The town was not called Byzantium. The Ministry named it during the first meeting. “It's not a colony,” Thomas James would have said if he could, but the office was hot and bright, the sun in the windows, in his eyes. He felt like he was surrounded by faceless figures even though there were only two other people in the room. The town they were talking about was located between worlds. The entrance was in the remains of Ooldea, out on the edge of The Nullarbor Plain. | ©2023 by Benjamin Peek. Narrated by Stefan Rudnicki.

Today on the Rarified Heir Podcast, we are talking to Deanna Brown-Thomas, whose father was none other than Mr. Dynamite aka, The Godfather of Soul aka “The Hardest Working Man in Show Business”. We are of course talking about the legendary James Brown. When Deanna agreed to be a guest on the podcast we had no idea just how honest and forthcoming she would be talking about her father. In fact, she used the word ‘transparency' and that's exactly what our interview was like. Outspoken, honest, joyful and genuine, Deanna spoke to us about everything from what it was like meeting (or perhaps being set up with) Eddie Murphy backstage as an adult to meeting Soul Train host Don Cornelius on camera as a four year old. As we discussed on this episode, there were very few entertainers who were as well-known across the world other than James Brown and we dig into it. We also learned of James Brown 75/25 rule about show business which frankly was a life lesson we should all learn from. For a man who was known for his explosive live act, it was the school of hard knocks that made him learn that without the business, there was no show. When you work as hard as James Brown did onstage, you better believe, it was taken care of offstage. We also spoke about Deanna's career in radio, in running the James Brown Family Foundation and the James Brown Academy of Music Pupils in Augusta, Ga which provides musical education for local school children as well as a James Brown tour – the only one you can see in the world. We also learned about the James Brown estate which Deanna was very, yes transparent about.. We also discussed James Brown's role in the civil rights movement, his love of Jazz, his ownership of radio stations, what it was like behind the scenes and one subject we like to talk about - life on the road. It's sometimes not all it's cracked up to be. In fact, you might find yourself ordering room service instead of attending an afterparty on the road with her dad. You'll have to listen for yourself. Deanna was a fantastic guest, a warm and frank person who wasn't afraid to ‘go there'. So take a listen, to this episode of the Rarified Heir Podcast and you'll see what we are talking about.

Jared Polis laid out his vision to tackle the state's sky-high housing prices - including proposals to roll back building regulations, open public land to affordable housing development, and support innovations such as pre-built units.Polis, a Democrat re-elected in November, also touched on efforts to combat climate change, lower the state income tax, measures to reduce crime, and expanded education funding.Polis, the first openly gay governor in the U.S., starts his second term after a shooting at a Colorado Springs gay nightclub in November left five dead and has renewed calls by Democrats to enact stricter gun regulations.Looking down from the gallery were Richard Fierro and Thomas James, two patrons who tackled the shooter inside the club, as Polis read the names of those killed, asked for a moment of silence and nodded towards concerns around “spiraling hate speech.”Polis addressed gun violence but largely skirted Democrat proposals that included raising the minimum age to buy guns and potentially banning assault weapons.Polis told reporters after his address. “We are happy to discuss other ideas about how we can improve gun safety in Colorado and honor our Second Amendment rights," Polis lauded government intervention on housing, citing a ballot measure that Coloradans passed in November that dedicates an estimated $300 million annually to affordable housing. Polis said he also plans to “aggressively” free up parcels of state-owned land for low-income units.Polis gave his speech — which referenced everything from electric vehicle tax credits to "The Lord of the Rings” character Gandalf the Grey — after securing almost 60% of the vote in a state where Independent voters are one-third of the electorate. Polis's appeal has stirred rumors of a future presidential run.“Our state might be shaped like a square but the political pundits can't put us in a box,” Polis said. “We are a state that just this year voted to once again cut income taxes, while legalizing magic mushrooms.”Jesse Bedayn is a corps member for the Associated Press/Report for America Statehouse News Initiative. Democrats enjoy large majorities in both legislative chambers.House Speaker Julie McCluskie, a Democrat from Dillon, said “This session, we'll pass legislation to protect our water and air, invest in our schools, improve public safety, and make our state more affordable. Our first five bills are just the beginning, and we're excited to get to work building a Colorado where everyone can thrive,” In the House, the first five bills center on education investments, health care costs, mental health, language accessibility and water efficiency.House Bill 23-1001 would expand the eligibility for financial