This is part 2 in our series entitled Bound where we learn how to "Break Up". None of us can afford to be bound to someone or something that we are "unequally yoked to". When we are "breaking up" with the unbeliever, we must do 4 things:check yourself 1st, be sure to be in Biblical community, cut ties, and heal. We don't want what we are bound to to cost us everything. We must have knowledge, accountability, and reverence for God in order to live a life submitted to God's will. Being single can be a Blessing if you allow it to be. But, let's be real, you are looking for that certain someone. It's important that we date with intentionality and that we do not ignore red flags. Dating is all about gathering the data that you need to see if someone is in alignment with you. Moral failures within the church seem to be more common than churches on every corner in the Bible belt. These failures rock not only those directly related, but those who have been hurt by the church or those wanting to come to Jesus, but have doubts. We are called to respond and not react. Now more so than ever, we need to turn to God and obey what He says. There has to be a level of care and accountability in the body of Christ. There's no better time for us to get healthy and better in how we as Christians steward our lives. Thank you for listening and sharing this podcast! This concludes season 8!!!
