This is a collection of 15 of the best interviews from the popular NeuroSummit on The Aware Show. From 2012-2015 Lisa Garr interviewed the foremost modern experts on brain chemistry, neuroscience, and consciousness, including Dr Joe Dispenza, Mark Waldman, Dr George Pratt, and more.

Would you like to be more creative? Would you like to learn how to manifest and feel the magic again in your life? Lisa continues the conversation with Colette Baron-Reid, an internationally respected author, artist, educator, spiritual intuitive, medium, and oracle expert. Today she discusses her latest book, The Art of Manifesting: A Meditative Drawing Practice to Rewire Your Brain and Create Your Reality, which she co-authored with Anna Denning. She explains how she is an empath and an artist. Colette talks about being responsible for your energy and knowing when it's time to step away. This is an inner job. You can only change how you feel, and not change others. She discusses her 40 years of sobriety and how relationships may change throughout the years. She talks about how the universe can be playful, especially when it comes to manifesting. Colette explains studying line art and how she realized her doodles looked like neurons. She researched the connection between doodling and the brain and how this puts us in a state of flow. Drawing in this way keeps us in the theta state. She asks us to think about "how we want to feel" and how that's so important for manifestation. With brain plasticity, it's been proven that we can become a completely different identity and go beyond limiting beliefs. If we want to feel inspired, doodling and art can put us in that state of mine. It can help us feel unstuck. We can learn to trust and surrender. It's a state of flow. The universe is always listening, and we can learn to recognize the signs. This is just another tool for us to use. That's how we can experience the magic and manifest our dreams! Are you ready to take control of your life and live from greatness? Do you believe that magic is possible? Our guest today is author, coach, and spiritual teacher, William Whitecloud. In 1996, inspired by the momentum of his own self-transformation, William founded a program called Living From Greatness, a personalized course dedicated to empowering participants in discovering and living their authentic nature and expressing their own creative spirit. Today he explains that negative dynamics such as lack of time and money, being affected by outside forces such as the economy, being stuck, and worrying about the future, are purely symptoms of functioning from Low-Level Creativity. The cause of Low-Level Creativity is the belief (conscious or unconscious) that we don't have the power within us to conceive of and manifest our highest fulfillment. William will outline a simple process for taking your power back. William teaches his "Natural Success" program to thousands of clients worldwide and also contributes to social and environmental projects in Africa, for example, supporting vital snakebite anti-venom initiatives in his childhood home country, Eswatini, located in Southern Africa. His books include "The Last Shaman" and "The Magician's Way: What it Really Takes to Find Your Treasure." Info: www.williamwhitecloud.com

Did you know that your brain function can affect spirituality? If your brain controls everything in your body and mind, does it also somehow affect your relationship with God? Today's guest, Dr. Daniel Amen, is a physician, child and adult psychiatrist, brain imaging specialist, bestselling author, and the CEO and medical director of Amen Clinics. Dr. Amen takes a holistic, practical approach in linking a dynamic feedback loop that exists between the brain and the events in our lives. Today he discusses the neurological connection we have to our souls as well as offering tips for a healthier brain, no matter our age. Dr. Daniel Amen has studied the brains of loving people, as well as evil people. His research has shown that racism and hatred often involve problems in the brain. People like this may hold grudges as they can't let things go. They cannot change their opinion because of brain function. Dr. Amen has compared the brains of inmates, including murderers, and tests have shown clear deficits in the activity in their brains. If they are medicated, they may become calmer and more understanding. He further discusses the importance of examining our thoughts. He suggests writing out what you are thinking. Must you believe every thought you have? Try talking back to depressive thoughts and try to think in a more positive direction. This will start to balance the brain function. You can apply these methods to begin to gain a sense of relief. He also discusses the importance of physical exercise, as well as learning something new. This is so imperative, especially as we age. It increases blood flow to the brain and can be used to help prevent memory loss. Dr. Amen also discusses supplements, including Ginkgo Biloba, St John's Wort, and Vitamin E. If you would like to try supplementation, always be sure to consult with your healthcare practitioner first. Dr. Amen has also studied how prayer and meditation improve brain function. He suggests teaching children this as a method of focus, rather than playing video games which has the opposite effect. Dr. Amen and his clinics are dedicated to improving lives through education, the latest advances in neuroimaging, and individualized treatment plans. He has numerous bestselling books and at this time of this interview, his latest book was "Healing the Hardware of the Soul." Info: AmenClinics.com

