Sharina Simnett has been one of the biggest supporters of Ready or Not. Loz and I have shared many a conversation with her in our DMs, she's always the first to leave a comment on Substack, she often checked in at the time that she was looking for work that actually worked alongside motherhood, and, once she landed her dream role at Yoto, she brought us our most meaningful partnership to date, too. So when Yoto wanted to work with Ready or Not again, it became immediately obvious to Loz and I to get Sharina on to share her story with burnout, motherhood, how she judged mums in the workplace before she became one, and what's surprised her as someone who was career-obsessed before kids. Here, we cover how much her relationship with ambition has changed, the anxiety that came with a severe period of burnout, how she defines success now, the hack that means work life doesn't bleed too much into parenting life, and what she'd go back and tell her pre-motherhood self about the journey she has embarked on.Got a question for Dear Ready or Not? In this episode of Ideologees, host Mister Mark G and co-host Roger sit down with Loz, a former British Army officer and the lead of "Nation of Sleepers". From the front lines of Iraq and Afghanistan to the internal struggle of PTSD, Loz shares a raw, first-hand account of war and what he describes as the "traitorous" nature of the political class. We dive deep into: The Veteran Experience: The reality of deployment in Helmand Province and the feeling that the military "discards" soldiers once they are no longer useful. Globalist Influence: Analyzing the role of the World Economic Forum and the perceived shift toward a Chinese-style "social credit" governance in the West. National Identity: Loz discusses his petition for Keir Starmer's resignation and his call for a shared British value system that transcends ethnicity. Healing & Faith: How a "voice" in the heat of battle saved Loz from an explosion and led him toward a connection with a higher power. Survivor AU: Redemption Finale Check-in w/ Shannon Guss Australian Survivor: Redemption is back for a final showdown as hosts Mike Bloom and Shannon Guss dig deep into one of the wildest Survivor endgames yet. Mike and Shannon explore the chaos of the finale—from jaw-dropping strategic gambles to heartfelt moments at Tribal Council. Why would a player risk a sure win for a more dangerous path—and is taking your toughest rival to the end ever a smart play? Mike and Shannon break down Caleb's shocking decision to face Jackson instead of Loz at the end, debating if boldness or blunder really paid off. They unpack the domino effect of alliance shifts, with every episode's “majority” seemingly giving away their numbers, and examine the unpredictable flow of post-merge gameplay. The duo zeroes in on how jury relationships and raw social reads shaped the outcome, especially when Mark's Tribal Council speeches pushed the finalists to reveal their true games. Caleb's final three move sparks fierce debate: smart social play or unnecessary risk? Loz’s loyalty and the case for playing “passive” when it gets you closer to the win. Jury dynamics take center stage as Mark helps steer questioning—and maybe even the final vote. Chaotic swaps, self-defeating flips, and the surprising strength of “invisible” contestants at camp. Reunion highlights: an open-air Sydney finale, Survivor family moments, and even a few accidental bridge crossings. Does risking your entire game for a big resume move make sense—or does it just make for good TV? How much do jurors value loyalty, moves, or likeability when it's time to vote for the winner? Dive in for sharp analysis and lively debate on every twist and turn—plus which castaways walked away with the Chizzy points. Survivor AU: Redemption Episode 23 Recap Australian Survivor: Redemption is back with another wild episode, and hosts Mike Bloom and Pooya dig deep into the penultimate Tribal Council shocker. This week, an unexpected vote at the final three flips the entire game on its head, pushing jury management, loyalty, and endgame strategy to the limit. The podcast unpacks Caleb's stunning blindside of Loz, just moments after he credits her for keeping him in the game, a decision that leaves both the jury and viewers in shock. Mike and Pooya walk through the intense final immunity challenge, as Jackson nearly collapses, physically and emotionally, before a heartfelt reunion with his mom. Meanwhile, Loz’s exit is filled with frustration and self-doubt, and the hosts debate her chances if she had taken a different path. The jury's evolving perspective is dissected in real time, with speculation on how each juror might vote given the season's twists, blindsides, and fractured alliances. – Caleb's argument for cutting Loz: Is jury sympathy for underdogs too risky to face? – The brutal immunity challenge leaves Jackson drained—can he use the sympathy to fuel a big Tribal pitch? – Loz's transparent gameplay and emotional confessionals spark debate: strong social play or a missed strategic mark? – Jury reads dominate: Will respect for big moves outweigh the bitterness of betrayal? – Mike and Pooya break down all possible jury vote scenarios, setting the stage for a razor-close finish. Can Caleb's gambit deliver him the title, or did he just hand Jackson a million-dollar lifeline? The final showdown is set, but the jury's decision looms large. Survivor AU: Redemption Episode 22 Recap Australian Survivor: Redemption is back for the season's final week, with Mike Bloom and Chappell breaking down all the unpredictable drama. This time, a polarizing fire-making decision shakes up the game and has everyone asking what Loz was thinking by giving Caleb one more shot to burn his way into the Final 3. Is this endgame all chaos or careful gameplay? As the finale nears, the remaining castaways' intentions are under a microscope. Loz' surprising choice to send Caleb and Sally to fire-making, despite front-runner threats, stuns both the camp and the jury. The hosts dig deep into why Loz would willingly put a strong competitor in the best seat, and whether it's loyalty, misread alliances, or pure emotional decision-making driving her. The scramble to secure Final 2 spots raises big questions about resume-building: Is making “big moves” worth it if it tanks your win chances? Meanwhile, the shifting alliances and last-ditch deals see Jackson and Sally scrambling while Caleb holds firm, keeping the