Brace yourselves, folks, we are back in daddy territory. This time, Adam and Cole are paid a visit by the very sexy Christian Wilde, and this conversation goes deep into all of our sexual psyches on multiple levels! First, we get to know Christian a bit, as he details his sexual identity journey (and why he refuses these days to commit to labels) as well as how he got to be the adult industry powerhouse he is today. Then as the boys ask questions about his shift into the director's chair at Kink.com, we get some philosophical takes on what it means to be a daddy, from the sexy power dynamics we've come to expect to the deep healing that is possible when one accepts such a role, on or off camera. Christian is a fascinating guy, and we know once you listen you'll be just as excited to board the Daddy Wilde train as we are.
If you haven't heard of Christian “Daddy” Wilde before, then you are about to get one hell of an introduction to him. I remember the first time I met Daddy Wilde. He is auspiciously tall and carries himself with an air of confidence. I knew of him and knew he was a dominant force to be respected. I could also see the impressive bulge in his jeans as he walked up to me. I knew he had been watching me; checking me out to see if I had what it took to please him. Daddy Wilde doesn't pick just anyone to use. He picks only those that he knows he can use how he wants—for his pleasure. When I met him I was on my best, although slightly naughty, behavior.Presented by Fleshbot

Today, my guest is Lars Christian Wilde, the President, Chief Business Officer and Co‑founder of Compass Pathways. Compass is a “mental health care company dedicated to accelerating patient access to evidence-based innovation in mental health.” as they describe themselves. Compass was one of the first companies engaging in a bigger vision of the substance psilocybin. But back to Lars. He is a special guest to me, since I like his open mind. I remember talking to Lars in one of our first podcasts about vaccine against depression in the future. I also remember how openly Lars talked about his treatment-resistant depression and anxiety disorder and the effects it had on him and the people in his life. He told me about his treatment with psilocybin, that helped him tremendously to begin a new life with a different mental health set. I am always a fan of people, especially entrepreneurs in the psychedelic field, that share their psychedelic experiences and are personally affected by the power of psychedelic substances. In 2020 lot of things have happened at Compass Pathways. In September 2020 the company became a public company, listing their stock on Nasdaq and raising $146.6 million. Compass became one of the most exciting company in the field. Lars and I catch up, what is happening in the Compass World right now. How does a psychedelic public company feels and works different? How does the Compass and Sheppard Pratt collaboration look like, since Compass is opening a Centre of Excellence in collaboration with The Sheppard Pratt Institute for Advanced Diagnostics and Therapeutics in Baltimore, Maryland, to do more research. Their psychiatry department exists since the 1800s. We talk about how Compass works with the Charité hospital in Berlin and how to do conduct a study in times of Covid at all, we discuss COMP360, a psilocybin therapy trial for treatment-resistant depression designed by Compass for future treatments of depression (https://compasspathways.com/)

Welcome to the new world we are operating in now aka the world of ZOOM and Yoga pants all day. In the upcoming podcast our guest is Lars Christian Wilde, President and Co-founder of COMPASS Pathways. COMPASS is a mental health care company “dedicated to accelerating patient access to evidence-based innovation in mental health”. COMPASS is currently looking into the beneficial effects of psilocybin-assisted psychotherapy for treatment-resistant depression. There are so many questions right now. Will large portions of our society suffer from at least a mild form of PTSD after this current crisis? Will there be a whole new world of psychedelic investors, since we need new tools now more than ever? I loved how Lars explained why psilocybin gummi bears won’t be the future of the psychedelic movement. Also, the Covid-19 crisis might mean: psychedelic-assisted treatment could become more important than ever.Lars also discussed a possible vaccine for mental health disorders that we might have access to in a few years which would be useful in situations such as our current crisis.

Turmeric, a yellow spice used in many Asian cuisines, especially for curries, has been used in India and parts of Asia for thousands of years for its health promoting properties and is now enjoying increasing popularity in Western nutrition. Scientists have identified curcumin, a substance in turmeric, as the anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory agent mainly responsible for turmeric’s health benefits, although there are other compounds in turmeric that are believed to be medicinal as well. Medical author Christian Wilde visits with Mark to talk about this seemingly miracle spice.