Do you long for something deeper in your life? Are you innately drawn toward spirituality and curious about what you may find? Do you think we as humans are naturally wired to search for deeper meaning in our lives? Whether it be a walk in the woods, or through mediation or prayer, our guest today, Dr. Lisa Miller, believes that we are naturally able to tap into a heightened awareness of the world around us. We are able to cultivate circuits in our brains which help us to become more spiritually aware. By developing this awareness, we can begin to free ourselves from depression, anxiety, loss of creativity, and so much more. We can consider things from a more awakened, more elevated perspective. Dr. Miller believes when we feel depressed, this is an alert asking us for deeper spiritual exploration. Dr. Miller is a professor in the Clinical Psychology Program at Teachers College, Columbia University, where she founded the Spirituality Mind Body Institute, the first Ivy League graduate program and research institute in spirituality and psychology. She has been with the Department of Psychiatry at Columbia University Medical School for more than a decade. Dr. Miller is the NYT bestselling author of "The Spiritual Child" and her latest book is "The Awakened Brain." Do you ask yourself questions such as "Who am I?" "What's my purpose?" "What is God?" Our guest today, JD Messinger, received answers to these questions and more when he had a spontaneous awakening-type experience. He explains how he sees and hears things that most people do not, yet everyone can learn to do this. During an NDE experience after he broke his neck, he went through the tunnel of Light and came back with spiritual gifts. Prior to this, JD was the former CEO of Ernst & Young Consulting (Singapore), one of 37 distinguished graduates from the US Naval Academy, a former fireman, nuclear submarine officer, and former radio and television show creator, producer, and host. Would you like to hone your psychic skills? Are you familiar with the idea of remote viewing and how the military uses it? Our guest today, Hakim Isler, is a combat veteran and military expert in PsiOps. He is the creator of the Psi Games Event and will discuss its role in unlocking human potential. Hakim is a survivalist and explains how the human hierarchy of needs relates to the chakras. We are all part of the whole. In this interview, Hakim discusses consciousness and how we relate to the world. This leads to other states of awareness. He talks about spiritual living and the importance of breathwork. Hakim is involved in an extensive yoga program and talks about balance and various breathing techniques. He shares about three different types of breathing, all of which affect our energy, whether it's to feel more energized, to slow down and relax, or to simply be in balance. Hakim was on the TV show "Naked and Afraid" where he was sent to the Himalayan mountains and needed to survive for 21 days with no food, no water, no shelter. He shares what he learned during that time. Hakim realized that what really matters is who you are and who you love. He tries to remind people that we are unlimited beings. We must try to hold on to what matters – and love is the most important aspect. The biggest tools we have are our breath and our love. We are all connected. Hakim further discusses the practice of remote viewing which was originally designed by the military to access information from a different place and time. Essentially the veterans in this secret program were considered "psychic spies." Hakim explains how remote viewing helps us realize we are more than our physical bodies. We are expanded beings as a collective. The true awareness of who we are is about connection as a whole. He also talks about the extensive work he is doing to teach everyone, especially children, how to access our innate psychic abilities. Hakim believes it's the next level of our evolution. He invites us to step into the full spectrum of who we are by learning and experiencing these unlimited possibilities. This is Part 1 of the interview. We know science can only explain certain facts, so how important is faith when it comes to healing? These concepts can exist together. Lisa continues the interview today with our guest, Dr. Gary Simonds, a retired neurosurgeon who's treated tens of thousands of patients. Today he talks about burnout in the healthcare system, especially during and after Covid. He explains how we are all constantly depositing or withdrawing energy from our energy bank. When we are not replenishing, we can get burnt out. We may feel like we are not contributing. Dr. Simonds has worked with world experts researching physician burnout and our healthcare system. He suggests how stillness and meditation are very beneficial to everyone. Dr. Simonds also describes what the brain actually looks like, its blood supply, and its need for constant oxygen. He talks about how social isolation impairs brain function. It is so important to seek out community. He further discusses the importance of sleep and rest for a healthy brain, and how mindfulness can provide a sense of balance as it can change the brain alignment. He stresses the importance of keeping a positive attitude and focusing on resilience. Dr. Simonds suggests practicing gratitude and asks us to think of 3 things we are grateful for throughout the day. He explains how our brains actually have a different chemical reaction when looking for the positive. He suggests considering uplifting material or realizing something as simple as a smile. Sometimes we need to force ourselves to look for the positive. As a neurosurgeon, doctors typically look for the worst-case scenario, so they can plan in advance if something goes wrong. He talks about consciously directing thoughts toward possibilities and solutions. Dr. Simonds, as an expert neurosurgeon, also discusses how to deliver difficult news, while managing expectations. He's had to do it so many times, with many patients and families. He explains how it's all about trust -- a delicate walk between honesty and compassion with empathy. An expert on burnout and trauma, Dr. Simonds is the Founding Chief of Neurosurgery at the Carilion Clinic, Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine (retired) and the author of three non-fiction books. Are you tired of feeling so much tension and stress? Lisa continues the conversation today with Dr Shannon South, who is now known as the Joy Doctor. Dr. South has developed a way to overcome difficulties. We can handle these extremes, even though there may be suffering and pain. Dr. South has been working with people experiencing trauma for more than 25 years and today she talks about her method. She discusses what trauma is and how we can learn to respond from our Higher Selves. Fear is completely able to heal. Fear does not need to run our nervous and response system. Our whole being can come together as we can retrain our brains. We can map into a state of calmness through peace and love. It's a different energetic template. Our systems can be updated according to Dr. South. Dr. South talks about her book, “The Power of Your Inner Counselor” which discusses how we can heal the cells in our