Introduction: Host Michael Rand starts with the Timberwolves, who always lose in Toronto but managed to do it in a very disheartening way on Thursday. Something is broken with this team, and fixing it doesn't appear to be simple. The Wild, meanwhile, continued their scorching start. They are 9-1-2 on the road after a 5-3 win over Edmonton. 10:00: Gophers men's hockey coach Bob Motzko joins the show for a look at his team, which like the Wild is off to a strong start. Motzko gets into the pressure of coaching a perennial contender, the joy of coaching, the pain he still deals with and his love of other Minnesota teams. 29:00: Three levels of football come into focus for the weekend.

For this week's Glass and Out podcast, we're excited to welcome Garrett Raboin, Head Coach of Augustana University. With the Viking Men's Hockey Program joining NCAA Division I hockey next season, Raboin is currently in the process of building the program from the ground up. Everything is new and will have his fingerprints on it when the Vikings debut next season. New rink, new uniforms, new conference, new players - new everything! Raboin comes to Augustana from the University of Minnesota, where he was an assistant coach on Bob Motzko's staff for four seasons. Prior to his time with the Gophers, he was an assistant coach at his Alma Mater, St. Cloud State University, also working under Motzko. As a player, Raboin was the captain of St. Cloud State during the final two seasons of his collegiate career, which speaks to his character and perseverance when you consider he was a walk onto the program. In this episode, we'll touch on his strategy for running a two player practice, the decision making process of selecting the seating arrangement in the locker room, to the colour of carpet in the players lounge, and why he's choosing to not to put any limits on his team once they drop the puck on their inaugural season.

We celebrate the 150th episode of the GPL Podcast with a big road sweep of the Buckeyes! This team is hard to figure out, but we attempt to do it. We also jumped in to the Robson situation and how he is likely gone after this season and who is coming in to replace him, and Schierhorn. Then we get in to the big weekend against Notre Dame. Bonus audio from coach Motzko.
We still cannot figure this team out as they split with the BADgers this past weekend. One great win that Motzko said was not great. Followed by a bad game that Motzko said was a really good game for the team. So who knows? We go over it all, and preview the series with Michigan.
Don Lucia is out after 19 years. Bob Motzko is the new Gopher head coach. We talk about ALL of that along with our thoughts on Mike Guentzel and a few others that were up for the job. But that is not all. Ryan Lindgren and Casey Mittelstadt have turned pro. 3 of the 4 teams in the Frozen Four are from the BigTen. It has just been a crazy week!
