto di riferimento per gli amanti degli sport invernali e del divertimento estivo.

Richard Moore, Lionel Birnie and Daniel Friebe look back at Paris-Nice, the last World Tour stage race before coronavirus brought the world to a halt. In stage 13 of Our Giro we hear from Max Schachmann of Bora-Hansgrohe who was in sparkling form this spring, finishing second at the Volta ao Algarve before winning Paris-Nice, which made its way to the French Riviera as Europe was on the verge of lockdown. The race continued in surreal circumstances, as Daniel describes in this episode, and was curtailed a day short. Schachmann – who won a stage of the 2018 Giro at Prato Nevoso the day before Chris Froome attacked and cracked Simon Yates – talks about Paris-Nice, how he hoped to capitalise on his excellent spring form and what the future holds when racing returns. We also hear from Andrea Agostini, chief operating officer of UAE Team Emirates, who was in the UAE as the virus began to spread among riders and people working on the race. Agostini was hospitalised in the UAE before recovering enough to return home. This episode also reveals the next member of Ciro Scognamiglio’s Giro Dream Team, and there’ll be few surprises about who he has chosen as team leader. A dramatic day on the Giro d’Italia saw Tom Dumoulin slash Simon Yates’ overall lead in half to set up a thrilling final two days in the mountains. It was only in the last 2km, on the long climb to Prato Nevoso, that Yates showed his first sign of weakness in almost three weeks. When Dumoulin marked a late attack by Chris Froome, Yates could not follow. By the finish he had held on to the pink jersey by just 28 seconds. Richard Moore and Daniel Friebe report from the summit of the climb, where they spoke to Dumoulin and to Froome’s teammates Kenny Ellissonde and David de la Cruz. We also hear from Dumoulin’s teammate Chad Haga, from Austrian rider Patrick Konrad and Michael Mørkøv, who was in the day’s break and helped his Quick-Step teammate Max Schachmann win the stage.
