“Healthy, happy, and balanced athletes are the ones that make it across the finish line again and again throughout a long career and leave a legacy.” — Jessie DigginsJessie Diggins is currently competing in her fourth and final Winter Olympics in Milan-Cortina. I interviewed her back in January 2021, just one week after her historic Tour de Ski win on some of the same Italian mountains she's skiing on now. Since our recording, Jessie has become the most accomplished cross-country skier from the US, with 4 Olympic medals (she won her 4th one today!), 3 World Cup overall titles, 7 World Championship medals, and countless other accolades. Even though it's no longer Covid times (thank goodness), this powerful conversation about fueling for joy, resilience, and longevity in sport remains just as relevant and important today. ---In Episode 37, I'm honored to be joined by cross-country skier and Olympic gold medalist Jessie Diggins. She is not only dominating her sport, but also using her platform to promote healthy fueling, body positivity, and the importance of enjoying food without restriction. Many fans first fell in love with Jessie during the 2018 Winter Olympics, where she and Kikkan Randall won the first-ever American gold medal in cross-country skiing. At the time of this interview, Jessie had also just won the Tour de Ski, becoming the first American to claim the title. In this conversation, Jessie challenges the idea that leanness leads to success, reminding athletes that “Skinny doesn't win races. Fast wins races.” She emphasizes that fueling well, prioritizing health, and embracing joy are essential to reaching the start line ready to race.

We are at an interesting moment in the dairy sector. For years, smaller farmers with around 200 cows, who were also great graziers, could undercut the costs of large concentrated dairy operations, keeping costs low, taking healthy margins in good years, and surviving the bad ones. But something has changed: CAFO dairies have grown bigger and bigger (10,000 cows is now normal, and 100,000 is no longer an exception) and their economies of scale mean they are undercutting the grazers. Of course, this leads to massive manure lagoons, animal welfare disasters, and all kinds of other externalities, but nobody is paying for that yet. Not to mention that you can only push biology so far before it literally breaks. So what's next for regenerative grazing? Joe Tomandl, 4th generation dairy farmer, founder and director of the Dairy Grazing Alliance, argues instead for focusing on the transition of mid-size farms with 300– 700 cows that have surrounding land which could be grazed but currently isn't. You need grazing experience and a long-term offtake agreement, but it can be done.More about this episode.==========================In Investing in Regenerative Agriculture and Food podcast show we talk to the pioneers in the regenerative food and agriculture space to learn more on how to put our money to work to regenerate soil, people, local communities and ecosystems while making an appropriate and fair return. In this Sacred Assembly message, Pastor Josh McPherson teaches from 2 Chronicles 20, showing how God sends praise ahead of the battle and fights on behalf of His people. With three defining words—not risk, reward; portions; breakthrough—this message calls the church into consecration, disciplined obedience, and a deeper hunger for God. As joy is restored and faith is strengthened, we learn again how worship trains our hands for war and prepares us for victory. Support the showThanks for listening! You haven't "arrived." You were made to learn. This message is a challenge to pride, a rebuke to spiritual boredom, and an invitation back into the presence of God. Pastor Josh McPherson unpacks why wisdom starts with fearing God, why obedience turns the volume up on God's voice, and why a church of learners becomes a church of leaders. The takeaway: stay in the tent—because what God is about to do will require what only God can give.Support the showThanks for listening! Go to www.StrongerManNation.com for more resources.
