Truck wash day! Gonna be almost 50° today with some colder temps & snow on the way tomorrow. So gotta get that truck in the car wash. Heading into the weekend, we talked about what's on TV for the next few days and what's new in theaters along with a few new music releases. Doc had to pre-record today's racing report thanks to County Materials in Holmen and Eau Claire! We also highlighted some things to look forward to in the month of March, including some movies & TV shows, sporting events, and some of the holidays! Speaking of sports, the Bucks play tonight, the Badgers are in Washington tomorrow afternoon, the US Women's Hockey team is going to be partying in Las Vegas with Flavor Flav…while the US Men's Hockey team had their bar tab taken care of by Pat McAfee! A burger battle is heating up between McDonald's & Burger King…as Mickey-D's is introducing the "Big Arch Burger" and BK is apparently revamping it's Whopper. Plus, have you seen the new Johnsonville sausage flavor? Not sure I want to try this one. In the news this morning, a woman gives birth to a MASSIVE baby, the guy in Wyoming who dragged a dying wolf into a bar after hitting it with his snowmobile reaches a plea deal, and the grandfather with the "PB4WEGO" license plate gets a bit of help from the governor of NY. Elsewhere in sports, the NFL player's report gets leaked, Tony Dungy is apparently out at "Sunday Night Football", a couple of college basketball players helped out when those two cars fell into a sinkhole in Nebraska, and the Orlando Magic have a very unique collaboration coming up! Couple of dog stories this morning - A snowplow driver in New York rescued a couple of dogs that were running loose on the highway, and an old guy in Canada fell down and was rescued by his neighbor's pooch! And in today's edition of "Bad News with Happy Music", we had stories about a couple who were seriously injured by some antlers that fell off the wall at a Longhorn steakouse, a couple who apparently beat each other with frying pans, a woman who tried to use movie prop money to bail a friend out of jail, and a guy who was flashing people at a Denny's.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

As the work week begins to wrap up, it's gradually getting warmer with a high in the low 50's expected for tomorrow before winter dumps more snow on us Saturday morning. Yay! So, don't put your shovels away just yet. In the news this morning, Metallica officially announces their residency at the Sphere in Vegas, a recall on frozen blueberries, the US government has lifted the "shelter-in-place" order in Mexico, and Jackass is officially coming to an end. In sports, the Bucks got a win over the Cavs last night, the Badgers lost to Oregon, the deadly shooting at a hockey rink in Rhode Island has claimed another victim, the NFL announced yesterday that both the Jaguars & Commanders would be playing overseas next season, and former La Crosse Logger - Max Scherzer - signs a one-year deal with the Blue Jays. We talked about what's on TV today/tonight and we also looked at the list of nominees for the 2026 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and determined who should & shouldn't get in. A singing mailman in Chicago went viral after someone on his route posted a doorbell camera video of him singing…people did some digging & found out he had a lengthy commute with no vehicle…and you can probably figure out the rest! And check out this nun who was willing to risk serious injury to herself in order to save a child from being crushed by a falling tree! It seems like everyone & their grandmother is on OnlyFans or some other adult platform…but what does the average person make per year by producing adult content? We took a look at the numbers. Elsewhere in sports, Joel Quenneville becomes just the 2nd head coach in NHL history with 1,000 wins, Sidney Crosby's injury at the Olympics will keep him out of action for another month, and NASCAR scraps the "Promoter's Caution" from this year's All-Star race. Today is "National Chili Day" and it's "Hypothetical Thursday"! Brian asked Jean: "Would you take $5 million dollars in cash right now, but your lifespan would be cut by 10 years?". And Jean asked Brian: "Which would you rather give up for a month? Your phone or your vehicles?" Office Cora joined us just after 8am to let us know what she's up to in the 715 this weekend. Plus, she recapped her vacation to Puerta Vallarta that came to an end just before all the drug cartel violence! And in today's edition of "Bad News with Happy Music", we had stories about a dude in California who crashed his car while doing whippets and kept doing them while being rescued, a felon in LA who got in even more trouble for feeding a Buzz Ball to a hawk, a Whataburger manager in Texas who beat a customer with a trash barrel, a dude in Pennsylvania who set multiple fires in his townhome while trying to kill spiders, a guy in NY who is facing charges for trying to kill his own sister with a crossbow after an argument about the temperature in their house, and a #FloridaMan who went nuts in a Chinese restaurant and did a bunch of damage with a shovel.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Friday at last! We've got Friday the 13th today…and Valentine's Day tomorrow! Obviously, we had a bunch of V-Day stuff this morning including some Instacart data on what people are buying this year. In sports, the Bucks beat the Thunder last night, the Badgers play tonight against another ranked opponent, the results of last night's NASCAR duels, the US Men's Hockey team throttled Latvia yesterday, and an updated medal count. I'm trying to decide what I should do this weekend. Work on the lawn? Or take the Harley out for a spin. Gonna be in the mid-50's on Saturday and maybe I'll just do both. In the news this morning, the latest on the death of James Van Der Beek, an update on the search for Savannah Guthrie's mom, an airport got closed yesterday because of a party balloon, and a deadly school shooting in Canada. Bunch of Olympic stuff this morning including an updated medal count, the latest on Lindsey Vonn, and what are people Googling about the Winter Games? It's Hypothetical Thursday, so we asked each other some hypothetical questions. Brian asked Jean: "What was the most unhinged thing you ever did in a relationship?" Jean asked Brian: "Would you rather be hangry all the time or hot & sweaty all the time?" And of course, Office Cora joined us to talk about what she's up to in the 715 this weekend. In sports, the Bucks beat the Magic last night before the NBA All-Star break, the Badgers take on Michigan State tomorrow night, Kyle Busch wins the pole for this weekend's Daytona 500, and some big suspensions in the NBA after a fight between the Hornets & Pistons. Valentine's Day is coming up this weekend and 82% of people think it's a fake holiday that was made-up to encourage people to spend money. And speaking of money, we looked at how much people are spending on V-Day this year. We talked about what's on TV today/tonight. Remember the Australian kid who saved his family after they got blown out to sea? Well, the cops just released more details about the incident along with some audio from the kid's 911 call. A dog in Louisville helped cops find a missing three year-old. And a former professor at the University of Wisconsin is in the news after a bunch of his former students got postcards from him after he passed away. And in today's edition of "Bad News with Happy Music", we had stories about a beehive thief, a surge in fake IDs due to the popularity of A.I., a landlord in Green Bay who was allegedly trading sex for rent, a guy in Sacramento who stole some beehives, a mom who injected fecal matter into her own child's IV at the hospital, and a jewelry thief who used a forklift to rob a store and a donkey to escape.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Speaking of the Super Bowl halftime show, Dave Draiman of Disturbed is suggesting that we use music to bring people together with a new festival featuring artist on both sides of the political aisle, and Kid Rock responds to allegations that he was lip-syncing during his TPUSA halftime show. We let you know what's on TV today/tonight and looked a list of Valentine's Day horror movies to watch this weekend. Also, check out this 12 year-old kid who is trying to become the youngest person to ever create nuclear fusion!
