Not lessons, but a discussion show in English with learners and more. The Irish language (Irish Gaelic) is Ireland's native language. Embrace your Irish heritage in a deeper way than you could with music or books alone. And you can do that thousands of miles outside of Ireland. If you're alone…

    Ivy Insights

The Bitesize Irish Podcast is a valuable resource for anyone interested in learning the Irish language and delving into Irish culture. As a learner, stumbling upon this podcast has been a gem of a find. The earlier episodes featuring conversations with other learners are particularly valuable and lovely to listen to. It is unfortunate that the podcast is not currently active, but the years of generous materials provided by the hosts have been greatly appreciated.

One of the best aspects of The Bitesize Irish Podcast is its warm and friendly tone. The host, Eoin, creates a welcoming atmosphere that makes listeners feel comfortable and encouraged to continue their language learning journey. The interviews with guests provide fascinating insights into Irish culture and offer opportunities for learners to practice their listening skills. Additionally, Eoin's translations help bridge any language gaps for those who may not be fluent yet.

On the downside, it is disappointing that The Bitesize Irish Podcast is no longer active. However, given the wealth of content available from previous episodes, there is still plenty to explore and learn from. It would be great if new episodes could be produced in the future to continue providing ongoing support and motivation for learners.

In conclusion, The Bitesize Irish Podcast has been an invaluable resource for learners of Irish in Los Angeles (or anywhere else) in 2023. Despite its hiatus, this podcast has gifted listeners with years of generous materials that have contributed to their language learning journey. Thank you to Eoin and his team for their hard work and dedication to sharing the beauty of the Irish language and culture through this delightful podcast.