bodies. We can evolve into our Higher Nature by getting out of survival. We must align with and embody our Higher Selves. We can evolve into more peace, love, and trust. Meditation, and taking that pause, can help tremendously. We can choose to become more empowered by listening to our Inner Counselor. We have so much more potential than we realize. We can all get to a state of balance and find inner expansion and freedom. As we shine and evolve, we can make a difference and help more people. This is Part 2 of the interview. Are you familiar with the power of positive affirmations? Do you believe that your mind plays a role in healing? Today's guest fully believes in the power of the mind and what an incredible honor it is to have on the show mega-bestselling author of “You Can Heal Your Life” Louise Hay. She is also the founder of the world's largest self-help publishing company, Hay House. Today she's talking with Lisa about the movie “You Can Heal Your Life” which contains hours of footage and plenty of positive affirmations that you, too, can use to heal your life. Louise discusses her journey with cancer and how she took a positive approach to turn toward optimal health. She made the decision that she would heal her life. She brought together people who were all able to help including nutritionists, teachers, and others. After six months, the medical community declared her cancer-free. Her diet and affirmations were so important, but most importantly Louise says she learned to forgive. After a very challenging childhood filled with abuse, she knew she was carrying resentment and knew she needed to release it. She looked into the childhoods of her parents and realized they both came from very difficult places and passed along what they learned. This was the key to forgiving them both. She talks about affirmations which heal including, “All is well”; “Only good will come of this”; “Everything is working out for my highest good”; and “I am safe.” This is Part 1 of the conversation, and we air this in her honor on what would have been her 99th birthday. Louise Hay made her transition on Aug 31, 2017, at the age of 90. Info: HayHouse.com and LouiseHay.com.

With all the crises on the planet, war, conflict, climate change, and so much more, does it seem like things are becoming tougher, even more extreme? Yet, according to our guest today, Dr Shannon South, who is now known as the Joy Doctor, there's a way to overcome these difficulties. We can handle these extremes, even though there may be suffering and pain. Dr. South has been working with people experiencing trauma for more than 25 years. She discusses the severe anxiety disorder she had when she was younger. Medicine helped her get through it, but she knew there was more to life than medication. She saw a meditation teacher who taught her a way to calm her mind. She chose to wean herself off of her medicine on her own and an energetic peace came over her. She had no more panic attacks ever again. Dr. South learned a specific process of connection, a divinity that we can call upon in times of need. We all can access this connection and divine wisdom. This guidance is designed to help us all. She discusses her Inner Counselor Process and how to have a divine experience, without the extreme circumstance or trauma. The “conflict of opposites” creates something new. We can expand into a new way of being, because of these opposites. A third way is possible through her method. It involves talking with our Higher Selves and getting in touch with areas of pain and trauma. There are many different names for this energy -- this is your higher nature, your angelic self, your creative self. Trauma splits us off from our loving, wiser nature. It makes us susceptible to black-and-white thinking. If we can trust that we can heal, we can move through the trauma and evolve through it. We can understand ourselves more deeply. Dr. South explains how to access our Higher Self easily, by calling in support from those who passed on, those who love us. We can include angels, spiritual guides, teachers, and healers. They can all help and assist. We have the resources to heal. It's embodied in our Higher Nature. Info: theinnercounselor.com

Today's guest, world-renowned primatologist and environmentalist Dr. Jane Goodall discusses our relationship with the animal kingdom. We are all connected. We are harming the planet, and therefore if affects the animals. Dr. Goodall discusses her extensive study of primatology and specifically her work with chimpanzees. In her vast travels, she talks about how there were more than 1 million chimpanzees, and now we have less than 200,000, some of which have little chance of survival as they are spread far apart. She is also the founder of “Roots and Shoots,” a non-profit organization which encourages children in more than 70 countries to study wildlife. Roots and Shoots focuses on teaching young people the importance of taking care of our planet. She invited students from countries who were at war to speak at the UN in honor of International Peace Day. Dr. Goodall is a UN Messenger of Peace. In July 1960, at the age of 26, Dr. Goodall traveled from England to what is today Tanzania and bravely entered the little-known world of wild chimpanzees. Her unyielding patience and characteristic optimism won the trust of these initially shy creatures. She managed to open a window into their sometimes strange and often familiar-seeming lives. Dr. Goodall later earned a PhD in ethology, the study of animal behavior, from the University of Cambridge, with her thesis detailing the first five years of study at the Gombe reserve. In 1977, she founded the Jane Goodall Institute with Genevieve di San Faustino. Headquartered in Washington, D.C., with offices in 25 cities around the world, the organization aims to improve the treatment and understanding of primates through public education and legal representation. Today, her work revolves around inspiring action on behalf of endangered species, particularly chimpanzees, and encouraging people to do their part to make the world a better place for people, animals, and the environment we all share. Info: www.janegoodall.org and www.rootsandshoots.org This interview was originally broadcast in late Sept 2006 and talks about a worldwide event happening to raise awareness of peace and the environment. We air this today in honor of Dr. Jane Goodall, who passed away Oct 1.

