The following programme tells the story of a mass shooting in a small church in Sutherland Springs Texas and how it affected the faith of the community and the church's pastor Frank Pomeroy. A warning, there are graphic and potentially upsetting references to the shooting throughout the programme. As a gun man calmly walked into his church during its normal Sunday service and shot dead 26 of his parishioners, including his 14 year old daughter, Pastor Frank Pomeroy, was absent, miles away from his flock on a course to get a gun license, so he could teach teenagers how to handle firearms responsibly. It was the worst mass shooting in the history of the state of Texas, and gun ownership is one of the most divisive issues in the USA. Six months on, Pastor Frank talks of how this tragedy has affected his faith, and how the community have been able to keep going. He also tells Colm Flynn about how, as he stands in front of his flock to preach, he has his own concealed weapon while preaching, and how the Bible justifies both him and his congregation being armed. Pastor Frank believes God was there on that fatal day, that the blood spilt was not in vain, but that God will use it to bring about a Christian Revival. In light of the Sutherland Springs Texas church shooting, the question of safety and security at churches is front and center in the minds of conscientious pastors. What theological issues should inform our views on safety and security? Is it “spiritual” to think in terms of possessing a right to safety and security? How did Jesus address these issues with his disciples? Is there a biblical doctrine of self-preservation? Do concerns for safety at times limit our effectiveness in advancing the gospel? Practically, what measures should a pastor and church take to ensure the safety of the congregation? Listen as Brian Croft and Jim Savastio address these and many other related questions.

Virginia held state elections for the Governership and legislative offices and the Democrats won big. But don't buy into the media and DNC hype about what those wins mean for the country. On November 5, 2017, there was a mass shooting at the First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs, Texas, about 30 miles east of the city of San Antonio. The gunman, 26-year-old Devin Patrick Kelley of nearby New Braunfels, killed 26 and injured 20. We'll spend some time talking about it. Honor and valor are supposed to be traits shared by our servicemen and officers, which is why it is so disappointing that an Air Force Cadet hoaxed a "Hate Crime" at the academy. And don't forget about the Edwards Notebook and the Veteran's Tip of the Day! All of this and more as time allows. Listen live, join the chatroom, be a part of the show.

We have a bloody Civil war going on here in America....between those who are moving and operating in the spirit of ESAU, who oppose and who hate God, and those who are moving and operating in the spirit of JACOB, those who love the God of Israel and His word/His Torah. This battle in the United States of America has been increasingly escalating in the last generation. It has gone from a cultural war, to a political war, to an ideological war, and now it has escalated to a BLOODY Civil war.... and people are dying. * The first shot of the modern day bloody Civil war was fired in June 14 2017 at some Republican Senators who were playing baseball. Target: conservative Republican Senators: 5 were injured, including Rep. Steve Scalise. * The second shot fired in this modern day bloody Civil war was fired at Charlottesville, Virginia on August 12, 2017 when White Supremacists and counter-protesters got out of hand. Target: smear the reputation of conservatives and associate them with "White Supremacists". 3 were killed, dozens were injured. * The third shot fired in this modern day bloody Civil war was fired 0n October 1, 2017 at a Country Music Festival in Las Vegas; not long after patriots began singing "God Bless America" the reign of bullets began. Target: Conservative Patriots. 59 killed, more than 500 injured. * The fourth round in this modern day bloody Civil war happened in October 31, 2017 with the truck ramming in New York City: Target: anyone on the street, including kids on bikes. 8 were killed, 12 injured, with ISIS claiming responsibility. *The fifth shot fired was when a neighbor, Rene Boucher, attacked Senator Rand Paul while he was mowing his grass on November 3, 2017. This attack was vicious, and Senator Paul now has five broken ribs. Jim Bullington, a former city commission member who knows both men, told the Post that the two, who live next to each other in their gated community, often engaged in heated exchanges about politics; Boucher is a vocal anti-Trump socialist, according to Bullington. * The sixth shot fired in this modern day bloody Civil war happened in early November 5, 2017 with the shooting rampage in Sutherland Springs Texas at the First Baptist church. Target: bible believing Christians who gathered on a Sunday morning to worship God and read His word. 26 were killed, 20 wounded, victims ranging in age from 18 months to 77 yr old. The shooter was an atheist and had become hateful toward Christians and thus, toward God. All of this is truly gut wrenching and heart breaking. We are IN A WAR NOW...on multiple levels. There is a spiritual war going on. It is the battle of the ages. And there is a LITERAL war going on in the streets of America. People are dying. We all must choose sides; where do we stand? Do we love the God of Israel or hate Him? What do we need to do within the church, the believing remnant in this nation, to fight this war for the saving of lives? Listen to the rest of the message. There is a Call to ACTION at the end of the message! Click link below to read this message: http://www.hebrootsradio.com/call-cry-national-repentance-mean-follow-torah-yeshua/
