The continuation of our series on Death. Ah, yes! It's good to be back, Witches! (More on our terribly long hiatus on an upcoming episode!) Today, we delve into six different burial practices around the World. Wanna get turned into an awesome bead of Death? Well, you have that option, and many others, too. Wanna be in a Mushroom Death Suit? Yeah, we got you covered. And we'll reveal the REAL Viking burial practices, that people get all wrong. 

I am SO EXCITED to talk about Death! I know that may sound strange, but to me, Death doesn't have to be the final cut..To me, it's also the beginning of a new adventure! So, in the first episode of this series, Angela is talking to us about *some* of the Gods & Goddesses associated with Death. Who are they? What do they do? Also on this episode, we're catching up with a lot of birthdays that we missed. Happy Belated Birthdays, Witches!

We've all heard someone else's account...of someone else's account (and so on and so on) of horrible experiences after using a Ouija Board. Today, Angela and I are bringing the good with the bad. Some stories talk about good things that came through the Ouija board and then things take a little bit of a darker turn; TO MURDER. Hey, did you hear about the murder case where jurors used a homemade Ouija to determine guilt or innocence of the accused? We did. And we're talking about it. 

This is part 1 of a 2 part episode. This week, Angela and I are giving you the history of Talking Boards and Ouija Boards. What's the difference? Well, we'll explain that in this episode. Where did they come from? How did this trend start? How popular were they? All of those answers are revealed! 

This week, Angela and I are back in the saddle, asking each other questions and answering some questions from the group. We wanted to take this opportunity to let our listeners get to know a little bit about who we are, behind the scenes. We'll discuss some of our favorite practices and things we feel we need to work on. Also, Angela and I discuss a message that we received that put everything back into focus. Finally back online after a little, unintentional, hiatus! In this episode, Angela and I are talking about exploitation of Witches in Pop Culture. We also struggle to understand a type of Witchcraft that we stumbled onto while researching for this episode - Pop Culture Witchcraft---? Which, from what we have gathered is Witchcraft based on fictional tv shows, books and movies. We delve into the bottomless pit of some the things that shows get wrong, like...way wrong. But, we're also talking about what shows get it right. So, saddle up and let's get ready to ride, y'all. Also, after this episode, all episodes will be going back to a Tuesday, weekly schedule. This week, we’re talking about Spring Equinox/Ostara. Ahhhhh, Spring has sprung, here in Washington state and we couldn’t be happier! We’ll talk about fairy shells for your garden beds, decoration ideas and ways to honor the season. Sorry this episode is off-schedule, but parts of my city have been experiencing internet outages and we drew the short straw! But we are now, back online. St. Patrick Day may represent green beer and shamrocks to some, but it's something totally different for us Pagans. On this episode, Angela and I are presenting facts on who he was and why he's a sore subject. Also, Angela reads a very well written article from a Pagan perspective. 

On this episode of Those Witches! Podcast, we're talking about adding a touch of magic to every room of your home. You can magically infuse every inch of your home, from the ceiling, all the way down to the carpets! We'll talk about the herbs and/or essential oils you can use to protect your home from theft and how to bring that lovin' feeling back into the bedroom. Feeling a little low? We'll talk about rooms sprays that can help with that, too.  

Angela is leading the charge, talking about Candle Magic this week. She’s gonna tell us all about image candles, seven day candles and (my personal favorite) knob candles. We’ll talk about candle colors, the meaning of smoke and “talking” flames. This episode was recorded on March 1st, which marked the anniversary of the beginning of the Salem Witch Trials, so Angela and I show our respect with a moment of silence. Let’s show some respect to the innocent who lost their lives because of an accusation and show some gratitude for the freedoms we have today.

On this week’s episode of Those Witches! Podcast, Angela and I are talking about our favorite go-to’s. When we’re getting ready to do any kind of spell work, what do we reach for first and why? We'll explain it all. 

This week, we're talking about Manifestation. What it is? Why is it important in my practice? But how do I do it, though? How do I know if it's working? We'll answer all those questions and more. 

When you hear us say “Shadow Work”, we’re not talking about hexes and curses. Nope, nope, nope. We’re talking about the kind of healing that reaches into those dark, hidden nooks and crannies that we don’t like to think about, much less TALK about! Shadow Work is not for the faint of heart and it’s not for those seeking validation, but are seeking to evolve on an emotional level. Are you judgemental? That’s part of your “shadow” self.

This week, we’re talking about Deities. How do you know which Deity to work with? Will you recognize the signs that a certain Deity is trying to get your attention? When you finally get the message...well, then what? We’re tackling these topics this week on the podcast. We’re also answering questions from our faithful listeners from the group and from our Facebook page. Angela and I pick 4 Deities each to highlight this week. Sometimes, we find ourselves in a rut and we start looking for ways to break free. One of the best ways that we can dig ourselves out of that rut is to go out in the world and make new friends. How do we meet people in the Pagan community? How do we grow to trust those connections? And how the hell do we keep them when we find them? Angela and I will be talking about making those connections this week and then, we’ll talk about DATING in the Pagan Community. We’ll talk about dating apps, Facebook groups and local meetups. We're also going to discuss some safety tips when meeting someone for the first time. Angela and I want to tell all of our listeners "THANK YOU FOR LISTENING!" This week, Angela and I begin part 1 of our Pagan Family series. This episode is all about getting the kids involved. How do we make things fun, while also instilling lessons that they'll remember? How do we handle our kids spilling the beans and blabbing about us hiding in the broom closet? Why aren't kids included in a lot of the local Pagan rituals and/or ceremonies? We'll address all these questions today. We'll also talk about those how to handle those awkward conversations about sex, stranger danger and bullying. Ladies and Gentlemen, class is in session! We're bringing back that old time, Pagan traditions this week. We've received a lot of questions from some Witches who are newly awakening and just discovering their path. So, for those who are starting out, we're talking about the beginner stuff. We reflect on the past week and Janie learns a lesson about not letting her boundaries turn into walls, while Angela seeks patience and serenity. What's a familiar? What's the difference between a Spirit Animal and a Totem Animal? Well, we're gonna explain it to you today.
