In fact, it's Villarreal who hold that 3rd spot, but their fixture was postponed, giving way for an unstoppable Espanyol to round off the first half of the show with the praise they deserve.Part Two focuses on the manager sackings of the weekend, with Sergio Francisco and Luís Carrión having to say goodbye after further poor results from their teams. I've coached for more than 20 years. And every step of the way I've had several coaches who reveal my blind spots, encourage me to move beyond my edges, and enhance my mastery which I'm honored to pay forward with breathtaking results for my cherished clients. Most of these coaches have been one-on-one, yet every few years I join a group coaching program and meet phenomenal colleagues. In my current teacher trainer coaching program with John Wineland, right out of the gate a lovely woman reached out from the UK saying she felt a special connection to me and wanted to get to know each other better. Wow. Talk about feeling seen and valued. Now for over a year we've been connecting before or after the live workshops for dinner or even a trip to the Turkish baths, as well as checking in online with each other's brave, soulful journeys. Kate Joyner is a true blessing in my life and what a treat to dive deeper into her magic and mastery Live in Mallorca, Spain for the podcast. In this beautiful. delicious, witchy, intimate conversation we discussed... -How she's lived on the edge of a national protected forest for several years communing in sacred relationship with nature. -How as women we've lost our magic, magic that originated in the temples and when persecuted, we fled to the forests, hunted and hiding our light, wisdom and Magic, fearing for our lives. -How we can't truly lose our magic forever, it's in there- she helps to ignite it in extraordinary rituals, ceremonies, practices, initiations and celebrations she facilitates globally as women reclaim their true essence. -How she fully embraces the transformative power of the shadow, the darkness, the underworld, and craves of romantic life partner who can meet her there and even take her deeper. -How our true light is found through embracing our dark emotions, the depth of our underworld, our messiness, letting go of control, all of it is the path to light and love. -How she's committed to deeply honoring her intuition as she makes choices from her knowing not her mind, such as living in South America after her father passed and now, leaving that beautiful forest knowing her time there is complete as she embraces moving back to the States. -How in my opinion, her embracing of her Darkness is so alluring, she's deeply joyful as opposed to surface happy, she's trustable because she won't bullshit you, she's an accurate barometer of Truth and I'm honored and delighted to call her my sister. ➡️ Go check out patreon.com/allanapratt for Exclusive content! Colin McFarlane reprises his role as General Austin Pierce, a character first introduced and last seen fifteen years prior in the third series of Torchwood, another Doctor Who spin-off.[13] Adrian Lukis, Patrick Baladi, Vincent Franklin, Francesca Corney and Mei Mac were announced as additional cast members in October 2024.[14] Writing The five-part series was written by Davies and Pete McTighe.[15] Davies is the current showrunner of Doctor Who while McTighe also previously wrote for the parent series.[16] The two split writing duties across the programme, with Davies writing the premiere and finale episodes, McTighe writing the second and third episodes, and the two co-writing episode four together.[5] The first read-through for all five episodes occurred on 19 August 2024.[10] The series sees the return of the Sea Devils.[1] Filming Some filming took place internationally, including on Mallorca.[17] All episodes were produced in one block, compared to the two to three blocks that would usually be used for five episodes.[5] Location shooting began on 29 August 2024 in Barry and Atlantic Wharf, both in south Wales. Power remarked that this was the case for The War Between the Land and the Sea and awarded 2 out of 5 stars.[22] Writing for The Guardian, Lucy Mangan gave 3 out of 5, feeling that the spin-off was "an opportunity wasted", comparing it in an inferior light to Russell T Davies' previous show, Years and Years.[23] Several outlets praised the performance of returning actress Jemma Redgrave, including Radio Times, SciFi Pulse and The London Standard.[24][25][26] Isobel Lewis, writing for The i Paper, compared the show to Torchwood, highlighting the use of profanity. Lewis praised Davies' "willingness" to "not simply feed fans the same stories over and over", noting how the finales featuring Ncuti Gatwa's Fifteenth Doctor often "struggled to stick the landing".[27]
As the festive season draws ever closer, you might be scratching your head for a suitable gift for those people in your life who already have enough to read, watch or listen to. Hampers have been a good go-to option for a while, and something we have used previously. The guys from Bodgega Hampers have created the opportunity to double down on the particular vibe and excellence from a Spanish perspective. Below are our testers thoughts. Our team reviewed this particular hamper from Bodega Hampers Feliz Navidad, Bodega Hampers reviewed It is fair to say that several members of our reviewing testing team were slightly licking their lips when news of this product review came in. Naturally it didn't hurt that a few of the team with Spanish links, including those that moved to Ireland from Spain, were very keen to take on this onerous task. For those familiar with the food, wine and cuisine from Spain, you will recognise that simply creating a Spanish derived