It's the month of May in Indianapolis and that means it is time for the Indianapolis 500! So, for this show, we wanted to have an IndyCar theme! First up on the show is Michael Pearson from Daredevil Brewing. Michael is the Head Brewer and co-founder of Daredevil Brewing and he came on the show to talk about his Race Day Lager. If you don't know the story behind Daredevil Brewing, then this is the show for you! Plus he brought us several different kinds of beer for us to try and sample during the show! In the last segment, we were lucky enough to track down Spencer Pigot, IndyCar driver for Juncos Racing and Ed Carpenter Racing. Spencer is one of the rising stars on the IndyCar circuit and he's getting ready to run in his second career Indy 500 on Sunday. On Sunday he'll be driving for Juncos Racing, a team he knows very well as they helped him rise through the ranks from the Pro Mazda Series to the Indy Lights. Be sure to watch for him on Sunday!

Daredevil Brewing and Flat 12 Bierwerks announce major expantions. Upland is rebranding and two new breweries announce plans to open this year. We've got the guys from Daredevil Brewing Company tasting and talking about the beer featured at their anniversary beer dinner at Black Market. Thanks to Michael Pearson, Shane Pearson and Bill Ballinger for taking the time to talk with me for a few minutes on a very busy and exciting night. Congratulations to Daredevil on their first year!

We sat down this past week and tasted some of the local options for Holiday seasonal beers! Don't be fooled, these aren't your typical Christmas ales, but instead some solid offerings from Bloomington Brewing Co., Daredevil Brewing, Powerhouse Brewing, Flat 12, Sun King Brewing and Upland Brewing Co.

Last night, I had the chance to sit down with several friends and taste of bunch of Holiday seasonal beer from Daredevil Brewing, Bloomington Brewing, Powerhouse, Flat 12, Sun King and Upland. And don't worry, we had the microphones on the entire time. We spent almost 2 1/2 hours talking and tasting, and as soon as I can get that edited down to a reasonable length, it'll be posted on our site, as well as Facebook and Twitter. Burn ‘Em Brewing out of Michigan City has passed their inspections and received the go ahead to brew. 18th Street Brewery is now open in Gary. Crown Brewing Chocolate Raspberry Java Porter and Chocolate Raspberry Java Milk Chocolate Stout are now on tap! Chaka is back and available now at your local liquor store. Epiphany, Oaken Barrel's Belgian Tripel is on tap, and it is available in 6 packs.
