The Supergirl TV show may be on hiatus, but we've got plenty of Kara Danvers to discuss this week! It's a different interpretation of the Supergirl origin story, but could be a wonderful introduction to the character for younger readers. In this four-part arc, Kara is still learning to get a grip on her powers while maintaining her normal life with parents, friends, and high school track when a terrible earthquake threatens their small town. There's plenty of teenage angst, star-crossed romance, and some incredibly disgusting Kryptonian pimples. We'll discuss the parts we enjoyed, and the parts that didn't stick their superhero landing. Let us know what you thought, and which version of Kara might be your favorite!
