Join me for happy hour fourteen with Marty Schneider, a man more internet than human! Marty is one of 25 people under the age of 70 who cares about the funny pages. Oh, and he was also turned into a comic strip villain and was the target of an online flame war by James Allen, the third author of comic strip Mark Trail. As Marty says, “it's really weird to open up the paper and see a cartoon of yourself being attacked by a fucking bear.” Yes, Marty, that is really fucking weird. This story comes full circle when Marty rightly reported James Allen for disparaging and sexually harassing Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Speaker Nancy Pelosi using his comic strip's twitter account. Here's the timeline of events, as chronicled by reddit.com/hobbydrama: The time the official Twitter account of a 74-year-old comic strip sexually harassed members of Congress. Marty's Boo ClubWallace the Brave: Wallace the Brave is the best comic in newspapers right now, hands down. The art is amazing, the gags are always good, the characters feel warm and familiar, and the parents actually seem to like being parents! Buy the books!Breaking Cat News: A comic strip about cats that report the news. Very sweet, very cute, fun watercolor art style. Buy the books!Phoebe and her Unicorn: Another fun newspaper comic strip. A little girl is friends with a unicorn. Arrow – s08e07 The Flash – s06e08 Supergirl – s05e09 Batwoman – s01e09 Black Lightning – s03e08
Lex Luthor (or way too much work) got in the way of Kenneth getting anything done recently, so we're finally posting another countdown to Crisis episodes. Thanksgiving threw all our plans off so we're playing a lot of catch-up right now! That said, we're thankful that (almost) all our shows are kicking butt and taking names this year! Supergirl - s04e06 Batwoman - s01e06 Black Lightning - s03e05 Titans - s02e11

With one final ice cream bet, we bid a farewell to Krypton, Lobo, and all that could have been. We're also talking about Jessica Jones, Titans, and aaaalmost The Boys, so come check it out! Krypton - s02e10 Jessica Jones - s03e08 Titans - s02e04
Why they waited until Krypton's penultimate episode to really kick into high gear, we'll never know, but it's sad to see so much potential getting washed away by cancellation. Beyond that, both Titans and The Boys are kicking into high gear with their very different, yet still quite violent, takes on superheroes. And last but not least, Jessica Jones is trucking along through her midseason and we're talking about Netflix slump, filler, and why we may like monster of the week more than we thought. Krypton - s02e09 The Boys - s01e04 Titans - s02e03 Jessica Jones - s03e07
Monica and Kenneth are properly back on track to keep Beatrice filled in on all The Boys happenings! We're also really getting into the new season and the new feel of Titans, Jessica Jones is entering YASK (Yet Another Serial Killer) territory, and Krypton is....showing why it got canceled. Tune in for all that plus your comic news right here! Krypton - s02e08 Jessica Jones - s03e06 Titans - s02e02 The Boys - s01e03

Krypton may not be getting a third season but we're here to talk about why its second season probably got itself killed... Krypton - s02e06 Young Justice - s03e22 Jessica Jones - s03e05 The Boys - s01e01/02
It's with a sad pall hanging over us that we bid a too early farewell to Swamp Thing. What could have gone differently, where could they have taken the show, who even would have been on next season since the last episode was a slaughter fest?!? We delve into all that plus why Krypton really needs Lobo back, how Jessica Jones can be great but depressing (and why B should probably watch it), and how Young Justice just hammers it out of the park week after week! Swamp Thing - s01e09/10 Jessica Jones - whoops B didn't watch it Krypton - s02e05 Young Justice - s03e21
Season 6 of SHIELD's wrapped up and there was no way we could duck all the spoilers for the finale for a couple more weeks so this week we're powering four episodes of that. We can't not talk about our favorite cryptid too, so we're still tossing a Swamp Thing in there as well. Come tune in to all our thoughts, theories, and many many feelings about Coulson, May, and Daisy! Swamp Thing - s01e08 Agents of SHIELD - s06e10-13
We're back with an extra long episode this week; Monica and Kenneth were just going to briefly check out The Boys and maybe say a thing or two about it but....they liked it too much and just won't stop talking about it! Come give it all a listen! Young Justice - s03e17-19 Jessica Jones - s03e03 Krypton - s02e03 Agents of SHIELD - s06e08 Swamp Thing - s01e06
Someone (looking at you Kenneth) forgot to actually upload this so we're going to have a double coming at you this week! First and foremost, Young Justice is baaaaack! Plus we've got some sweet Lobo flirting, more amazing FitzSimmons, and Swamp Thing continues to kick butt. Young Justice - s03e14-16 Swamp Thing - s01e05 Agents of SHIELD - s06e07 Krypton - s02e02

Jessica Jones - s03e02 Punisher - s02e01 Krypton - s02e01 Agents of SHIELD - s06e05 Swamp Thing - s01e03
We're back after another week where a computer ate our ramblings (it's been thrown into the sun and should not be a problem again) and we're here to talk about the premiers of Swamp Thing and Jessica Jones! Tune in for our thoughts and theories because it gets weird. Swamp Thing - s01e01/02 Jessica Jones - s03e01
We're back to close down this season of Supergirl and Doom Patrol buuuuuut the recording gods did not smile on us today. We found out after the fact that the first two episodes of Supergirl were basically unusable so we're unfortunately only going to be covering its finale today, sorry listeners! Supergirl - s04e22 Doom Patrol - s01e13-15
We had great plans to talk about the final three episodes for both Legends and Supergirl but just couldn't stop chatting about our rag tag band of time dummies sooooo this week is all Legends all the time! We go over the hot topics on Hell, what should happen with Gary, why Zari is the best, should Hank have been redeemed, and more! Legends of Tomorrow - s04e13-16
The Bam Pow team is trying something a little different this week and we're doing some block reviews! It's with a pretty hyped farewell that we say goodbye to this season of Umbrella Academy. Where do we think season two will take the kids, just how dumb is Luthor, and what happens with no moon? Come take a listen to all that, plus our thought on another fantastic (and hairy/disgusting) episode of Doom Patrol! Plus as always, the ladies regale Kenneth with this week's episode of Cloak & Dagger. Doom Patrol - s01e10 Umbrella Academy - s01e10 Cloak & Dagger - s02e03
Arrow and The Flash are back this week to join Legends and it was just an amazing trio of shows!