This episode explores what happens when the world feels unstable—socially, politically, and energetically—and why so many people are experiencing grief, fatigue, and disbelief rather than anger. Speaking from the lived experience of witnessing deep division in the United States and beyond, the podcast reframes chaos not as a failure of humanity, but as a moment of evolutionary contrast. Some individuals and systems have evolved toward heart-centered awareness, while others remain rooted in fear, control, and disconnection. That gap in consciousness creates the sense of incompatibility many feel: an inability to reconcile inhuman behavior with deeply held values of compassion, dignity, and care.Drawing on guidance from the Ascended Masters, the episode offers a powerful spiritual context for what is unfolding. The message received emphasizes that those living from embodied light cannot cognitively or energetically map consciousness that has severed itself from the human spirit. What we are witnessing is not random cruelty, but fear of illumination—light revealing distortion simply by existing. Grief, soul-level exhaustion, and disbelief are not weaknesses; they are signs of a nervous system and soul designed for coherence, reverence for life, and relational presence. Darkness becomes visible only because light has grown strong enough to expose it, and those anchored in light are here not to understand disconnection, but to hold the frequency that makes reconnection possible. The podcast then grounds this spiritual perspective in biology and energy anatomy, explaining that stress is not a mental flaw but an intelligent survival response that moves through the entire system. When threat is perceived—whether physical, emotional, social, or existential—the body shifts into emergency mode, narrowing perception and diverting energy away from creativity, empathy, and long-term repair. When stress becomes chronic, it affects not only the physical body, but also the etheric, emotional, mental, and spiritual layers, leading to boundary erosion, emotional contraction or numbness, rigid thinking, and a sense of spiritual disconnection. These responses are not breakdowns; they are signals that the system has been protecting itself for too long. Finally, the episode offers compassionate, practical grounding tools designed to restore safety and coherence across all levels of being. Rather than forcing positivity or seeking instant healing, listeners are guided toward simple, consistent practices that calm the nervous system, repair energetic boundaries, allow emotions to move, soften mental loops, and gently reopen spiritual connection. The core message is clear: in times of chaos, the work is not to become stronger or more resilient, but more present. Presence restores regulation, regulation restores clarity, and clarity restores choice—allowing us to move through uncertainty without dimming our light.Send us a textSupport the showThanks for listening - For questions or comments email Laurie at Laurie@yourlifecore.comInstagram @yourlifecore or Twitter @yourlifecore Facebook https://www.facebook.com/YourLifecoreWebsite www.yourlifecore.com

We're back for a new year and a new season of SlashU! We wanted to start Season 12 off with a bang, but unfortunately we decided to cover a movie given to us by two of our loyal listeners. And it was bad. It's called "Cult of Blood" from 2024. Now, granted it stars low-budget horror royalty in the form of Felissa Rose and Dave Sheridan. But that's where the fun stops because this one was a weird, disjointed, train wreck of a plot from the start. A group of social media influencers get trapped by a vampire cult and have to escape before their blood becomes fuel for some dark ritual that unleashes a weird bat monster. Yeah, all that happens. It's hard to follow, didn't seem to have a real script, but definitely did have Windows 98 style special effects. Let me know your thoughts on the show and what topic you would like me to discuss next. The most dangerous misalignment doesn't explode; it drifts. Careers accelerate, reputations solidify, and bank accounts grow while home life slips into management mode—efficient, coordinated, but emotionally thin. We shine a light on that quiet distance and talk candidly about why capable men tolerate personal drift far longer than they would ever allow professional drift on their teams. We start by naming the gap: the low-grade unease that surfaces during unstructured time, the struggle to recall the last weekend of true presence, and the way “it's just a season” becomes a lifestyle. From there, we unpack the double standard that rules so many high performers. At work, drift is unacceptable, addressed early, and supported by advisors. At home, drift is understandable, explained away, and managed alone. We examine how leadership at home gets downgraded to logistics, how children become schedules instead of stories, and how spouses adapt to partial presence until resignation replaces hope. Then we get practical. We stress that alignment is not a reward for perfect timing; it is a standard upheld amid complexity. We offer sharp questions that force clarity: What have you called temporary that's now normal? Where are you managing instead of addressing? Which leadership qualities you're known for at work are absent at home? We show how climate forms—how unresolved tension sets the emotional temperature—and why outside perspective turns intention into calibration. Professionals seek coaching to win at work; serious men invite honest mirrors to win at life.If you're ready to let your standards travel from boardroom to breakfast table, this conversation is your turning point. Pastor West examines the biblical story of Abram and Sarai in Egypt to illustrate the fragility of human faith during times of crisis. He contrasts Abram's initial obedience to God's call with his subsequent lapse into fear and deception when faced with a severe famine. By analyzing Abram's choice to lie about his marriage to avoid danger, he highlights how relying on human strategy over divine prayer leads to a "snowball of sin." Ultimately, he emphasizes God's unwavering faithfulness to His promises despite human failures, while challenging believers to maintain integrity and transparency when their faith is tested.Support the showThanks for listening! We cover the difference between healthy optimism and toxic positivity, how to use numbers and standards to keep yourself honest, and simple rules that force action when you're stuck. If you've been telling yourself “it'll work out” while avoiding what needs to change, this episode is your reset.Support the showThanks for listening & being part of the Mindset Cafe Community.----------------------------------------------Connect With Devan:https://www.devangonzalez.com/connect----------------------------------------------Follow On Instagram https://www.instagram.com/devan.gonzalez/https://www.instagram.com/mindsetcafepodcastLet me know what topics or questions you want covered so we can help you achieve your goals faster.

