Whose Turn Is It? is a podcast for those people looking for advice on how to start a role-playing or what to do when running a role playing game. Each week we'll discuss the in's and out's of GMing as well as try our best to tackle common issues that arise in RP games. We'll try to be as receptive…
From the void-realm of Whose Turn is It--The cast managed to extend a communication outside of their current location, and this was it:Whose Turn is It will be going on hiatus for an indeterminate amount of time. During this period, Dotty is having an operation which means he will be unable to speak for several months. Wesley is developing another play podcast, Fortresses and Flayers, and Dash and Alex are taking more time for themselves and pursuing future endeavors. We would like to thank the listeners, those that helped support us through advertising, giveaways, Patreon, and spreading our program. We would like to thank the Earth Hotel for taking a chance on us and producing, editing, and distributing this project. This isn't a goodbye, merely a see-you-later. News from the Void of the Boiz, for sure. Any future developments will be posted here and on the Earthhotel.org, but to get it from the source, you may still follow Whose Turn Is It online at the appropriate or inappropriate locations.
Thanks for a great season everyone! When everything that could possibly go wrong goes wrong, it helps to know that there are hundreds of folks in the world supporting the show. We'll have a long break to follow this, but we'll update the podcast feed as soon as our friends are healthy and ready to get back at it. We have a nebulous, grateful and abstract love for all of you that we don't know, and a reasonable amount of social love for those we do. Thanks for your time and ears!Go play games!
This is it, loyal listeners! The Boiz have found themselves face to face with evil in the form of Mr. Big the Litch disguised as Mr. Big of the Sex in the City. Something fishy is going on as we begin the heist to (hopefully) end the tyrannical grasp the undead master has on our group of intrepid gamers! Thanks for being with us as we end the arc with many, many bangs. Enjoy! This episode guest stars the music of the surf rock monsters-in-men DAIKAIJU from Huntsville, AL. They're fabulous folks who lent us their sound and their likenesses for this campaign, to killer effect, we think. Find their music here: http://daikaiju.org/and SEE THESE GOLEMS LIVE.
The unlikely crew have finally assembled together with everything they need to infiltrate New Birmingham’s hottest party and take back their fate from the lascivious litch who binds them. We get everything in place for next week’s epic conclusion— the tools, the tricks, the bitching tunes, and the tenacity to try and escape Mr Big’s pocket universe. WILL THEY SUCCEED?
The Jeeves return again to infiltrate the Gatsby mansion of Mr. Big, the litch who holds the reins of New Birmingham and the very reality the gang is trapped within! This episode sees the gang trying to stealthily walk through the front door of the swinging mansion and gather some intel. Will they survive or be found out? You decide! Stay tuned for the next three installments of NET RUNNERS
After everything goes wrong, we play the game. Join us this week and the next many thereafter to find out how the Boiz manage to get out of the cyberpunk world in which they are captive. This episode sees the gang traversing an abandoned (?) comic book shop and the storehouses of the most prominent crime lord in town. Thanks for sticking around! We now resume our regularly-scheduled programming.
The Boiz are back and they are Jeeves on the edge! Last week saw the Netscaped team of Dotty and Jacquie cornered in the library by a giant cybernetic rat, and the gearfinding team Glam Rock, Alex and Dash, taken hostage by an Aussie Ork with an attitude. WHAT HAPPENS NEXT? Explore this alternate future Birmingham with us in Net Runners.

Since October is upon us, we wanted to get on in a stylish fashion by flashing back to the beginning of Sir Tom Hanks’ career and have some fun by riffing on this classically naff movie about tabletop in the heart of the Satanic Panic. You can watch Monsters and Mazes for free on Amazon Prime, whom we do not endorse in any way and are not connected with. We do not suggest that you illegally download this film from elsewhere online, in fact we tacitly deny that as a proper course of action.Watch along with us and hear our opinions instead of Tom Hanks’ original voice! The film starts at 13:39 in the podcast. You’ll hear 3 beeps and you’ll click play on the three. This episode contains no audio from the film so we don’t get copyright blocked. If you enjoy this sort of thing, let us know at WTIIboiz@gmail.com or on Twitter @WTIICast.We’ll be back next week with a Dungeon Delving episode to start off our next campaign series in the Shadowrun system, set in a dystopian cyber-punk Birmingham.Come check out the Birmingham Tabletop League’s game night every Monday at Brennan’s Irish Pub, 4-9pm! We've returned in one piece to what seems like our normal game space but actually turns out to be a boundless void with a table, minifridge, and bathhouse?! What were those darn WTII Boiz thinking this time?
