Charlie Zamora joins Mark Bell for a powerful conversation about faith, family, fitness, business, and what real strength actually means.Charlie has spent his life in gyms, from CrossFit and Olympic lifting to jiu-jitsu, HYROX, and coaching. But in this episode, he explains why strength is much bigger than numbers on a bar. He talks about growing up around hard-working men, building Warriors Fitness, evolving his business, working with firefighters and police departments, and learning that success means nothing if it costs you your family, your faith, or your purpose.Charlie also opens up about his relationship with God, the discipline required to keep showing up, why “how you feel doesn't change what we have to do,” and how serving first responders became one of the biggest missions of his life.Special perks for our listeners below!

This week we talk with leaders from Astra Mental Health and Recovery about the work they're doing and the strong partnership TRM has with them. Our guests explain why the merger between Valeo and Family Service & Guidance Center to form Astra is more than administrative. It reshapes access to care across the lifespan of individuals. The conversation breaks down what community support really looks like, from peer support and tenant care to traditional case management and benefits access. It also highlights the essential role of building connections with each person we encounter, as well as organizational partners. The thread tying it all together is relationship. We dig into how stigma fades when language becomes person-centered, when we listen to the individual in front of us, and when leaders are willing to be honest about their own struggles, not just someone else's. If you care about mental health services in Topeka, homelessness response, addiction recovery, and building a community that treats people like neighbors, you'll come away with a clearer map of what's working and what's still needed. To learn more about TRM, Click Here!To support TRM, Click Here! Send us a textAfter Sabbath School quiz time, DeeDee gets invited to a fall festival—but it's the same night her family collects canned food for people in need. Mom and Dad let her choose. DeeDee prays, remembers the lesson about doing what Jesus wants, and decides to serve. House after house, some doors open and some don't—until a nearly dark home reveals a family with no food at all. DeeDee insists they help, and she and Mom return with groceries. That night she realizes following Jesus to help others was “the most fun ever,” and a clear “Jesus footprint” she can't wait to share. Talk about it:What hard choice did DeeDee face, and how did she decide? Why was knocking on the almost-dark house important? When have you sensed a “Jesus footprint” guiding you to help someone? What's one way your family can serve a neighbor this week?Visit our website: kathyskidsstorytime.orgWe'd love to hear from you.To reach us quickly, click the “Send us a text” link at the top of the episode description.Or write to us by mail:Kathy's Kids StorytimePO Box 44270Charlotte, NC 28215-0043
Family Service December 28th, 2025. Come out, Come out, Wherever You Are by Pastor Tim Mahan
Merry Christmas, Packinghouse! This Service includes rippin worship, a concert from the Altar Billies and our children's Christmas choir, and a message from Pastor Ed about the good news of Luke 2—Jesus, the Savior, has come. In this message, we walk through the shepherds' story and why it matters that God chose ordinary, overlooked people to be the first to hear the announcement of Christ's birth, reminding us that the gospel is for everyone. We also reflect on the peace Jesus brings—peace with God and the peace of God in our hearts—and the simple truth that we can't save ourselves. As we close with candlelight worship, our prayer is that every person listening would know the joy and hope found in a personal relationship with Jesus. - Ed Rea - Wednesday, December 24, 2025

Sunday Morning Service from December 21st. Merry Christmas!
Pastor Luke's message encourages us to embrace a daring faith in 2026 by living wholeheartedly for God, akin to the biblical figure Caleb, and challenges us to care, declare God's promises, and be aware of where God is leading us. It emphasizes the importance of trusting in God, sharing the gospel, and living a life worthy of our calling.

What if the most game-changing shift in your life is a three-letter word you've been afraid to use?In this episode of Men Talking Mindfulness, hosts Will Schneider and Jon Macaskill sit down with Jim Alling—former President of Starbucks, COO of T-Mobile USA, and CEO of TOMS—to explore how the simple word yes, paired with gritty gratitude and servant leadership, can transform the way men lead, live, and relate.Jim shares how saying yes to the right things—family, values, service, and curiosity—helped him navigate massive responsibility: tens of thousands of employees, billions in revenue, and the pressure of leading globally recognized brands. He also gets honest about the real cost of hustle culture, what burnout feels like at the top, and why the most effective leaders are often the most human. In this conversation, you'll hear:• How one mentor at Starbucks taught Jim the “power of yes”• Why he chose family and his child's health over a secure corporate path• What gritty gratitude looks like when life is hard—not polished• The difference between performative leadership and servant leadership• Why men who “have it all together” often feel empty inside• How to say yes without becoming a doormat (values, boundaries, clarity)• How humility, humor, and service kept Jim grounded across Nestlé, Starbucks, T-Mobile, and TOMSIf you're a man caught between success and burnout—or you lead people and want to make a real difference without losing your soul—this episode is for you. You'll walk away with:✅ A new understanding of yes as a doorway to purpose✅ A servant-leadership blueprint that still delivers results✅ Tools to integrate gratitude into pressure and responsibility✅ Encouragement to lead as your whole self—not just your titleSponsorPeptides for Health by Mark L. Pastor Josh preaches a short message for the Family Service about the Magi and their journey to Bethlehem.
Seven messages from the youth of HungryGen speaking hope, purpose, and calling this generation to follow Jesus with bold faith.
This weekend at our Family Service, we looked at the story Paul tells in 2 Timothy 1:5 about how faith first took root in Timothy through his grandmother Lois and his mother Eunice. Their home wasn't perfect or put-together; Acts 16:1 shows us that Timothy's dad wasn't a believer, and the family was divided in their faith. But God has never been limited by messy families! He loves to make something beautiful out of places that feel broken. Paul then gives us three pictures of wholehearted discipleship: a soldier who stays focused on the One who enlisted him, an athlete who trains with intention, and a farmer who works faithfully even when growth is slow. Does my life compel my children—and anyone watching—to follow Jesus? May we be a church full of steady, wholehearted disciples. You can join our OneLife Sunday morning gatherings via livestream at 8:45am and 10;30am CST every Sunday morning.
