Jones and Keefe fire off today's show with their questions about Drake Maye coming into week 2 against the Steelers. Will he be able to elevate from his performance against the Seahawks? The guys then start asking questions about the wide receivers and which of those guys will step up. The two then wonder why on earth the Bruins have a captain, but won't announce who it is right now.
Jones and Keefe continue today's show with the Tale of the Tape between the Patriots and the Steelers. What positions do the Steelers have over the Patriots? Rob Bradford then joins the the show and looks ahead of the Red Sox as the postseason approaches. Could the Red Sox start Payton Tolle in a game that isn't game 3 against the Yankees? And with guys coming back off injury, how does that affect the postseason roster?
Jones and Keefe dive into the second half of the show starting with On The Clock! The two both give their predictions for Sundays matchup between the Patriots and the Steeler in 60 seconds. The guys then focus in on the Patriots defense and ask each other what they need to see from the defense to not let the Steelers keep up. They then wonder why Mike Vrabel completely shut down the question about Romero Doubs in his press conference, and Keefer Madness involves a guy not wearing many clothes...for a second time.
The guys head into the final hour of the show by going back to Drake Maye and the Patriots and wonder if the entire team will pull through and grab a win in week 2. They then start going over names of who is going to be the captain of the Boston Bruins and who it couldn't be. Jones and Keefe then reach into the Grab Bag and end the show with Clip Du Jour.
Jones and Keefe dive into the grab bag to preview the Red Sox and week 2 of NFL games this weekend. The guys check in to see if Bob Ryan tweeted and the guys seem to struggle with the random baseball player of the game.
Today's Keefer Madness involved a man not wearing many clothes at a Target, but apparently it wasn't his first time doing this incident. And Keefe tries his best to describe a scrapped story that was going to be used for Keefer Madness.
Jones and Keefe are both put on the clock for 60 seconds to give their entire predictions for Sunday's matchup between the Steelers and the Patriots. Keefe wants the defense to keep up all game while Jones seems to predict a low scoring game.
