His remarkable journey has left its mark on generations of clubbers and DJs. 🕺 It all began at the age of 14, when he became resident at the family-owned Mackenzie Club, where he would play for an incredible 37 years! 🎶 In 1980, he opened his first record store, before taking over USA Import, a true institution for DJs from all across Europe. 💿 On the production side, he co-founded the iconic project The Mackenzie, with which he helped revolutionize Belgian trance. Tracks such as Higher in the Sky, I'm Free, Arpegia, and Innocence (which stayed #1 in Belgium for 54 weeks) became timeless classics. Their album Angel went straight to #1 in sales upon release, the very first time a Dance record achieved this in Belgium. 🏆 Awarded at the TMF Awards (Best Album, Best Group, Best Single), Pat Mackenzie established himself as an essential figure, performing in some of the most legendary clubs and festivals: La Bush, La Rocca, Fuse, Extreme, Balmoral, Ibiza, and even Tomorrowland (Age Of Love).
