The second issue of Sega Saturn Magazine arrives on the eve of that much celebrated event. No, not Christmas (though t'is the season) it's the release of the Big Three! With Virtua Cop, Virtua Fighter 2 and Sega Rally almost ready for retail, plus plenty of surprises inside, join James the SEGAHolic and Dan The Mega Driver as they ride the wave of Saturn positivity inside SSM Issue 2.

The Sega Saturn holds a strange place in gaming history. It sold fewer units in the US than both the Genesis and the Dreamcast. It's mostly remembered for all the "obvious" ways it failed. Yet, it's the best-selling Sega home console in Japan, with a library of games that rivals the entire Genesis ecosystem (including CD and 32X)! I've heard it described as playing a Stephen King novel, and I couldn't agree more.The game goes as far as to have you play AS a writer (Alan Wake), and while you don't write anything yourself, you stumble through a horror movie set in a novel, finding pages of a manuscript that keep the plot moving as you fight enemies with guns or flashlights. He was as stoked to jump into this game as I was, and now that we're both done our first playthrough, we have a lot to say about this one.
