God is not interested in your money, he is interested in your life! Believers can experience a dryness in their relationship with God that may be related to lack of obedience in being generous. Jay explains that, “you either have an Issac or an idol. You have something you are willing to lay on the altar of God or that something is your god”. God certainly does not ask for your money because He needs it, it is all His anyway. By his grace, he allows us to participate in what He is doing. In this episode of Tenaciously Human Podcast, we have Juli Wenger. A certified professional coach, speaker, author of "Fired-up, Fulfilled, and Free" and the host of Becoming Ourselves - The Podcast. We talked about trusting God in our lives, she shared how she found her freedom and followed her purpose.Sneak Peek: 9:05 There's kind of two schools of thought that I am debating in my head. One is that God made you this way. There are strengths to this “weakness”, right? There's a flip side to this coin and you need to embrace the challenges that come with this because it also leads to strengths. And the second is that God did create you this way. And he also created modern medicine to help you. And so which one is it? 17:40 And I was pleasing people all day long and I was overachieving all day long just for those hits of validation from outside– That maybe I was enough, but the problem with those hits is they fade. And so He reminded me that the roles and the titles and all of those things, they don't actually define who we are.And as I worked through some of that, I came to this point where I realized that I am love joy, strength, flight, and grace. That is the essence of Julie when you strip all the titles and all the roles away. And it's a reflection of Him29:00 I am choosing today to trust that God has me exactly where he wants me to be. I am choosing today to see myself the way he sees me. I am choosing to remember and be reminded of who I am and that my value and my enoughness is not tied up in my roles, but my enoughness is settled because he's enough.43:15 From a religious standpoint, I believe God communicates with us, but even from a more secular standpoint, that is where so many of these ideas and thoughts and new ways to do things come to us is in those moments of stillness. And I believe it comes from God.Follow her on her IG: instagram.com/juliwengerLearn more about her: www.juliwenger.comGet your copy of Fired-up, Fulfilled, and Free : www.juliwenger.com/firedupbookWant to be on the show?
