This Martin McDonagh film is about a woman named Mildred Hayes, played by two time Acadamy Award winner Frances McDormand, who seeks justice for the unsolved murder of her daughter. She puts three billboards up that point the finger back at police Chief Willoughby (Woody Harrelson), which ends up ruffling a lot of feathers.