Today's interview is Part 2 of a discussion of an impossibly difficult topic – losing a child to suicide. September marks National Suicide Prevention Month, and Lisa continues the conversation today with Betsy Thibaut Stephenson who discusses the many layers of moving forward after losing a child. She shares how her 21-year-old son Charlie called her just 11 weeks before he took his own life. There were no warning signs prior to that. Betsy shares her story and feedback she is receiving about her honesty. She talks about her son's death to make it easier for others to talk about this subject, including the immense grief and painful guilt. She has received messages from younger people who want to heal, even in the midst of difficulties and struggle. She is asking people to treat depression as an illness. It is powerful and has many different parts. She does not get mad at her son but gets very angry at the illness for the affect it has on so many. Betsy reminds us that it's fine to not be happy all the time. If you are not feeling good, she asks us to talk to someone, whether it's a parent, friend, teacher, coach, or a professional. Reach out and know that help is available. Trust helps with healing and recovery. She openly talks about going to therapy and how depression is so powerful. It can override our basic, innate power to survive. You cannot reason with a mental illness. She asks us to take it very seriously. Betsy is a veteran crisis communications expert based in Washington, DC. Rather than being consumed by grief, Betsy chose to meet it head-on, emerging with a mission to spark more honest conversations around mental health, grief, and loss. Her new memoir, “Blackbird: A Mother's Reflections on Grief, Loss, and Life After Suicide” is a brutally honest and beautifully written account of how she continues living—and loving—after the worst kind of loss. It's a story meant to help others feel less alone. Info: www.blackbirdbetsy.com This is Part 2 of the interview. You will be able to talk confidentially, for free, with a trained crisis counselor, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

We've all heard the expression, “Ignorance is bliss,” but what if the truth was just the opposite? Today's interview is a discussion of an impossibly difficult topic – losing a child to suicide. September marks National Suicide Prevention Month, and our guest is Betsy Thibaut Stephenson who discusses the many layers of moving forward after you lose a child. She shares how her 21-year-old son Charlie called her just 11 weeks before he took his own life. There were no warning signs prior to that. She recognized he was in distress during that phone call. Betsy immediately got on a plane and flew to Texas where he was living as a college student, ready to start his senior year. She stayed with him for a week. He admitted that he found a therapist and told no one else. He was trying to handle things alone. After Betsy left, Charlie came home several times. He was in college, working, exercising, hanging out with friends, and always with people. He promised that he was doing fine. Then, late one night, he took his life. She had seen him just 3 weeks prior. His demeanor was good. He visited with friends and former teachers during that trip home. There were no additional warning signs. Since Charlie's death, Betsy realized that she had underestimated how anxiety-filled his life may have been. She learned that when you are a teenager and into your early 20s, your brain is still not fully formed. Your brain cannot yet see all of the consequences of your actions. Betsy talked about suffering with depression off and on for many years. She openly talks about going to therapy and how depression is so powerful. It can override our basic, innate power to survive. Info: www.blackbirdbetsy.com This is Part 1 of the interview. If you or a loved one is experiencing thoughts of suicide, self-harm, or crisis, pls CALL OR TEXT 988. How can we find peace and happiness during these times of such conflict? Do you often ask yourself questions like “Who am I?” or “Why am I here?” Today's guest is spiritual teacher and author Gangaji who discusses her book “The Diamond in Your Pocket – Discover Your True Radiance.” Gangaji talks about how we are naturally conditioned to look outside of ourselves for food and shelter, so we continue to look there for answers. Eventually we discover that we cannot find peace and fulfillment outside and we need to turn inward. We seek and acquire knowledge, but some things can only be found inside. We can stop looking outside for the next book, the next teacher, the next escape. It's so simple, yet revolutionary. Inside there's potential for great creativity. She explains that it's no longer “seeking” but “discovering.” It's impossible to find lasting happiness outside. All pleasure fades, but lasting fulfillment can be found inside. Growing up in Mississippi, with the given birthname Toni Roberson, she felt something was missing in her life. She shares the story of finding her spiritual teacher Papaji. She is a very Western woman and never thought she would seek out a guru. She reached a point in her life where she realized she needed a teacher. She prayed and intended for one, then found herself in India six months later. Papaji was very welcoming. She recognized that this was the answer to her prayer. She found grace and radiance in his teachings. He suggested that she stop seeking and look