assistance and loan forgiveness for educators to address the state's teacher shortage. It is sponsored by Democratic Reps. Cathy Kipp of Fort Collins and Barbara McLachlan of Durango and Sen. Rachel Zenzinger of Arvada.House Bill 23-1002 would create an EpiPen affordability program for people who do not have health insurance. Dylan Roberts, an Avon Democrat.House Bill 23-1003 would form a mental health assessment program for Colorado youth in order to identify student mental health concerns and direct them to resources. It would be available in public schools for students in sixth through 12th grades. It is sponsored by Rep. Dafna Michaelson Jenet, an Aurora Democrat, and Sen. Lisa Cutter, a Littleton Democrat. In the Senate, the first five bills introduced involve housing, health care costs, education and workforce development for mental health and forestry professionals. The bill is sponsored by Roberts, Zenzinger, Rep. Shannon Bird, a Westminster Democrat, and Rep. Meghan Lukens, a Steamboat Springs Democrat.Senate Bill 23-2 would direct the state to seek federal authorization for Medicaid reimbursement for community health worker services. The bipartisan bill is sponsored by McCluskie, Sen. Kyle Mullica, a Federal Heights Democrat, Sen. Cleave Simpson, an Alamosa Republican, and Rep. Mary Bradfield, a Colorado Springs Republican.Senate Bill 23-3 would create the Colorado Adult High School Program for adults to earn a high school diploma at no cost and enter the workforce. The program would include transportation support and child care. The bill is sponsored by Sen. Janet Buckner, an Aurora Democrat, Sen. Bob Gardner, a Colorado Springs Republican, and Rep. Mike Weissman, an Aurora Democrat. Two bills focus on the workforce shortage in our schools and in our forests. Here's what you need to know. The parent application for Colorado's new free preschool program opened yesterday— a major milestone in the march toward the program's launch next summer. The program, funded in part by a voter-approved nicotine tax, will offer 10 to 15 hours a week of tuition-free preschool to 4-year-olds statewide, with some eligible for 30 hours a week. In addition, some 3-year-olds will be eligible for 10 hours a week early childhood education.Families who fill out the application by Feb. 14, will find out what preschool their child matched with on March 10.State officials expect about 30,000 children to opt into the universal preschool program in its first year. That's about half the number that will be eligible. SO: Who gets free preschool and what age do they have to be?Three groups of children qualify: all 4-year-olds, some 3-year-olds who need extra help, and a small number of 5-year-olds who are too young for kindergarten. The goal is for kids to be more prepared for kindergarten. Some 4-year-olds will get 30 hours of free preschool a week, including those from lower-income families, kids who speak a language besides English at home, are homeless, in foster care, or have disabilities. The new preschool program will also cover 10 hours a week of preschool for 3-year-olds in these same groups. What's involved in the application? Are there income requirements? Many families will need about 15 minutes and not much else. The application is offered in English, Spanish, and Arabic, and parents should be able to complete the application on a cell phone or computer. Families that earn up to 270% of the federal poverty limit — about $81,000 a year for a family of four —will need to upload documents that prove their income. Can I pick my child's preschool?Yes. Families will be asked to pick up to five preschools they'd like their child to attend and will be able to rank their choices. Options include school-based preschools, church-based preschools, preschool programs inside child care centers, and state-licensed home-based preschools. Children will be prioritized for a spot in a preschool if they're already enrolled there, if a sibling is enrolled there, or if a parent works there. When does free preschool start in Colorado?August or September of this fall, depending on the specific preschool. For more information check out upk.colorado.gov or you can also contact the state's help desk at 303-866-5223 Do you have a question you don't see answered here or can't find the answer to elsewhere? Katie Hobbs. Dubbed the Promise for Dreamers Scholarship Program, the $40 million dollar investment is  aimed at supporting undocumented students who've attended an Arizona high school for at least two years. Scholarships from the program help fund four years at one of the state's three public universitiesThe new scholarship program debuted in Hobbs' State of the State speech last week, where she billed it as an extension of Proposition 308 which allows DREAMERS to pay in-state tuition and access state-funded financial help. Reyna Montoya, who was part of the effort to pass Prop. 308 said that even though it improves access to higher education, but it doesn't resolve the inequality undocumented students face at the federal level. To fill out the FAFSA, which determines a student's eligibility for low-income loans and scholarships like the Pell Grant, citizenship is a requirement. If you're a low-income student, typically you have other supports, like the Pell Grant,” Montoya said. If you're a Dreamer, and you're getting ready to graduate from high school, you're not eligible. Even paying in-state tuition is going to be a steep challenge if you're trying to pay for school completely out of your own pocket.