I think that setting tangible achievable goals in your creative business is one of the most important elements to your success. I would even argue is it even possible to achieve monumental success without first laying out your intentions and creating the road map to get there. One of the less commonly spoken about problems however is over estimating how much is actually achievable in a year and setting unrealistic expectations on yourself and your business that can lead to burn out and feeling like a failure, when really the only thing you failed at was setting tangible goals. I want to share my insights in how i map out goal setting in my business and why i think it's so important to clearly define your intentions for your life as well as your business because setting crazy achievement goals for your business might mean sacrificing some life goals in the process. I had no doubt our episode on pitching would be a popular one! I know first hand the absolute lack of good information out there regarding how to get work with your dream clients as a creative. I'd even go as far as to say the word “Pitching” really only started to become known when artists such as myself started talking about how they got work beyond just good brand awareness.Quite frankly in 2021 i don't think a brand awareness strategy is enough to secure your dream clients. Instagram is becoming overly saturated and honestly, why wait years for the work to come to you.Naturally i had a lot of questions come up regarding pitching so i've answered some of the questions on today's podcast and i think it's really insightful to start to understand the nuances of what makes a great pitch and how to get started.I will be creating more resources around pitching to make sure i'm imparting everything i know about the topic to get you landing your dream clients within weeks (like my coaching students have!)Sign up to be notified of when my pitching resources are available https://view.flodesk.com/pages/619afc8f1041f04103c0e970

In Part 2 of my mindset episodes for the podcast i go into some of the most common mindset issues myself and other fellow creatives experience. I truely believe that sometimes the true block in our pathway to success is our inability to get out of our own way, dissolve the negative mindsets that are standing in our way and some times in extreme cases this can literally manifest in self sabotage in the form of procrastination, fear & limiting beliefs - ultimately stopping us from reaching our full potential. In this episode i discuss money mindset issue, imposter syndrome, fear and limiting beliefs and how you may not even be aware they are causing havoc in our lives.Follow my journey on instagram HERE If you haven't already don't forget to download our step by step free guide to creating your ultimate business niche HERE

I hope you enjoy this candid episode from me - I've decided to make it a 2 parter because there's a lot to digest and go over.Follow my journey on instagram HERE If you haven't already don't forget to download our step by step free guide to creating your ultimate business niche HERE

The common thread i'm hearing so much in our one on one coaching sessions is how lost you are feeling in your business. It's so common when we have so much information coming at us about all the things we should be doing - Instagram, websites, pinterest, branding and the list goes on and on.The main driving reason i feel that sometimes this can result in churning and burning, chasing your tail and not really driving your business forward in a meaningful way, often because the basic business foundations that i believe all successful creatives need a missing. While on the surface it may seem like your doing the right things, beautiful work, pretty photos - but the inconsistent enquires and lack of engagement on social media, i think - are because these very important foundation pieces are missing. This episode i discuss the top 5 issues i'm discovering with my coaching and why they are so important to have them rock solid.Download my free 35 ways to add additional income into your business.