inside for the truth. She was fearful to stop, as she thought she may lose what she had gained. She didn't know what the outcome would be. He taught her to stop following the mind. If a thought arises, let it go. For a moment, turn your attention away from what you want. As she eventually did, she was overwhelmed with love and peace. She found peace and fulfillment exists already. She experienced stillness and it was scary at first. She learned to “see what is” and we discover “what's already here.” It's our beingness. It's consciousness. Gangaji teaches the willingness to learn that we are all connected. Destructive global events are tragic yet offer a way for us to discover the limitlessness of our own hearts. She also discusses the work she does within the prison environment, teaching people to learn to experience peace. We can all support one another. If we are willing to care, we can learn greater levels of love. Info: Gangaji.org.

With so much conflict and so many things that divide us, what can possibly connect us? It seems our nation is broken. How can we begin to have unity in such a fractured place? Our guests today have spent decades working toward the idea of hope, peace, and connection. Gary Malkin is a multiple Emmy award-winning composer, resonance strategist, and music and wellness activist; Hope Fitzgerald is a spiritual teacher, intuitive dowser, and healer; and Tezikiah Gabriel is the Executive Director of Pathways To Peace, a UN Peace Messenger Organization, in consultation with ECOSOC and DGC. Gary shares that his father was born in Ukraine. He explains how he was bullied as a child. Peace in the world cannot be created without having inner peace. Gary talks about his journey through grief and trauma and how we, as a society, tend to avoid these feelings of pain. He talks about how we need to metabolism our grief and unburden ourselves. He realized that we cannot have peace if we don't have unity. And we cannot have unity, if we don't address the thing that caused us grief. Hope Fitzgerald talks about the workshops they developed together to awaken people and move them through the grief process. He also works with Tezikiah Gabriel and together they founded “We Rise as One” which is a celebration of connection and compassion through the power of music. Gary explains how they decided on the title and how the intention is to rise above with unity and oneness. It's an inclusive, multi-generational, multi-religious, multi-cultural event as a way to feel our unity. They also talk about the power of forgiveness to offer unity, as well as how music and poetry can lead to peace. This is a way to transcend the toxic division we are experiencing at this time. This is another way to celebrate both the International Day and Week of Peace. They are hosting the We Rise As One – A Celebration of Connection, Compassion & Hope event on Saturday, Sept 27 at Grace Cathedral in San Francisco. This will be a powerful day of music, healing, and unity, live in San Francisco and globally streamed. This event is co-produced with Pathways to Peace (founders of the UN International Day of Peace) and Grace Cathedral. This is Part 2 of the interview. Sept 11, 2025, marks the 24th anniversary of one of America's darkest days. To shed light and understanding about the collective grief and trauma so many faced, we are joined by spiritual teacher and best-selling author Guy Finley. Guy is the Founder of Life of Learning Foundation and the best-selling author of “Letting Go,” “The Secret of Letting Go,” and more than 25 other books. His books have sold millions of copies in multiple languages worldwide. Today he talks about how to look at tragedy and specifically addresses 9/11 and the pain that ensued. He shares how 9/11 changed us and also taught us resilience. He asks us to ask ourselves have we learned the lesson in that pain, both as a nation and as a collection of individuals? And if we have not, then did that event unite us in a new understanding? Or did it divide us further? Whether a national tragedy or a personal situation, how can we learn the lesson of pain? When we come upon a tragedy, it may also divide us further. Guy deeply examines the nature of “blame” and how it is so difficult for us not to blame. Typically, the first reaction to tragedy is to point the finger. After 9/11, our freedoms were affected literally overnight. How can we use these unwanted moments? Do we go into panic? Guy says there is no psychological fear without negative imagination. So commonly, the pain makes us place blame. When we can recognize it, we can realize it serves no purpose to blame. We can liberate ourselves from a mind with a negative imagination. We must change as individuals before we can see change in our world. Guy asks us to consider, “What is your relationship with the Divine?” In the moment when there's a problem or pain, when we resist it, we feel attacked. It's a misunderstanding of the event. So, how do you illuminate the event to come to a new conclusion? Silence can help. Anger, fear, and worry all lead us toward negativity. What we give our attention to is what we are in relationship with. This guides our experience. According to Guy, “The fear is real but the ‘Why' is a ‘Lie.'” Our lower brain creates a response of tension. Guy offers prayers to allow the Divine to let us know the truth. He also teaches free classes online twice a week. Info: GuyFinley.org and GuyFinley.org/online for free classes.

