Nine verses into the 2nd chapter of 1st Corinthians, Paul inserts a perplexing, personal message to his readers, "Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him."In the previous verses, Paul had dropped a bombshell as to what he was going to attempt to convey in this letter, "we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:" A Mystery? Hidden wisdom? Wisdom which God had ordained before the world? Wisdom that was irrevocably tied to our ultimate destiny? This episode features the teaching pastor of the Arthur City Baptist Church, David Burnett, and our conversation revolves around the things that Paul wants us to understand about a future event known as The Resurrection. I hope you enjoy this interview. Comments and Questions are welcome.

In its opening verses, The Book of Enoch proclaims itself as a text written for a remote and distant generation... a generation that would be living in the last days. Are we that generation? Was this book written and preserved through centuries of time for us?On today's program will look at that very question. We'll also ask if the book is a forgery or if it can be trusted. Then, we'll explore the content in detail. We'll cover all the parts that are familiar to most and uncover incredible prophecies that most do not know are hidden within its pages. My guest is Dr. Ken Johnson and our mission is to unravel a few mysteries that seem to be woven into this very ancient book.

In our day and time, a debate rages over the credibility of the Bible. Does the Bible accurately record historical events as they happened? Does it embellish for the sake of emphasis? Or, are the events recorded in the Old Testament scriptures simply fabricated parables about the lives of people who never actually existed and passed down through the ages for the purpose of teaching moral lessons? Most archaeologists today have concluded that there is absolutely no evidence to support the biblical story of the Exodus. Today's guest tells the story of his 12 year journey in an effort to uncover the story that the Patterns of Evidence really tell. My guest today is Tim Mahoney and I'm excited about this opportunity to talk with him. So let's get him online, shall we?

The Old Testament prophet Isaiah wrote, "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given..." Was the birth of the Messiah really foretold in ancient scriptures 800 years before it happened? Or, have scholars looked back at ancient texts and forced meaning upon them in an effort to make them seem mysterious and relevant? This episode digs into the details of ancient prophecies about the birth of the Messiah with Dr. Ken Johnson. There's more, perhaps a lot more, than you may remember from Sunday School.
