We are back! We say that a lot. We know, but with the season starting it is time to refocus. To jump back in we overview some big talking points through the offseason so far. All in preparation for the beginning of the new year. We missed you. And hope you enjoy

This week became a discussion about the importance of goaltending and where Cup Contenders stand in terms of their goalie tandems. We are past the days of one goaltender leading the charge. Each team now needs a quality starting netminder and a quality backup or 1B goaltender that can take a 20+ game load off of the starter to provide quality depth for a long playoff run. Where do the contenders stand with their goaltending? Find out! 

This week is the first of, undoubtedly, many weeks of trade deadline preparation. Keep tuning in for more updates as we move forward.

Happy New Year! 2024 is fixing to be one great year in the world of hockey. 2024 World Junior Tournament is underway. United States, Canada, and Sweden the three favorites. And we discuss franchises like the Arizona Coyotes and Florida Panthers, in regards to Organizational profitability, cohesion and the potential and nuance around Relocation and further expansion.

This week we step East and start with the Metropolitan division. Carolina through Washington.    Look for our final preview next week as we finish with the Atlantic Division.   

From Arizona through Winnipeg; The Central division is up this week. Where do we see each team finishing this coming season, and how has their offseason been so far? And do you agree?     

Starting in the Pacific and working our way East we will cover each division over the next few weeks, looking at their offseason up to this point and where we predict them finishing (in division) next season.  **Episodes usually are posted Tuesdays, though it varies on schedules. However given the 4th of July we are posting a bit early so that the content reaches everyone for the week.**

We are back to finish out 2021 with our 101st episode. And we close out 2021 with some uncomfortable things to talk about. We firmly believe that sports are an escape from the overwhelming negativity, divide and overall BS that is currently going on in the world. We firmly believe that it's a mistake for any podcaster, sports organization, actor, etc to carry on about things that they aren't experts in. Believe it or not, we try our best to avoid these topics and stick to hockey headlines and fun stories, like the ones we hope you enjoyed in our 100th episode. As of this upload the Seattle Kraken have completed the final expansion payment and are now OFFICIALLY the 32nd franchise in the NHL. This allows them as of the final payment to trade and sign players. Having said that; This week we dive into the depths of the expansion draft and the details surrounding it as we inch closer to the expansion draft in July. The junior hockey season is under way. The NCAA season has come to an end. Congrats to the new National champions! The BCHL is playing in 4 different pods. The WHL is competing within divisions (like the NHL). The QMJHL is playing within conferences and the OHL is still closed for business. What is happening in Buffalo? Taylor Hall said he wanted to win. He signs in Buffalo. Then he defends that decision by saying that he wanted to play for a contender. Pegula and Adams stated that if they get him signed then they are a team that will not just be competing for the playoffs, but the Stanley Cup.  Where did it go wrong?