“Seeing the same heartache time after time — I get the chills to think that we can have different conversations with our students looking ahead. We don't have to tell them, ‘You're limited to these extremelydifficult pathways if you want to obtain an education,'” she said. Montoya is also hopeful that the scholarship will benefit the state's future by creating a more educated workforce and helping to mitigate labor shortages. Arizona is currently grappling with teacher vacancies and faces a projected nursing shortage by 2030. “This would really help us close a lot of the workforce gaps that we have in the state,” she said, adding: “It's in our benefit to see education as an investment rather than an expense.” Potential future benefits are a significant argument in favor of the scholarship, said Tyler Montague, chairman of the Yes on 308 campaign. “It's a big payback. Everybody that we get through college — as compared to just high school — makes $650,000 to $1 million more over their lifetime, and they're putting that money back into the economy. And they pay, on average, $380,000 more over their lifetime in taxes, which is a massive financial return,” he said, citing national studies. Also important to consider are the social returns that college grads provide, Montague added.  People who earn a college degree are less likely to incur social costs, and are more involved in their communities. Montague hopes that the Republican-majority legislature gives the scholarship fund a fair shot, and keeps in mind the support that voters gave Prop. 308 as an indicator for the consensus around aiding undocumented youth in the state. “I would hope that the legislature takes their cue from (308) and acts accordingly,” he said. The proposition passed with a narrow 51% majority, but the approval across party lines was widespread, with as many as 27% of Republicans and 54% of Independents voting yes. Still, while Arizona voters agreed to level the playing field in university tuition rates, some Republican leaders in the legislature are balking at opening up access to state-funded scholarships. “Gov. KATIE HOBBS in her State of State stated that she would like to invest $40 million to help pay for illegal immigrants to attend college in Arizona,” tweeted House Majority Leader Leo Biasiucci. “What about LEGAL citizens of Arizona or any other state?” Hobbs' budget proposal also includes an equivalent $40 million increase to the state's existing Arizona Promise Program, which she estimated on Monday could benefit as many as 10,000 more students. Last year, 4,000 students benefited. While the underlying legislation of Prop. 308 found bipartisan support, and was proposed by a Republican state senator, Hobbs' initiative may face an uphill battle in a statehouse with a more conservative bent to it. Enacting it through legislative channels isn't her only option; she could resort to issuing an executive order or negotiate with the Arizona Board of Regents, which oversees the state's universities. It's unclear, however, what path the governor's office will take; they did not respond to questions about what strategies it might consider to create the new scholarship fund.CONCERT PICK OF THE WEEK:Billy Strings has 3 sold out shows February 2, 3, and 4 at the 1st Bank Center in Broomfield.  At just 30 years old, Billy Strings is one of the most celebrated bluegrass musicians in America. Thomas James is a pastor in Northern Virginia, and has been working in some church/ministry capacity for almost 20 years. Over this time, he has tried to always practice good manners of self-care. However, like many of us the pandemic made it much more difficult to do so. Thomas and I begin our conversation talking about why the pandemic hit him so hard. Then we talk about Thomas need for some extended renewal leave, and the process he went through with the church he serves to ensure that he could have the time and space needed to have this time of renewal. Thomas took off 3 months. Hear all the things Thomas did during this time, and his difference in understanding between a sabbatical and renewal leave and why this differentiation was important for him. Thomas offers a perspective of how we can and should view opportunities of extended leave, and how we can have conversations with those around us in making those decisions to ensure that these times away from vocation are effective in what they can accomplish. http://fb.com/ThomasGJames (Thomas's Facebook page) https://twitter.com/ThomasGJames (@ThomasGJames on Twitter) https://wsumc.com (Thomas's Church's Website) Don't forget to join our Active Faith Community on Facebook to share your journey and encourage and support others in their active journeys as well. https://www.facebook.com/groups/999882660818141 (Active Faith Facebook Community) Find us @activefaithpod on Facebook and Instagram Support me and this podcast on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/runninrev (https://www.patreon.com/runninrev) Connect with Andrew: https://linktr.ee/runninrev (https://linktr.ee/runninrev) Background Music from Yevhen Lokhmatov, 'Race For Glory' http://www.melodyloops.com/tracks/race-for-glory/ (www.melodyloops.com/tracks/race-for-glory/) Granted permission to use this Music by Melody Loops and its licensees, including Andrew Ware.