Would you like to learn more about numerology, an ancient numbers system? In numerology, our year of 2025 breaks down to the World Number “9.” This is calculated by adding 2 + 0 + 2 + 5. What does this mean? According to our guest world-renowned numerology expert Glynis McCants, this is the year of family. Glynis talks about the tragic fires in Los Angeles and how families and communities came together to help and to heal. The cycle of “9” asks us to look at who we are and how we are being. She also talks about next year, 2026, and how it works out to be the year of “1.” This represents a fresh new start. Glynis explains how to take your birth month and day and add that to the year number “9” to calculate your personal energy cycle. Glynis also talks about your Name Numbers, based on the letters of your name. She also discusses challenging days that we've had this year, including dates with emotions and drama. She remembers 9/11 and the numbers of that tragic day. She explains how we had several days this past June that were dates of drama around the world. Why are we no longer working together? Why are we so divided? Glynis explains this as the World Number “9” and how we can come together. Glynis talks about the numerology this Summer, specifically mentioning certain days. She talks about “1” days. She talks about July being the month of “7” and how we can come to our spiritual center. It's the time to meditate, and to go out in nature. She specifically suggests being around water and how beneficial that is to inner peace. It's about tapping into your inner voice and not listening to all the chaos outside. She talks about the new Pope Leo and how he is a number “7.” Glynis also discusses August being a month of “8.” It will be a very political month. She remains optimistic because although we may be in a crisis, she sees unity coming soon. She asks us to look at things objectively. The World Year of “9” means working together in our families and communities. It doesn't matter where you stand politically; we all still need each other. Glynis's unique method is based on the Pythagoras Number system, which is more than 2,500 years old. After evaluating approximately 15,000 Numerology Charts, she wrote the book “Glynis Has Your Number,” which quickly became the best-selling Numerology book in the country and has been translated in fifteen other languages as well. She talks about affirmations which heal including, “All is well”; “Only good will come of this”; “Everything is working out for my highest good”; and “I am safe.” This is Part 1 of the conversation, and we air this in her honor. Would you like to know more about the ways we are all interconnected? How can we remain connected to our loved ones on the Other Side? Lisa continues the conversation today with renowned spiritual teacher, medium, and best-selling author Suzanne Giesemann. A former U.S. Navy Commander and aide to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, today she shares “21st Century Spirituality®”, merging the latest scientific understanding about Consciousness with ancient spiritual wisdom. Suzanne discusses her latest book, “Making the Afterlife Connection: The Journey from Doubt to Knowing that Death is Not the End.” Suzanne talks about various practices to greater connect including “SIP with the Divine.” This is just a 3-minute practice where you sit in silence and see if an insight happens. Any answer you seek is accessible. It's called “SIP” as it stands for “Sit In Peace.” You are training yourself to notice your thoughts and feelings. This becomes a habit to really be present. In this way, you are also creating more space, which allows for better connection to your Higher Self, loved ones, and the Divine. When we are in a state of meditation and quietness, we can also ask our loved ones for a sign or for a message. This requires a level of discernment, but it's possible for them to share. You can ask for advice, a healing, or an answer. Suzanne explains how there's a reason that certain things may be veiled to us. She also talks about using your body to help you make decisions. Any tension in your heart or your gut means it may not be the best direction. The knowing is already in you. The answers are within us. Your soul already has a plan. Suzanne has written 15 books including “The Awakened Way - Making the Shift to a Divinely Guided Life.” Her latest documentary is “Wolf's Message,” based on the true story of a man named Wolf who was also struck and killed by lightening. He contacted Suzanne through the spirit world. This is Part 2 of the interview. Info: SuzanneGiesemann.com and TheAwakenedWay.org.