jury, and audience, guessing. Why Loz' decision to force fire-making could be a game-ending misstep or misunderstood genius. Jackson's immunity win changes the balance: Does it save him or only make his path harder? Jury perception is everything: How do big moves look from the jury bench, and what is actually respected? The value (or risk!) of loyal Final 2 deals versus blindsiding your closest ally. Chappell's and Mike's picks for Chissy Points: Who really came out on top this week? Heading into the big endurance challenge and the push to Final Tribal, the table is set for blindsides, heartbreak, and maybe a little mayhem. Will sticking to your heart pay off, or is flashy gameplay still king? Check out Peace Corps: https://peacecorps.gov/serve Never miss a minute of RHAP's extensive Global Survivor coverage! David Genat’s Front Row Seat to the Chaos of Survivor AU Redemption Australian Survivor Redemption host David Genat joins Rob Cesternino to break down the wildest season of Australian Survivor yet. The former Golden God, and now show host, joins Rob to break down the most unpredictable moments of this season's Australian Survivor. With the season's “Redemption” theme front and center, this episode dives into returnees' big moves, surprise underdog rises, and a post-merge that's all about shifting loyalties and secret plans. Did giving the underdogs the “passenger” label actually unite them and spell doom for the returning big dogs? Rob and David walk through the chaos of Tribal Councils, where whispering, live negotiations, and even a creative (but illegal) “two rocks” bluff from Simon left everyone scrambling. They spotlight how key players like Keeley, Ben, Sally, and Jackson stepped into power, sometimes with wild moves like selfless idol plays or near-miss advantage errors. The pair also pull back the curtain on what it's like to host Survivor as a former player, especially when friends like Brooke are on the line, and every torch snuff has emotional weight. Did the passenger strategy backfire, allowing new faces to seize control when it mattered most? Fun behind the scenes moments with idol mechanics, torch snuffing, and the challenges of setting your own host style. Concrete breakdowns of how the final four, Sally, Loz, Jackson, and Caleb, found their paths to the end, and what could matter at final Tribal. Theories on leadership vacuums, chaotic Tribals, and why Ben's late-game rise and Keeley's idol game made them must-watches. Production insights into how live reunions and social games shape the biggest moments in Australian Survivor. With the finale around the corner, who can own their big move at Tribal and convince the jury they played the best game? Survivor AU: Redemption Episode 21 Recap w/ Laura Noonan Australian Survivor: Redemption is back with host Mike Bloom and guest Laura Noonan (from Brains v Brawn 2) diving into the penultimate week's action. The final five know the million-dollar finish line is just days away—and the gameplay is getting desperate, strategic, and emotional. This episode's focus: how a high-stakes idol negotiation at Tribal Council leaves one of the season's biggest threats blindsided, and why resume-building pressures suddenly change the path to the end. With Keely and Jackson on the bottom, all eyes are on Sally and Loz as swing votes—and as contestants scrambling to add last-minute “big moves” to their resumes before the jury makes a call. When Sally convinces Keely to hand over her half idol in a dramatic tribal exchange, a tense, jury-watching moment unfolds: will Sally play it for Keely, side with her, or send her home empty-handed? Meanwhile, Loz secretly plots a move against Caleb but pulls back under heat, leaving tribal lines and trust in flux. Host Mike and Laura break down compelling camp scenes, from coded idol talk and shifting alliances to why this jury phase rewards the player who makes the first move but punishes those who blink. Key moments you don't want to miss: Sally's high-drama idol handover with Keely: game move or jury performance? Keely's exit shakes the jury—does leaving salty cost votes or earn respect? Loz eyes a Caleb blindside but faces timing and trust dilemmas. Big-move paranoia sweeps Loz and Sally—can they pull off a power shift, or will they be outmaneuvered? Caleb's subtle fire-stoking keeps his name off the chopping block, for now. Who seizes control as Tribal looms, and which desperation move backfires? Will Loz or Sally find the right moment to break from the pack—or does sitting next to each other doom their chances? Catch the full analysis for inside reads on idols, vote splits, and which castaways outwit—and outplay—heading into the final showdown of Australian Survivor: Redemption. Survivor AU: Redemption Episode 20 Recap Australian Survivor: Redemption is in total chaos! Mike Bloom and Chappell are here to break it all down! In this today's recap, alliances shatter and the vote gets wild, as the fallout from the infamous rock draw leads straight to the shocking blindside of “Candid Cameron.” It's Easter, but the only hunt on the beach is for hidden logic and missing alliance trust. Mike and Chappell revisit the Tribal Council where Cameron's endless strategizing, and a few too many confessional quips, turn his allies against him. Social annoyance and reward choices (remember the IKEA debacle?) push old bonds to the limit, with Loz feeling particularly spurned. Meanwhile, Keeley cements her status as a threat by outlasting everyone on an epic immunity challenge, forcing a reset among the power players. The returnees aren't immune to drama either: Brooke's messy half-idol reveal at Tribal shakes up the pecking order, and old allies start to seem less and less loyal. The group debates reward etiquette (“Is breakfast really in bed?”) while new cracks in the majority alliance signal there's no safe path ahead. Why Cameron's chatter finally tipped him from goat to target, a wild exit for a wildcard player The shifting sand of alliance trust: What does rock draw solidarity really mean if you flip at Final 8? Brooke's half-idol play: Secret weapon, or just more chaos? How one reward pick poisoned more than the jury Keeley’s big immunity win puts a new face in the crosshairs Can anyone regain control or will the next vote blow the game wide open again? Tune in as Mike and Chappell dig into shifting strategies, wavering loyalties, and all the unpredictable fun of Australian Survivor: Redemption.