Queens of the Mines features the authentic stories of gold rush women who blossomed from the camouflaged, twisted roots of California. These are true stories, with some of my own fabrication of descriptive details. It is recommended that you start this series from the first episode. In this episode of Queens of the Mines, we will meet a theatre and burlesque sensation with a secret past, who will reveal herself as California's 19th century Queen of Temptation. This is a true story, from America's Largest Migration, The Gold Rush. In  Berlin, 1843 in a cyclone of cigarette smoke and sexuality, Tsar Nikolai I of Russia and King Friedrich Wilhelm IV were indulging in a private dance from the seductive Spanish dancer and burlesque performer Donna Lola Montez. Lola Montez enchanted or appalled everyone she met. While Montez was there in Prussia, Prince Albrecht, the King's brother, soon took the showgirl as his lover for a wild affair. Yet, like her kind, Donna Lola Montez was more than normally vain, selfish, ruthless, and immoral and the seductress had eventually tired of the prince's company. One afternoon, she greatly embarrassed him publicly during a royal picnic. Humiliated, in front of the entire court, he demanded that she leave his realm.  “That's not such a long trip,” she said with sass as she turned dramatically towards her carriage and away she went, to Russia. Montez believed it was her destiny to be royalty, she wanted a castle. While in Russia, she was courted by one of the great magnates of St. Petersburg, Prince Schulkowski. Lola failed to secure her royal marriage with the Russian Prince and then  headed to France. In Paris Lola Montez began a relationship with the former English Hussar, Francis Leigh. Lola's jealous tendencies were less than to be desired, and she ended up running him off with a pistol in a rage. The preceding program features stories that contain adult content including violence which may be disturbing to some listeners, or secondhand listeners. So, discretion is advised.   Lola spent the following year in Paris, frequenting high-society saloons with the most fashionable bohemians of the day. There was something provoking and voluptuous about her. The purity of the dancer's white skin, her mouth like a budding pomegranate, blue eye tameless and wild, wavy bronze hair with dark shadows, like the tendrils of the woodbine curled almost childishly back from her face. Montez led the most extravagant lifestyle, and it was financed by the collection of wealthy men she had seduced.  In that year, she became the mistress of the author responsible for The Count of Monte Cristo and The Three Musketeers, Alexandre Dumas. As well as the famous Hungarian composer Franz Liszt. The composer fell deeply in love with her, so much so that he dedicated a sonata, a long piece of classical music to their love. She ended the year by marrying the part-owner of the French Newspaper La Presse, Charles Alexandre Dujarier. Months after the wedding, during a night of drunken gambling, her new husband offended a man and was killed in a duel. Lord Momsbury, the elderly and proper Englishmen had taken pity on Lola after her husband's death, and Montez as usual, took advantage of the kindness of her admirers. Lord Momsbury hosted a benefit concert for Lola, where she made connections there that would eventually lead to an engagement at her majesty's theatre in London and funded her further travels.   After the performance at Her Majesty's Theatre in London, Lola made her way back to Prussia. The following year, she found herself performing for the ageing King Ludwig I of Bavaria. After she performed a private burlesque performance for him, the King was intrigued. The robed man pointed inquiringly toward her well-formed bosom and he asked the woman, ‘Nature or art?' Lola responded by cutting open the front of her dress, exposing nature's endowment. The King instantly fell in love with Lola Montez.  He spoiled her rotten, and made her dream a reality when he gave the showgirl her own castle, with a pension. The King named her the Countess Marie von Landsfeld, but he personally called her Lolita. As Countess Marie von Landsfeld, Lola Montez was able to win support from the radical university students in Bavaria. However, the Bavarian aristocracy and even the middle class had refused to acknowledge her as Countess.  One general was even said to have declared, “I've never seen such a demon! She said I would see what a spirited woman could accomplish when she set all the levers of intrigue into motion. During her time in Bavaria, entire ministries had risen and fallen at the beautiful seductress' doing. Thousands gathered and rioted the streets, on February 7, 1848 demanding the expulsion of Lola Montez. The crowd echoed with the chanting, “down with the whore”. The King gave in to his people, and his Lolita had vanished to Switzerland then to London.  