How do we stay centered and grounded when we have to deal with the stress of the day-to-day? We may have moments of clarity and spirituality, but how can we take this connection with us wherever we go? We can easily read an upsetting news story or get stuck in traffic or long lines at the store, and we can lose sight of our spirit. According to our guest today, writer Polly Campbell, it's a matter of being aware of what triggers us. This is life. Upsets can come into our reality all the time, yet we can learn to move more gracefully and maintain spiritual balance. Polly found herself with major challenges at one point with a diagnosis of cancer. She became angry. She realized she had stepped away from her spiritual practice, but once she noticed that, she could correct it. Having a child, as well as a full-time job, as so many people do, she decided she would find other ways to pray and be more spiritual. She suggests praying in the shower and being mindful while folding laundry. She talks about being silent in the car and experiencing the quiet, rather than listening to music or talking on the phone. She also suggests we go into a state of gratitude as often as we can. When paying bills, rather than getting stressed, be thankful that you can pay. If you see a stain on the carpet, rather than being upset, be grateful for the house and the rug. It's a matter of not putting thoughts in negative places or going into a heavy mindset. This disconnects us. Rather than going into pain, we can be mindful. When we feel better, we can make a difference that will help to shift us and eventually the world. There are simple practices we can do that connect us to peacefulness and stillness. Mindfulness practices can be done in just a few minutes. We can stop, take a breath, and give ourselves a hug. This small movement helps us release stress. It changes us physically and emotionally. It reconnects us to ourselves and can take us out of negativity. Polly talks about her book, “Imperfect Spirituality: Extraordinary Enlightenment for Ordinary People.” Her articles on personal development topics and spiritual practices appear regularly in national publications and blogs. She is also a professional speaker who inspires and energizes audiences with a blend of wit and wisdom. The spiritual practices and personal development strategies she offers have also helped her cope with chronic illness. Her small tips and easy practices can help us move into a more positive place. You have probably heard that “We are all one” or that “We are all connected.” Would you like to know more about what this interconnectedness means? Would you like to learn more about Mediumship and how we remain connected to loved ones on the Other Side? Our guest today is renowned spiritual teacher, medium, and best-selling author Suzanne Giesemann. A former U.S. Navy Commander and aide to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, today she shares “21st Century Spirituality®”, merging the latest scientific understanding about Consciousness with ancient spiritual wisdom. Suzanne discusses her latest book, “Making the Afterlife Connection: The Journey from Doubt to Knowing that Death is Not the End.” Lisa talks about her groundbreaking Near Death Experience which occurred after a traumatic brain injury due to a severe bike accident. She experienced the feeling of Oneness and asked Suzanne if we must always have a traumatic situation to access these realms. Suzanne describes this as a wake-up call. She further discusses her work as a Medium and provides stunning evidence of our essential interconnectedness. She teaches proven methods that anyone can use to connect with the many levels of our multidimensional reality. She didn't access these gifts until after the unexpected death of her daughter from a lightening strike. As a result of Suzanne trying to find her in the spirit world, she has since touched millions of people globally with what she learned and with her message of Oneness. Her abilities have opened up so much more. She realized that death is not the end. We continue on as souls. The end of each chapter of her book teaches ways and practices to make the connection with the afterlife. She specifically sat and got quiet. She wanted to connect with Susan, her daughter. It took her three years to “find her” in the spirit world. During this time, she learned automatic writing and met her spirit guides. Anyone, no matter your path, can connect with guides and Source. There are systems to learn this, and we all can, if we come from the heart, with the right intentions. We all have these gifts. Suzanne has written 15 books including “The Awakened Way - Making the Shift to a Divinely Guided Life.” Her latest documentary is “Wolf's Message,” based on the true story of a man named Wolf who was also struck and killed by lightening. Would you like to understand how your furry companions are feeling? Would you like to better communicate with them and other creatures? According to our guest today, animal communication expert Amelia Kinkade, animals have thoughts, feelings, emotions and readily communicate, both among themselves and with us. Amelia discusses how she developed her gift and how you too might be able to develop the ability to communicate with your animal friends, whether they are winged, finned, scaled, or furred. Amelia also discusses how animals are being exploited in different areas of the world and how hunters are spending exorbitant amounts of money for trophy animals in Africa. She has various animal charity events where she's raising awareness of these practices and also teaching people how to understand what animals are thinking and feeling. She explains that you can learn to use your body as an instrument. This is a meditative process involving silencing your mind, so there's no negativity, no inner dialogue. This prepares you to be able to sit in silence with another animal. Be in awe of the animal's grace. Be in gratitude. Then you can be in communication. She discusses how our