Of course there are stages such as prospect and client, but I have found that it helps to think of everybody as a client. When you think of everyone as a client, you have no issues with helping everyone. You give generously, and people feel your sincerity and warmth, even if they are your client that is consuming your free products. For business success, I strongly recommend treating everybody as if they were a paying customer. Because someday they might be, might as well get used to treating them that way now, and they will also get used to being treated that way by you which will make the transition to becoming a paying customer easier. In this episode I break down two very important concepts to choose your fitness goals without her self. You can always get bogged down in details, but when you go back to the basics you are much more likely to succeed in your fitness quest because you're not making it harder on yourself. These are the two concepts: First, every muscle in your body can either be on or off. Sounds simple, yet it forms the foundation for a lot of strategy when building your workouts. Second, every muscle has at least one opposite muscle. The way these muscles interplay is very important as well. Many times, if one muscle is over-engaged the opposite muscle will be under-engaged. What's the proper way to breathe when exercising? This is a great question, yet just like so many things that I do: it depends. It largely depends on how intense the workout is. For example, if you're lying on your back, obviously you can take deeper and slower breaths. In this episode, I also detail the type of breathing that I like to do with lifting weights and also with cardio exercise. And lastly, the breathing will depend on how intensely you are exercising. Also, if you are in great shape you will not need to breathe as much as somebody who is sucking wind because they are out of shape.