In London, George Trafford Heald her newest husband had bailed her out after an arrest. Heald put his hand on his wife's knee, in a weak attempt to comfort her. Lola hastily pulled it away, turning her body to the window, gazing at the scenery as they were approaching Madrid. He had by now had given up in the attempt to console the stubborn woman during the last hours of their journey.  He was only a British cavalry officer, but attracted the woman when he had received a large inheritance.  Heald was 20 to her 27, the age difference as well as Lola's notoriety scandalised his wealthy family. The life of royalty and great political influence was now three years behind her, and it was taking some getting used to. A decade before Heald and Montez were in that carriage, rolling into Madrid, on the same road, the young irish Eliza Rosanna was ready to start fresh and the culture there in Spain was new and exotic to her. Her father's regiment had been posted in India as a toddler, and he died of cholera when she was three and her mother was seventeen. Her mother married the Major John Craigie who was a general of the British army in India. They sent Eliza to a boarding school in England and when Eliza was 16 years old, she received word that she was to return to India. Her mother and step father had arranged her to marry a wealthy, 64-year-old judge.  On the passage to India, Eliza met a handsome, 30-year-old Irish lieutenant returning home on sick leave. His name was Thomas James. She nursed James back to health in his cabin during the voyage. The two of them did not remain in India long, and to avoid the arranged marriage, Eliza and Lieutenant Thomas James eloped and set off for Ireland. There, she soon found out that her new husband was a violent man and their scandalous marriage was ultimately unhappy. When James needed to rejoin his regiment in 1839, the couple returned, and her beauty made her the new toast of British India. A title previously held by her mother. While living in India, James strayed with the wife of another captain, Eliza saw it as an easy way out. She decided to leave him, and return to Britain. As the ship left the dock, a dashing army officer caught her eye. George Lennox, the grandson of the Duke of Richmond. Surrounded by peeping eyes,  their affair blossomed and the couple perhaps enjoyed putting on a show. The door of Lennox's cabin had swung open rather too often, revealing him lacing Eliza's corset or sitting on the bed, watching her rolling up her stockings. The Captain was so infuriated that he barred Eliza from George's table.  When they arrived in London, Lennox set Eliza up as his mistress and introduced her to several influential men. The news of her affair eventually made its way back to Thomas James and he sued her for divorce. Eliza lost everything in the separation on the ground of her adultery on a shipboard with another soldier, even though it was James who strayed first. The terms of the divorce prohibited neither party to remarry, as long as they were both living. The affair with Lennox did not last long, and he soon abandoned Eliza. She was left with no means of support. She now faced the dilemma that many 'fallen' women in that era faced, virtually unemployable as a governess or a lady's companion.  So, there Eliza Rosanna stood on the dusty street in Madrid, looking up and down the street in either direction, and then back into the window of the establishment where she was to begin studying dance that day. Mobs of men and horses pulling carts were barely dodging the brave nineteen year old girl. “That was then, and this is now,” she said out loud. Snubbing out a cigar in the dirt, she stood up tall, and walked in as if she owned the damn place.  HER MAJESTY'S THEATRE June 3, 1843 SPECIAL ATTRACTION! Mr. Benjamin Lumley begs to announce that, between the acts of the Opera, Donna Lola Montez will have the honour to make her first appearance in England in an Original Spanish dance. Mr. Benjamin Lumley sat with Lola in his office at Her Majesty's Theatre in London. "If you make a hit," he said, "you shall have a contract for the rest of the season. It all depends on yourself." Lola, smiled and nodded to the man. She wanted nothing better. As she left the managerial office, she felt as if she was treading on air. Lola stood at the wings, in a black satin bodice and flounced pink silk skirt she waited for her cue.  Lumley passed her one last time, giving her a nod of encouragement. "Capital," he said, rubbing his whiskers. "Most attractive. You'll be a big success, my dear."   