Send us a textA birthday toast turns into a blueprint for a braver year. We celebrate 67 with honesty about grief, chronic illness, and a new diagnosis, and we choose a simple operating system for 2026: stack gold bricks. A brick can be a workout, a hard phone call, a quiet hour with family, or a closed real estate deal. Coins count, too. When days hit hard, we use a code phrase—“movie day”—to protect morale and communicate needs without giving pain more power than it deserves.Faith frames the plan. Ecclesiastes 3 reminds us there's a season for everything: building and letting go, speaking and staying quiet, weeping and laughing. That lens steadies the heart through a year of loss, a daughter starting chemo right after giving birth, and the strange rhythm of pain that can greet you first thing in the morning. From that place, we choose action that fits the day. We eat for strength, titrate meds wisely, and set energy boundaries that honor the body while keeping momentum. On the money front, we cut through hype and keep to what works in real estate: respectful outreach, consistent follow-up, steady skills, and a bias toward small daily wins. We talk about purging closets and habits, consigning the excess, and making room for the life that fits now. Then we round it out with the five slices that keep us balanced—financial, spiritual, physical, emotional, family—and a third-quarter mindset that plays to win with high-percentage moves. If you've been waiting for perfect conditions, this is your invitation to move anyway, one coin, one brick at a time.If this message hits home, subscribe, share it with someone who needs hope, and leave a review to help more people find the show. The difference between agroecology and regenerative agriculture is the deep social change we need in the food and agriculture system. As Laura Ortiz Montemayor told us once "ecology without social justice is just gardening". Million Belay, who leads the Alliance for Food Sovereignty in Africa, the largest social movement on the African continent, is very clear stop intervening with agriculture on the continent, stop imposing all kinds of rules, practices, seeds, inputs etc, which don't serve in this context (and we could argue in the context we come from as well, how many European banned pesticides are exported to the continent?)We talk about the shut down of the USAID which was actually a good shock to the system. And finally donors, which unfortunately dictate quite a bit the direction, are talking and slowly also acting around agroecology. We discuss how through lobbying they managed to get many countries to adopt agroecology policies in the last few years, what Million would do with a billion dollar and what his message for investors is.More about this episode.==========================In Investing in Regenerative Agriculture and Food podcast show we talk to the pioneers in the regenerative food and agriculture space to learn more on how to put our money to work to regenerate soil, people, local communities and ecosystems while making an appropriate and fair return. Send us a textIn this powerful conversation, Sharla Goettl joins us to explore how covenants with Jesus Christ give us access to real, spiritual power—power to overcome fear, stand firm in faith, and live with confidence in an increasingly uncertain world. We talk about: • What covenant power actually is (and what it's not) • How Jesus Christ transforms fear into faith • Why remembering our covenants changes how we face trials • How disciples of Christ can live boldly, faithfully, and with purposeThis episode is for anyone who feels stretched, weary, or searching for deeper spiritual strength—and wants to anchor their life more fully in Jesus Christ.
