As someone who hasn't yet participated in any of the activities, I have still found immense value in listening to this podcast. Katy, the host, shares her knowledge and experience with such enthusiasm and passion that it is impossible not to feel motivated and inspired. She addresses topics that many of us are afraid to discuss openly or even admit to ourselves, and hearing her speak so honestly and candidly is incredibly refreshing and validating. Even if you're not a mom, you can still apply the principles discussed in this podcast to your own life. Whether it's navigating relationships or pursuing career goals, Katy offers guidance and support like a cheerleader in your corner. I have already been recommending this podcast to other women and urge everyone to check it out for themselves!
One of the best aspects of The Working Mom Happiness Method podcast is Katy's relatability. In this episode we'll dive deep into money mindset.Most of us were raised in a household that had scarcity money mindset, and most of us feel some level of guilt or discomfort spending money on things that will make our lives easier. One classic example of this that I come across with the women I work with is paying to hire a company or person to clean your house. In this episode we'll talk about shifting your goal and mindset in a way that will remove the pressure and dread of exercising, letting go of the all or nothing mindset, learning what works for you, and more...One important thing I want call out as it relates to getting healthier is that when you exercise, you don't get healthy because you lose weight from the exercise. You simply get healthier just by exercising! So it's not the weight loss that actually makes you healthier. You may lose weight when you start exercising, and you may not, but as far as health is concerned, you're gonna get healthier regardless of what that scale does when you start exercising more! Why does this matter?