The conductor lifted his baton, and she took in a deep breath. Everything had led up to this moment. The heavy curtains slowly were drawn aside and her heart began to race with excitement. Under a cross-fire of opera glasses, Lola bounded on to the stage and executed her initial pirouette. Her slender waist swayed to the music as she swept round the stage. Her graceful head and neck bent with it like a flower that bends with the impulse given to its stem by the fitful temper of the wind. There was a sudden hush at the finish of the number, she stepped up to the footlights and awaited the verdict. All was well, a storm of applause filled the air. Past the footlights, she could see Lumley from his place in the wings, he was beaming with approval. His enterprise would be greatly rewarded with the débutantes success. There was no doubt about it. Lola thought to the moment where she would sign her contract with him and Her majesty's Theatre.      Then, breaking her daydream, an ominous hiss suddenly split the air. It was coming from the occupants of Lord Ranelagh's stage box. The audience gasped in astonishment, and looking to Lord Ranelagh, he shouted, "Egad!" he exclaimed in a loud voice, "that's not Lola Montez at all. It's Eliza Rosanna James, an Irish girl who had committed adultery against Lieutenant Thomas James and vanished. Ladies and gentlemen, we're being properly swindled!"    Eliza, unable to remarry under her own name, had reinvented herself as a Spanish aristocrat's daughter with an imperious manner. Donna Lola Montez, well, Eliza Rosanna rushed behind the curtain in tears, the audience was in an uproar. She was left penniless, and Lola fled to Prussia, where she then bore all to King Ludwig 1 and became a Bavarian Countess.   Frontier pioneer Eliza Inman wrote in her journal in 1843, “If Hell laid to the west, Americans would cross Heaven to reach it.”   It looks like she was right. I am Andrea Anderson, thank you for taking the time to listen today. Let's meet again next time, as we continue the story of Lola Montez, theatre and burlesque sensation with a secret past, as she makes her way to California, On “Queens of the Mines. Queens of the Mines was written, produced and narrated by me, Andrea Anderson.  The theme song, In San Francisco Bay is by DBUK, You can find the links to their music, tour dates and merchandise, as well as links to all our social media and research links at queensofthemines.com   Before we start the episode, I would like to read this dedication written by Lola Montez in her book the Arts of Beauty. “To all men and women of every land, who are not afraid of themselves, who trust so much in their own souls that they dare to stand up in the might of their own individuality to meet the tidal currents of the world.”   You may remember Sam Brannan from the very first episode as the man who brought news of the discovery of gold to San Francisco, chanting, "Gold! Gold! Gold from the American River". When Brannan first arrived in 1846 on the ship Brooklyn, he was the leader of a Mormon colony who intended to start a self-sufficient colony with 238 Saints. His entourage of carpenters, blacksmiths, farmers, bakers and everything a community might need, doubled or tripled the population of San Francisco. He had brought a printing press and used it to publish San Francisco's first newspaper, the Alta. Sam Brannan and his people quickly jump-started the local economy in California, settling mormon island on the Sacramento Delta. Queens of the Mines features the authentic stories of gold rush women who blossomed from the camouflaged, twisted roots of California. These are true stories, with some of my own fabrication of descriptive details. It is recommended that you start this series from the first episode. In this episode, we continue and complete the story of Lola Montez, the burlesque sensation with a secret past who will reveal herself as California's 19th century Queen of Temptation. This is a true story, from America's Largest Migration, The Gold Rush. I am Andrea Anderson, and this is Queens of the Mines.

Tommy Beadel is the CEO of Thomas James Homes, the largest urban single lot homebuilder in the United States. This means he has about 200 custom homes being built throughout the Westside of Los Angeles at any given time in neighborhoods such as Brentwood, Palisades, Santa Monica, Westwood, Cheviot Hills, Beverlywood, Beverly Hills Post Office, Mar Vista and Culver City. These properties are generally selling for $2M to $7M which is a phenomenal value for a new home on the Westside of Los Angeles. The scale and efficiency of Thomas James Homes is unprecedented in the residential development industry. Their extraordinary success led them to partner with powerhouse Oaktree Capital who acquired Thomas James Homes in 2018. This allows TJH to accelerate their expansion plans into Silicon Valley, Seattle and other booming single family markets. From their humble beginnings, the ethos of this company has been to put the brokers first and always reward them by paying them a full fee and giving them the listing on any deals they bring to the table. This respect and loyalty towards brokers has allowed Thomas James Homes to scale into the unique custom home building juggernaut they are today.
