Dallon Weekes is here on Roadcase this week, and I'm excited to share my interview with this veteran performer and experienced touring artist.  Dallon began his career in Salt Lake City with his band, the Brobecks, and then spent years with Panic! At The Disco before settling on most recent project, I DON'T KNOW HOW BUT THEY FOUND ME (iDKHOW). Dallon is an intriguing mix of artistry, family man, and musical sage, if you will -- and has a keen wit and fun-loving personality.  I had a great time chatting with Dallon and we cover a ton of ground including his attitudes towards mental health and his experience a parent of teenagers. It's a fun and unique trip through the extraordinarily creative and uber-sharp mind of Dallon Weekes, and I'm here for it.  Check it out on this week's Roadcase!! For more information on Roadcase: https://linktr.ee/roadcasepod and https://www.roadcasepod.comOr contact Roadcase by email:  info@roadcasepod.comRoadcase theme music:  "Eugene (Instrumental)" by Waltzer

Ryan Seaman and Friends

This week I have Dallon Weekes and myself go over the play by play of the album Razzmatazz. I try to get into his brain to see how he's come up with the songs and how they finally came to life. This is a repeated episode that aired 2 years ago, but I wanted to bring it to all the digital platforms so everyone can hear the band dynamic.

This week's guest is everybody's favorite drummer, Ryan Seaman. Ryan has been on my wishlist of guests for a while now and surprisingly enough, we were finally able to work it out on the road when it's the hardest time to schedule people! Anyways, Ryan has played with so many amazing artists throughout his career, especially in the punk rock scene, but his current project is called I Don't Know How But They Found Me (often just called iDKHOW) featuring himself and Dallon Weekes. Ryan is a one of the most likable guys out there and I look up to him AND how he's navigated his career in so many ways. I know I say this about every guest, but I really enjoyed this chat. Ryan and I have a lot in common when it comes to our background as drummers and it was just an easy chat. Go check out his band iDKHOW…they're awesome and he's the kind of person you want to see succeed. Alright, please enjoy my chat with Ryan about the 5 records that shaped him into the player he is today. Cheers! I DON'T KNOW HOW BUT THEY FOUND ME singer-songwriter Dallon Weekes talks with Kyle Meredith about the band’s debut LP, Razzmatazz. Weekes tells us about the breakthrough single “Leave Me Alone” being inspired by Bowie, Prince, and Don Henley, growing up on the Gen X / Millennial line, and the importance of keeping the band a bit mysterious. He also talks about theatrics and the beauty of a spoken word bridge. The former Panic At the Disco member also hints at a possible graphic novel in the works with DC Comics and how he plans to work all of the high concept into the live show. Episode 253 - I Don't Know How But They Found Me frontman Dallon Weekes joins the show! After having underground and critical success with Utah's The Brobecks, Dallon found himself in Panic! At The Disco, a band he performed and wrote in for 8 years. As that started to become a grind, Dallon started IDKHOW with Falling in Reverse drummer (and great dude) Ryan Seaman. At first the band played only in secret, until the hype got so big they both took the plunge and decided to do IDKHOW exclusively. Now, after 3 years of touring success, and a few EP's and singles, IDKHOW has released their first full length album - "Razzmatazz" - which is already popping up on album of the year lists all over the place. We talk about his upbringing, his time in P!ATD, and how they are coping with releasing their first album during a pandemic. Brought to you by ConvertKit!
