Halfway between a Nu Disco edit and a sample-based Deep House track 'à la Andrés', Vienna-based artist @vktr finds its way through and delivers an great Disco tool on Nos Classics. @nosclassics is a label run by Uffe, VKTR himself... and an artist that we, here at Electrocorp, are really found of: Jeppe Wolmer. We've had a few quality tech house mixes recently on the Meet the Locals podcast, but now it's time for some proper balls to the wall, take no prisoners, techno from long serving local https://soundcloud.com/sinestro. Recorded live at his recent appearance at Big Dub, this one grabs you by the short and curlies and doesn't let go! "I was invited to play in The Pirate ship at Big Dub this year so I knew I was going to be able to play a lot harder than your average club gig. Boy was I right! I started off with a 140 bpm Surgeon tune from 1999 and was able to keep the vibe going till the end of the set. The highlight of the night was a remix I did for VKTR vs Gazza "Funny Biz". The bassline in that track kicked in and the crowd went into overdrive. Stellar party! Big props to Ian Denbow and Chad Bozzarelli for booking me along with Eddie Traxson and Dj AMP for making the sound so dope." You can catch Sinestro playing regularly in the DMV region. His new EP under his Darik Wyldstar alias comes out at the end of August: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0sDVAcjQuxk&list=PLvUChW1UHgwAFXncqt3dR-ZhQWPrmzxik Beatport page: https://www.beatport.com/artist/sinestro/2168 One Love Massive: http://onelovemassive.com/the-collective/sinestro/ Soundcloud: https://soundcloud.com/sinestro Mixcloud: https://www.mixcloud.com/DJSinestro/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/DjSinestroRehab Twitter: https://twitter.com/ChrisSinestro Discogs: ://www.discogs.com/artist/15435-Sinestro
