Send us a textDating coach Mark Rosenfeld pulls back the curtain on why modern dating feels so frustrating despite our unprecedented connectivity. Drawing from his own journey overcoming social anxiety to become Australia's leading women's dating coach, Mark delivers refreshingly practical wisdom about finding meaningful connections."We're so connected, now more than ever, and yet we all feel so disconnected," Mark observes about today's dating landscape. His approach balances strategic action with emotional intelligence, helping women navigate both online platforms and in-person opportunities. Rather than exhausting yourself with marathon swiping sessions, Mark recommends consistent, small daily actions that prevent burnout while maximizing genuine connections. The conversation explores the surprising truth about "high value" partners - they're rarely who we initially imagine them to be. While many daters fixate on status markers like appearance or profession, true relationship compatibility stems from emotional safety, mutual respect, and relationship skills that only become visible over time. This explains why many of Mark's clients end up happily partnered with someone who didn't match their original checklist but makes them feel deeply understood.Perhaps most illuminating is Mark's expertise on attachment dynamics, particularly the anxious-avoidant dance that characterizes so many struggling relationships. He shares practical techniques for managing emotional dysregulation during conflicts, including creating agreements in peaceful moments that prevent harmful escalations when triggers arise. His insight that "resentments are unspoken expectations" unlocks a simple yet powerful path to reducing relationship friction through clear communication.Throughout the episode, vulnerability emerges as the bridge to authentic connection. Whether you're navigating online dating algorithms or trying to communicate needs to a partner, leading with emotional honesty creates the foundation for meaningful relationships. Curious about transforming your approach to dating? Mark's program "Make Him Yours" and his online resources offer pathways to develop both the strategy and emotional intelligence needed to thrive in today's complex dating world.Support the showThanks for listening!Check out this site for everthing to know about women's pleasure including video tutorials and great suggestions for bedroom time!!https://for-goodness-sake-omgyes.sjv.io/c/5059274/1463336/17315Take the happiness quiz from Oprah and Arthur Brooks here: https://arthurbrooks.com/buildNEW: Subscribe monthly: https://www.buzzsprout.com/1805181/support Email questions/comments/feeback to tamara@straightfromthesourcesmouth.co Website: https://straightfromthesourcesmouthpod.net/Instagram: @fromthesourcesmouth_franktalkTwitter: @tamarapodcastYouTube and IG: Tamara_Schoon_comic

In modern life, there is a tendency to label challenges, decisions, and emotions as “complicated.” We say this with a sigh, as though “complicated” were something that appeared out of thin air and latched itself to our lives without invitation. But if we pause for a moment—truly pause—and examine the architecture of our circumstances, we may discover an uncomfortable truth: we have created much of the complexity ourselves. And even more startling is the realization that we continue to allow that complexity to exist. In this Podcast, Laurie challenges us to confront the illusion of helplessness by turning the spotlight back onto our own choices, perspectives, and behaviors. It's not about blame—it's about reclaiming agency and recognizing that the power to simplify lies within us.Listen as Laurie guides us through the reasons we might complicate our lives, followed by 10 steps to recognize and simplify them. We tackled "Bloody Murder" on the last episode so this week we had to jump into the sequel, "Bloody Murder 2: Closing Camp." It's the story of Tracy, sister to Jason who was attacked at the end of the last film. She thinks her brother Jason is still alive somewhere up at Camp Placid Pines. It's the end of summer. Tracy and the other counselors are packing up the camp to close for the season. The counselors start to disappear one by one. Is it Rick, the head counselor? Is it Trevor Moorehouse, the fabled 'camp boogeyman' story used to scare the campers? Or is it someone else responsible for the killings? We spoil it all here. In this shorter episode, we're coming to you from a cabin on the lake where our top priority is to relax. And since this movie was essentially a repeat of the first, we didn't feel the need to go as long as we usually do. But we're just as fun and entertaining as ever!Follow us on Instagram @SlashU_PodcastEmail us at SlashUPodcast@gmail.comCheck out the Facebook page too: SlashU PodcastClick any of the Amazon links at SlashUPodcast.com to support the showThanks to ZapSplat.com for our Sound FXFollow us on Instagram @SlashU_PodcastEmail us at