Christmas Special: Sermon by Tony Johnson
The history of Christmas Trees may be a bit confusing, but the message is clear concerning God's own special tree!
Join us as Pastor Walt teaches about Jesus, the indescribable gift that God has given us,
"Prepare to be God's Instrument" God sent Gabriel to Israel, to Galilee, to Nazareth to Mary for one reason, to invite her to join Him in His great purpose. Do you believe God invites His people today? I contend that He does and we must respond to His invitation to experience God in all HIs glory. Are you His servant today?

Christmas Day Service, December 25, 2019 The darkness of our world is at times all too apparent with wars, violence around the world, strife in our own families, and in my own heart, too.To that darkness, the light of God incarnate (made flesh), the light of God-made-man came. He came to bring light and life. He came because of God’s great love in order to fix sin and dispel the darkness. The God of the universe came to live under his own law. He was born as a baby and had to grow and learn and mature. He came to live and to die because that was the way to break the hold darkness had on us and on the world. We have seen his glory. Let us live in the light of his Christmas love, now and forever.AmenPastor Nathan Kassulke

God's Christmas Letter (Romans 1:1-7) - 12/22/2019 by Divine Grace Lutheran Church
When we read the Word of God out loud, sometimes the Holy Spirit brings a passage to life in a whole new way. Romans 8 is not traditionally considered an Advent message, but when it's read aloud and set in the context of Christmas and why Jesus came in the first place, another layer of meaning emerges and a bigger glimpse of God's love for us appears. You're invited to sit back, close your eyes, and restfully seek His presence as you listen to this short, dramatic reading of selected verses from Romans 8 in The Passion Translation. Merry Christmas to all Glimmers in the Fog listeners! May you experience the gift of Jesus and the peace He offers in new ways this Advent season!

Kevin Church, banjo player in Aldersgate's Bluegrass Band, wrote this wonderful bluegrass gospel song for Christmas.
Have you ever been around someone who just didn't seem there at all? Like they were detached or had other things on their mind? On the flip side, how good does it make you feel when you are with someone special, whether your spouse, your mother or best friend? Just being in their presence makes everything better doesn't it? In our spiritual lives, the same thing is true. We need that close spiritual relationship with God. Each one of us needs the presence of God.

To many people, Christmas is simply thought of as a commercial event, a holiday "winter pageant", or a legal battle over Nativity displays. But for those who understand the true story, it's a celebration over God's gift to us--the birth of Jesus Christ--when God entered our world, took on our flesh, and would later die for our sins. This gift of God--Jesus Christ--is freely offered to all who would believe and receive Him. May you accept God's Christmas gift for you!
