The Better Mental Health Show podcast is an absolute gem for both educators and parents alike. As an elementary school teacher and new mom, I have found this podcast to be a valuable resource in understanding the latest brain research and how it can be applied in the classroom and at home. The episodes are filled with science-backed, peer-reviewed research that is presented in a clear and accessible manner. It's refreshing to listen to a show that cuts through the fluff and provides practical information that can be implemented immediately.

One of the best aspects of The Better Mental Health Show is its commitment to featuring perspectives from various experts in the field. Host Chris has an open-minded approach and asks thought-provoking questions that delve into important topics surrounding mental health. The conversations are enlightening and offer valuable insights that can benefit both educators and parents. I appreciate how the information discussed on the show is relevant to both my professional life as a teacher and my personal life as a parent.

The only downside of this podcast is that sometimes the episodes can feel rushed due to time constraints. As a busy teacher and mom, I often find myself wanting more in-depth discussions on certain topics or additional examples of how to practically apply the information provided. However, considering the limited time available for each episode, it's understandable why some subjects may be covered briefly.

In conclusion, The Better Mental Health Show is an exceptional podcast that deserves recognition for its informative content about children's mental health. Listening to this podcast has empowered me with knowledge on how to support my students' emotional well-being in the classroom and have meaningful conversations about mental health with my own children at home. Dr. Fasano's ability to present serious information in an easygoing, conversational tone makes this show enjoyable to listen to while still being educational. I highly recommend this podcast to any parent or educator looking to prioritize children's mental health and gain valuable tools for their "emotional tool belt."
