LOST DREAMS, 10min., USA Directed by Andrew Wakeman Proctor Lost Dreams is about dreams. Scientists have not fully figured out dreams. The ancients believed you could predict the future through your dreams, Native Americans created dream-capturing devices. Some people keep dream diaries. Freud believed that we could fix people's psychological problems by analyzing their dreams. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt32021226/?ref_=ttawd_rvi_tt_i_4 Get to know the filmmaker: I took an experimental film class at Connecticut College. We studied the works of Maya Dern and Stan Brackage. I was inspired by Anticipation of the Night by Stan Brackage. In the fall of 2009 I received an email inviting me to submit a film to an Experimental film festival in Switzerland. My friend John Prevedini sent me his music “Lost Days” and it inspired “Lost Dreams”. Have you ever wondered why “Avatar: The Last Airbender” still resonates with fans, old and new alike? Join us as we reminisce on the timeless allure of this iconic series alongside our guests, Kokugatsu and Saitama Smash. We recount our personal cosplay escapades, the show's unparalleled storytelling, and how today's youth are just as captivated as we were. We even engage in a fun debate about whether “Avatar” qualifies as anime or American animation, and we land on the term "American anime."Our conversation goes deep, exploring the complex character arcs and the cultural impact of “Avatar.” We discuss initial character inspirations, critical behind-the-scenes decisions, and the themes of war, genocide, and free will that earned the show its numerous accolades. Delving into Aang's and Zuko's transformative journeys, we highlight how ethical firebending and Aang's commitment to non-violence shape their paths. With humor and insight, we ponder what-if bending scenarios and debate our favorite elemental powers. From Toph's groundbreaking metal bending to the emotional highs and lows of episodes like “Appa's Lost Days,” we leave no stone unturned. We dive into the significance of flames' colors and the psychological undertones of characters like Azula and Katara. Wrapping up with reflections on modern kids' exposure to mature content and the timeless humor of running gags like “My cabbages!,” we offer a heartfelt appreciation of one of the greatest animated series of all time. Tune in for a blend of nostalgic memories, thought-provoking commentary, and a celebration of “Avatar: The Last Airbender.”Text us for feedback and recommendations for future episodes!Support the Show.We thank everyone for listening to our podcast! We return to the 70's this episode to discuss Living Dead at Manchester Morgue (aka Let Sleeping Corpses Lie), as we take a break from the more recent zombie adventures from HBO and AMC. We have a month's worth of zombie news to go over, including a few cool zombie projects to highlight! There's a new audio drama anthology series called The Lost Days podcast, plus a cool Kickstarter for an ongoing zombie anthology comic called Outbreaks (ends March 31st). In Resident Evil 4 news, we discuss our time with the demo and Fortnite once again adapts the Resident Evil IP. Wrapping up the zombie news for this episode, we have our first look at the Daryl Dixon spinoff and Bruce Campbell is going on tour. The post ZAMP 287 – Many Titles of Manchester Morgue appeared first on Zombies Ate My Podcast.
Janet and Dante recover from “Appa's Lost Days” with the brilliant and hilarious Ron Funches! What better way to transition from the emotionally poignant Appa-centric episode of Book Two to the rest of the season? By taking a break with one of the funniest comedians around to focus on some of the joyful, silly, and especially funny moments of ATLA, with particular focus on the second season. You'll also hear from Ron about how he found both ATLA and TLOK, what he loves about the Avatarverse, and what YOU all told us were your favorite funny moments of Book Two. Plus: Ron makes his own fabulous suggestion for what we should call the listeners of Braving the Elements!See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
The wonderful Evanna Lynch (aka Luna Lovegood in “Harry Potter”) comes back to the podcast for “Appa's Lost Days!” Janet and Dante can't imagine a better guest to weather the heartache of this crucial and unique episode of ATLA, when we find out what happened from the moment Appa was taken away as Toph struggled to keep The Library from sinking in that eponymous episode. How many tissues will it take to absorb our tears as we talk through Appa's entrapment, horrible treatment, brave escape, and reunion with a gentle and much-needed friend? Get your own box of tissues ready, and find out!See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Nosso time de colonizados se junta para indicar e escutar músicas de jogos que, seja por qualquer motivo, estejam relacionadas ao terror, ao medo, às trevas. O que faz uma música ser assustadora? Its a bird! Its a plan! Its... an animated movie about superpowered animals that raises a lot more questions, and a lot more laughs, than you might think. Matthew and Paul discuss DC Superpets, with a side of Appa's Lost Days.

About Love, Friendship and other Strange Things
The show meets Peter halfway and puts the hurt on Appa as we recap the very bad no good couple of weeks where Appa traveled alone across the Earth Kingdom. We discuss his tribulations, his pathfinding ability, and his spiritual connection with Aang. This is episode 35 of Avatar: The First Viewing, the podcast where two first time viewers and a series veteran watch Avatar: The Last Airbender from start to finish. We go episode by episode to recount Aang's story. If you're a fan of ATLA or The Legend of Korra — or are watching for the first time — join us as we recount the series!