hamper service for the Irish market is already a pretty strong idea. In no particular order we will serve up a few comments and observations. First up though, some other hampers that we have encountered can actually be slightly disappointing when you contrast the weight and volume versus the price and heft of what actually arrives. Bodega Hampers offer quite a wide price range of products, from financially quite conservative, to completely blow the budget out of the water. The hamper we received for review seemed quite reasonably priced relative to the range and amount of content contained inside. Therefore on this overall consideration our reviewers gave it a thumbs up and felt that, for gifting, there was good scope to tailor the gift suitably to make both sender and recipient happy. If you are already a fan of Spanish food and wine, you will be happy with the range of products in the hamper. If you are not familiar with the benefits of Cava, then this is a fantastic, and, in many ways superior alternative to champagne for a light Christmas lunch toast. The one supplied in the hamper is great, and there are plenty of other options if you fancy something different. Spanish reds and whites are always pretty good, and the two included in this hamper very much felt like something to be appreciated over the Christmas period. The cheese and ham were great, as you would expect, and we suspect they had fun curating (terrible pun alert) the selections for the hamper series. For those who have not lived in Spain, you might not realise that nougat is such a Christmas thing. We remember stands piled high with Turrón in the Madrid megastore Corte Ingles. If this is not familiar to you, then do try it, but just chew carefully, as no one wants to visit the dentist over the festive break. Similarly a can of sardines might not seem like the obvious part of a Christmas hamper, but it is reflective of something popular from Spain. Tuna is another seafood well loved in Spain too, so it is logical to appear here, although it did make our testers have Proustian yearnings for aceitunas rellenas de anchoas, or perhaps almejas or pulpo in place of either the sardines or the tuna. Overall it was a definite thumbs up from our testers, who all agreed that they would happily do more hamper testing going forwards. The dispatch and delivery of the hamper was super speedy too, coming fast and efficiently. As a new Irish / Spanish company there are one to watch, and hopefully they have a positive first Xmas season. Join Elvis and Barb at all these amazing shows coming up in 2026 * Vision 21 in Las Vegas Jan 15-17 https://www.nadl.org/nadl-vision-21 * Cal-Lab Association Meeting in Chicago Feb 19-20 https://cal-lab.org/ * LMT Lab Day Chicago Feb 19-21 https://lmtmag.com/lmtlabday * Dental Lab Association of Texas Meeting in Dallas Apr 9-11 https://members.dlat.org/ * exocad Insights in Mallorca, Spain Apr 30 - May 1 https://exocad.com/insights-2026 This week, Barb and Elvis finally sit down for a long-overdue full episode with the man behind the Fans of Voices From the Bench Facebook group, second-generation lab owner, NADL (https://www.nadl.org/) President, and all-around industry cheerleader: Joe Young of Young Dental Laboratory (https://youngdentallab.com/). Joe shares his family's incredible journey from Hong Kong to Philadelphia, how his parents built a small ortho lab out of a spare room, and how he grew up trimming models on a step stool before eventually returning to the lab after college. He walks us through the evolution of the business—from analog ortho, to adding fixed, to diving head-first into early CAD/CAM. Today, Young Dental is a 26-tech, multi-department full-service lab serving PA, NJ, and DE. Joe talks about the challenges of ortho work in a digital world, the need for wire-bending talent, the rise of aligners, and the struggle of balancing old-school techniques with new-school tech. He also reflects on family legacy, his dad's 45 years as a CDT, and why keeping that generation's knowledge alive matters more than ever. As NADL President, Joe dives into board service, workforce development, collaboration across organizations, and his goal of connecting labs and vendors more effectively. Plus, he gives an honest look at what it's like to step into leadership, find your voice, and leave a legacy for the next wave of techs. Of course, it wouldn't be a VFTB episode without gifts, jokes, accidental innuendo, and a rapid-fire Q&A that reveals Barb's love of tomahawks and Elvis's dream of 88-degree weather. Happy Holidays from Ivoclar! As the year comes to a close, all of us at Ivoclar want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the incredible Voices From the Bench community. Thank you for your partnership, your trust, and the support you've shown throughout the year. From our Ivoclar family to yours, we wish you a joyful, healthy, and safe holiday season. May your days be merry, your nights be bright, and your smiles shine like freshly fallen snow. Ho, ho, ho — Happy Holidays from Ivoclar! Elvis and Barb are gearing up for their chat with the HyperDent Dude himself, Jordan Greenberg from FOLLOW-ME! Technology (https://www.follow-me-tech.com/). At LabFest, Elvis found out that every hyperDENT (https://www.follow-me-tech.com/hyperdent/) license comes with Template Editor Lite — a built-in feature that lets you make safe, customized tweaks to your milling strategies. Whether you want to prioritize surface quality or speed, this tool gives you the control to fine-tune your results while FOLLOW-ME! keeps everything validated and reliable. Because in the end, us lab techs love to tinker — and hyperDENT makes it easy to choose your own CAM-venture. Special Guest: Joe Young.
