During this episode, we'll explore a reflection on how to wrap up a year without resolutions. Our main topic is resilience and we explore the power, pitfalls, and preparation that is essential in order to recover quickly to the state of who you want to be instead of who you happen to be. Let's be aware of and intentionally cultivate who we are at a foundational level - that's what we will 'bounce back' to.
In this final episode for 2018, I share a very personal reflection and my lessons learned around my word. The value of my word and how keeping it to others and to myself contributes to or detracts from my sense of being and my purpose. This episode addresses the pitfalls of remaining in the preparation and planning stages of our "good intentions" and encourages action to invest in desired outcomes. What happens when we step beyond our intention setting efforts into action? Why do we have to start moving and doing now in order to have the year and the outcomes that we want in the year ahead? Listen to this episode for insight, inspiration and to get beyond your good intentions, into action and into a life that is Fabulous On Purpose!
This is week 6 - the "final" week of our Hot Bodies for the Holidays Challenge and this episode focuses on: 1) Celebrating our specific wins and successes. Looking beyond the numbers, what did we gain? What did we lose? What specifically are we honoring and rewarding? 2) What's next? Challenges open up opportunities for us to examine and achieve because they focus our attention so, what else do we want to focus on beyond the end of this challenge week?
In this episode, we're looking at the scale and exploring its purpose, its capacity and limitations. Do we look to the scale for more than just the numbers? Are there other and more credible sources for the information that we are seeking? It's time to look beyond the scale.
Today's episode is straight from my heart and covers my reflection on my journey through expectations, disappointments, and discoveries during this 6-week challenge (and prior to). This week we will: 1) Look up from the scale to see the other information that we may have overlooked that can shed some light on how we are doing and succeeding. 2) Look out to the weeks after the challenge so that we don't shortchange ourselves into short term success. 3) Redefine and refine our "Hot Bodies" success story. What twists and turns and triumphs are in your story? We're the authors so we can keep writing a winning story or write in a triumphant recovery. It's up to us. 4) Get Excited!! We are working towards who we will be in the days, weeks, months and years ahead.
