We must not make it increasingly challenging for those around to recognize us as true followers of our Lord Jesus Christ. Paul warns Christians of the great danger (Eph.4:17-25) in not protecting ourselves from the ungodly influences around us. If we disregard this stern warning, we can find ourselves thinking and acting in ways that are in contrast and diametrically opposed to the Word of God that once directed our lives. The result is a life of thinking, reasoning, and acting that serves to camouflage who we are, who God is, and the timeless truth of God's word. This is not only a great detriment to us, but to those around us who are in desperate need of the saving and liberating work of the Savior - Jesus Christ.

WHAT'S THE PROBLEM - Pt.1 - 07.10.22 Message (Audio) It was not too very long ago that life in this world was much simpler and more tranquil than it is today. In reality, today's world is becoming more and more complex and perplexing. This shouldn't surprise us, seeing that the Word of God clearly lets us know that this would occur. In this Easter message delivered on 4/21/19, Pastor Barney takes us on a journey through the life and adventures of Peter, taken from Luke 22:31-33 as he explains how essential hope is to human life and shows us how the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead cements our access to a living hope and gives us access to ever present resurrection power operating in our everyday lives. 

In part 7 of his current message series delivered on 7/28/19, Pastor Barney describes how overthrow often starts in our "minds", and explains the difference between knowing "about God" and what He's said, and "knowing God", by practicing what He says.  Continued overthrow of the mind and it's affects toward overthrow in our lives.

In part 5 of his current message series, "Getting The Upper Hand", delivered on 7/21/19, Pastor Barney reviews the progression of overthrow, cleansing, breakthrough, & manifestation, and elaborates on the fact that when God desires to bring about breakthrough, so that he can release his will, blessing, & power in our lives, it often times requires removing the hindrances to overthrow in our lives.

In the most recent message delivered on 8/18/19, based on Matthew 21, Pastor Barney explains the benefits of "pruning" (John 15), and how an attitude of repentance ultimately leads us to the overthrow and breakthrough God desires in our lives.

In part 4 of his current message series delivered on July 14, 2019 taken out of Matthew 21, Pastor Barney discusses the fact that everything in our lives (and in others lives) can and will be affected by overthrow in our lives, and while it is rarely easy, it is worth it to allow the keys of discipline and praise to work out the result of overthrow.

In part one of Pastor Barney's most current message series taken out of Matthew 21; we are given a contrast between the physical temple as described in the old testament and us as "human" temples (the dwelling place of the Most High God).

The number one question being asked worldwide concerning God is how can I know Him. The Apostle Paul himself stated that his resolute and firmly resolved decision, purpose, aim, goal, and objective was to know Christ and the power of His resurrection. Jesus let us know that there are keys to the Kingdom and that He has given them to us.  In the message we look at one of those keys.  It is the key to that which practically all people seek to find. What is it? The key to joy and contentment.

Israel in the Old Covenant saw and experienced mind-blowing signs and wonders. Yet, at times after experiencing these things their hearts they would become unbelieving and forgetful of God and His goodness. In this message you will see that having a strong and personal intimacy with God can and will sustain our trust in and faithfulness to God when no miracle is yet manifested or after it has happened.

We’ve all made a mess in our lives at one time or another. Do you have to stay in the mess? Do you have to get it all together before you can be in any way blessed? Does your life have to be defined by your mess? Absolutely not! Can you begin to experience God’s blessing in your mess and while He’s leading you out of it? Absolutely yes! Hear the powerful, practical and life-changing truth and example that is transforming the lives of those who hear it, know it, and experience it.

All of us have messed up at some time or other in our lives. But, does that mean God can’t bless and care for us while we are experiencing the consequences of a bad decision? Does everything have to be just right before we experience any care or blessing of God? The answer to these questions found in Jeremiah chapter 29 may shock, surprise, and hopefully greatly encourage you. Don’t let your mess confine or define you forever.