animals can take on our problems and diseases. There is one enormous field, and we are all connected. When something gets out of balance, our cells are not communicating. This can reflect in our animals as well. The concept of harmony and communication between all living things can happen in this field of higher vibration. Amelia also discusses what animals worldwide think about humans. Amelia has been listed in The 100 Top Psychics in America. A full-time animal communicator, she is sought by veterinarians, animal rescue organizations, and animal lovers all over the world. Amelia is the author of numerous books including “Aurora's Secret” and “Straight From the Horse's Mouth: How to Talk to Animals and Get Answers.” Amelia's true passion is assisting animal rescue organizations in Africa who create safe havens for relocated tigers, lions, White Lions, elephants, cheetahs, Great White sharks, penguins, baboons, and even bats and snakes. Lisa continues the conversation today with award-winning healer and mentor Ariya Lorenz. Her mission is to connect people to their higher selves. Ariya is a manifestation coach who helps people move energy and clear obstacles. She explains that we can direct energy toward manifestation. We can intend the quality of our experiences. Ariya further talks about raising your vibration to the ultimate point of unconditional love. Our Higher Self can directly connect with us when we are in that state. James also shares his experiences in Iraq and with Saddam Hussein. He held a peace concert and found people coming together in music. He discovered that they had much more in common and could heal their differences. People around the world were also meditating for peace and miracles occurred. If this can happen in war-torn circumstances, we can learn how to be peaceful toward people with differing beliefs. James is an Episcopal Franciscan and Anglican priest. His latest book is “I Don't Know, Maybe, I Love You: How to De-Polarize Your Family, Business, Country and the World.” This is Part 2 of the interview. What if your emotions and intentions affected those around you? With all of the scientific research on connectivity and oneness, why do we still live our lives like we are completely separate from one another? If we are truly one, would you like to tap into this worldwide grid? Our guest today is Dr. Dean Radin, Senior Scientist at the Institute of Noetic Sciences, where he researches consciousness and psychic phenomenon. He is also an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Psychology at Sonoma State University. Dr. Radin explains the study of random number generators and how our intentions can affect the findings. When groups of meditators focus their thoughts on a specific goal, this attention causes the randomness to become orderly. Dr. Radin discusses how mind and matter are related, and when the mind becomes laser-focused on something, it can cause change to occur. For planned events, such a million-person meditation, they have very strong statistical evidence that shows non-random behavior. In these experiments, you can see the nature of “mass mind.” He further explains how mind and matter are linked together. He has researched psychic phenomenon and telepathy. This is some form of interconnectedness, which is now recognized in quantum physics. We can all tap into this powerful connectedness and use it for a force of good. Dr. Radin is the author of “Entangled Minds” and “The Conscious Universe.” For more than three decades he has been engaged in research on the frontiers of consciousness. He has held appointments at Princeton University and several Silicon Valley think tanks, including SRI International, where he worked on classified programs investigating psychic phenomena for the U.S. government. Do you find yourself with opposing viewpoints and arguing with your family, friends, or neighbors? Do people seem more hostile? Are you tired of all of the division in this world? Is it possible to “agree to disagree”? According to today's guest James Twyman, there IS a way to get along. James is known as a “Peace Troubadour” as he has united millions of people around the world with his music and messages of peace. His latest book is “I Don't Know, Maybe, I Love You: How to De-Polarize Your Family, Business, Country and the World.” The title came about when he was arguing with his brother on the phone during Covid. At a particularly heated moment, James said to his brother, “I don't know. Maybe. I love you, brother.” He realized this could be a way to de-escalate the disagreement. James talks about attending an international Peace Conference held by the Pope in which many different religious leaders were invited to express their own prayers of peace from their faith. James then turned each of the prayers into songs. He explains that there is a magic when you combine prayers with music. He's written 24 books and numerous songs and albums for the past several decades. He talks about the “pandemic of being right” and how difficult it is to communicate. It seems so challenging to “talk to the other side,” but if we go into compassion and love, it becomes possible. We cannot allow differing opinions to separate us. If we can just listen to one another, maybe we can come to an understanding. We are here to love one another. We can let go of the addiction to being right. He also talks about the teachings of Saint Francis, as he himself is an Episcopal Franciscan and Anglican priest. During the time of Saint Francis, it was also highly divisive. Saint Francis talked about how the real message of Christ is to love one another. He learned from the Islamic religious leaders and brought that back to Italy. We don't have to make people wrong just because their beliefs and opinions are different from ours. We can be genuinely curious and listen to one another. He asks us to consider the possibility that we can actually learn from one another. We have a choice and can be kind to each other. We can always find things that we agree upon.