At this Sacred Assembly at Grace City Church, Pastor Russell Johnson brings a faith-charged message from Mark 5—Jairus and the woman with the issue of blood—showing how honesty plants the seed of faith, and how Jesus' authority changes everything. Ask, believe, press in, and don't let fear set the temperature of your life. Pastor Russell calls the church to build an altar through worship, prayer, and sacrificial obedience—and to marry breakthrough to follow-through so what God starts in the room carries into every day.Support the showThanks for listening! Send us a textEver wonder what we use for continued success? Today we unpack our favorite things that keep our training consistent and productive: the clothes that match meet-day feel, the shoes that stabilize your base, the pre-workout strategy that fuels hard sets, and the accessories that build muscle where it counts. We start with the foundation: outfits and footwear that make lifts feel the same in training and competition. Then we tackle pre-workout and carbs, comparing coffee and stim-free formulas to Gorilla Mode, and sharing quick carbs like honey, dates, and applesauce that turn sluggish sessions into strong volume. We also talk warm-ups like thoracic openers, hip circle activation, and rotator cuff work that respect your time while preparing the body for success. We also share honest gear favorites Pioneer belts, Friction Labs chalk, Obsidian ammonia and more. Recovery stays simple, a whey protein shake or a protein bar you'll actually eat, deep-tissue bodywork or a guided stretching routine, and as much quality sleep as you can manage. If you're serious about powerlifting and or your fitness and are ready for practical, repeatable steps that help you reach your goals and take your strength to the next level, this one's for you. What's Up with the Energies of February 2026 is a powerful forecast for a month that doesn't whisper—it activates. February unfolds as a pivotal turning point marked by heart-opening truth, collective reset, and forward momentum. With a Full Moon in Leo on February 1, we're invited to reclaim creative courage, visibility, and authentic self-expression. Then on February 17, a rare convergence arrives: a New Moon and Annular Solar Eclipse in Aquarius, paired with Chinese New Year and the ignition of the Year of the Fire Horse. This is not just a date—it's a threshold. Heart opens, timelines reset, and movement begins.Numerologically, February carries a Universal Month 3 within a Universal Year 1, amplifying expression, communication, creativity, and purposeful momentum. This isn't scattered energy—it's inspired action guided by clarity. The Aquarius eclipse accelerates change around community, collaboration, and future direction, helping us release outdated roles and align with where we truly belong. At the same time, key planetary shifts—including Uranus turning direct, Mercury and Venus entering Pisces, and the approach of Mercury retrograde—ask us to balance intuition with discernment as we move forward.A major highlight of the month is Saturn entering Aries on February 13, signaling a profound shift from spiritual preparation to embodied action. Discipline becomes personal. Responsibility moves into the realm of choice, courage, and self-leadership. Together with the eclipse and Fire Horse energy, February asks one central question: Now that you know—will you move? This episode explores how each zodiac sign experiences this activation and offers guidance for navigating a month that calls us into alignment, maturity, and meaningful beginnings.Listen as Laurie also provides insight for each Zodiac sign. Send us a textStop waiting on the market to bless you with deals. We're pulling back the curtain on the five public-record lead sources that keep producing—foreclosure, divorce, probate, unpaid taxes, and bankruptcy—and showing how to work them step by step. I walk through the real foreclosure timeline, what your county site actually reveals, and why most investors show up months late with stale lists. You'll learn where bankruptcy filings live, how to match them to foreclosure records, and why those last-minute moves signal a seller who needs real help right now. This conversation blends strategy with story. I share how losing a house and a car pushed me to the courthouse, a paper map, and door knocking with a baby on my hip—and how that grit led to the first $22k, then $50k, and a career built on solving people's problems. We talk scripts that lead with options and empathy, from loan mods and forbearance to selling as-is or using creative financing when it makes sense. If you've ever felt paralyzed by headlines—rates, inventory, recession chatter—this is your antidote: consistent deals rooted in life events that never stop. You'll leave with a simple plan: pull fresh filings from the last 45–60 days, prioritize by sale dates, and reach out directly. Door knock if you can. If not, combine letters, calls, and social DMs that promise tangible help and a clean exit if needed. That's how you create triple wins for owners, banks, and your business while stacking steady “gold bricks” of profit. Ready to build a recession-proof pipeline? Subscribe, share this with a fellow investor who needs clarity, and leave a quick review so more people can find it. Then pull your first list tonight and tell me which county you're starting in.
