Carol Record Highlights: Lyrics to “Right Where I Belong” by Claudia Carawan, Sloan Wainwright, & Sue Riley: Now, in this room full of smiling faces, I know I've found my home. This is where joy lives. This is where love is. This is a place where I am strong. This is where eyes meet, where kindred hearts beat. I am right where I belong. Now that my heart is opened, there's no place I'd rather be. This is where joy lives. This is where love is. This is a place where I am strong. This is where eyes meet, where kindred hearts beat. I am right where I belong!

SAG award winning actor and folk-rock musician Creed Bratton ("The Office") is slated to release his highly anticipated, ninth full-length album "Slightly Altered" later this summer. Produced by Grammy award-winning producer Dave Way (Sheryl Crow, Christina Aguilera, Fiona Apple) and Dillion O'Brian, "Slightly Altered" is a 10-track journey across a mystical and sublime musical soundscape. The first single, "Chan Chu Toad," dropped on June 12, 2020 and the second single, "The Ride," is slated for release on July 10, 2020. You can check out "Chan Chu Toad" here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UdRQWdsfEYw Also on the new album: a re-recording of "Temptation Eyes" - originally released by Bratton's 1970s band, The Grass Roots - which reimagines the punchy hit as a soulful ballad. And the closing track, "Right Where I Belong," is a sweet, easy-paced reflection on contentment. "Creed's a man who's done things, seen things," Dave Way said. "The scars make for some pretty tough skin.but under (Bratton's) steely eyed, leathered exterior is a big and grateful heart. I've seen it, and that's what you'll hear on this album." "This is my most personal album to date," Bratton said. "It took me over a year to record it and I am so proud of what has emerged. Our country and world are in a dark place, but we have to go through this catharsis to come into the light. I truly believe that healing and music are intertwined, and my humble hope is that this record can play some part in that." Clayton Anderson has managed to do the unthinkable—he’s cracked into country music backwards, independently, and with a fury. Opening for some of country’s biggest stars-- Jason Aldean, Eric Church, Kenny Chesney, Sara Evans, Lee Brice, Wynonna, Joe Diffie, and Jimmy Buffett--Clayton has put himself on the map the old-fashioned way--playing backrooms, side stages, and honky-tonks from Michigan to Florida, each time gaining a few more fans and a better foothold on areas that aren’t traditional country strongholds. Clayton began playing music as a hobby in college at Indiana University in Bloomington, and after a few years playing locally, Clayton won Kenny Chesney’s Next Big Star competition.Clayton released his debut album Torn Jeans & Tailgates in 2011 and it reached No. 12 on the iTunes country charts, sitting next to household names like Zac Brown Band, Brad Paisley and Blake Shelton. He followed that success with the release of his sophomore album Right Where I Belong in 2014, writing nearly every track on the album, with each track representing a different moment in Clayton’s journey in music. Right Where I Belong reached #2 on the iTunes chart and landed in the the Billboard Top 50 Country Albums upon its initial launch. Clayton’s musical growth proves that his journey continues to impress. That is solidified with his new single “In the Dark” which he co-wrote with Tommy Cecil (Luke Bryan, Jake Owen, Parmalee) and Chris Cavanaugh (Trace Adkins). Clayton also co-produced the track with Mark Trussell (Billy Currington, Mickey Guyton ).  The song is a taste of what’s to come with his forthcoming EP Only to Borrow, set to be released on 11/18/16."Nashville Hits Collecting Dust" is a casual, entertaining hangout with friends telling stories, giving valuable advice, and playing great songs that otherwise would still be sitting in a database.

Born in Ottawa, Ontario and raised in Aylmer, Quebec, NELSON COLT released his EP Where I Belong last year featuring the singles Fingers Crossed, Right Where I Belong and the new one Across The River. The project was recorded in Nashville and was produced by Rob Matson. All songs on the album were written by Nelson and award-wining hitmaker Barry Brown. Nelson's influences include Merle Haggard, Ricky Skaggs, George Strait, Alabama and Alan Jackson. Another big influence was a Canadian Country Music legend: “We went to visit my uncle David for New Year’s Eve, and he played a guitar and sang some Hank Snow,” says Nelson. “I was in awe of that sound.” Nelson started by performing at the age of sixteen in his hometown, then he put a group together and did some touring in Ontario and Quebec for a few years. During that time, he entered all the talent shows he could find, and to his delight, winning first place in most of them. One such prize was the 1995 CKBY (Y101) Talent Search, where Nelson won a recording and touring package. Nelson has had the opportunity to be the opening act for several recording artists that have come to his area, namely Michelle Wright and John Conlee. With his new backup band named The Riders, his goals have come into focus, “Give the fans really good country music!” And that he does.