SlashUPodcast@gmail.comCheck out the Facebook page too: SlashU PodcastClick any of the Amazon links at SlashUPodcast.com to support the showThanks to ZapSplat.com for our Sound FX Hosted on Acast. Send us a textWhat happens when your dream career no longer fits your life? Shannon Russell faced this question after a successful run as a television producer at MTV and in Hollywood. When motherhood shifted her priorities, Shannon made the bold decision to walk away from the entertainment industry and forge a new entrepreneurial path.Shannon's story breaks the conventional wisdom that we must stay in our lane. Coming from a blue-collar family where her parents worked the same jobs their entire lives, she was the first to attend college and leave her hometown. Her journey took her from broadcast communications student to television producer in New York and Los Angeles, living what many would consider a glamorous dream job.The birth of her first child changed everything. Suddenly, the demanding schedule, constant travel, and intense pressure of television production conflicted with her desire to be present for her family. Rather than seeing this as the end of her ambitions, Shannon viewed it as an opportunity to write a new chapter. Despite well-meaning interventions from industry friends and her husband, she trusted her instincts and began exploring entrepreneurial options.Shannon found her next act in purchasing a children's STEM education franchise—what she calls a "business in a box" that provided structure and support for a first-time business owner. Within two years, she ranked among the top three franchisees in the organization. As her business flourished, she discovered a passion for helping other women, particularly mothers, navigate similar career transitions.Today, Shannon runs Second Act Success, coaching women to leverage their professional experience to build businesses that provide both fulfillment and flexibility. Her new book "Start Your Second Act: How to Change Careers, Build a Business and Create Your Best Life" launches May 7th, and her podcast features inspiring stories of women who've successfully reinvented themselves professionally.Shannon's message is powerful in its simplicity: "Keep going, give yourself grace, and it will all work out." She encourages listeners to stop being sheep, pursue their unique paths, and believe in their ability to create multiple successful chapters in life. Ready to break out of your lane and start your own second act? Shannon's journey shows it's never too late to reinvent yourself.Support the showThanks for listening & being part of the Mindset Cafe Community.----------------------------------------------Connect With Devan:https://www.devangonzalez.com/connect----------------------------------------------Follow On Instagram https://www.instagram.com/devan.gonzalez/https://www.instagram.com/mindsetcafepodcastLet me know what topics or questions you want covered so we can help you achieve your goals faster.----------------------------------------------P.S. This sermon interprets Genesis 4, focusing on the story of Cain and Abel to illustrate human sin and God's mercy. It examines Eve's initial joy and high expectations for Cain, contrasting them with Abel's less celebrated birth. The speaker explains God's "regard" for Abel's offering was due to his heartfelt generosity and offering of "first and best," unlike Cain's resentful attitude. The sermon highlights Cain's subsequent anger as a "second temptation story" mirroring Adam and Eve's fall, emphasizing that unchecked anger and self-pity lead to greater sin, culminating in Abel's murder. Ultimately, the sermon serves as a cautionary tale about the destructive nature of sin and a call for confession, gratitude, and turning to God.Support the showThanks for listening! The rest? Imported from struggling neighbours. The worst part? The system was sabotaged. Coal plants weren't just shut down—they were demolished. Renewable targets were chased without building proper backups. Now the National Grid is warning of “tight days” in early December and mid-January.Meanwhile, gas plants are charging 100x market rates for emergency use. And the government? EP231: Jessica Bentson's journey into toymaking began with a heartfelt desire to provide her children with natural playthings she couldn't afford to buy. That spark of inspiration has grown into Toymaking Magic, her membership that helps parents create beautiful handmade toys regardless of their crafting experience. In this conversation, Jean and Jessica talk about the value of handmade toys and open-ended play. Jessica shares why simple projects like beanbags make the perfect starting point for beginners while offering tremendous play value for children from toddlerhood through the elementary years. "Making beanbags is so satisfying," she explains. "My kids loved them so much and played with them the most out of everything I've ever made." These open-ended toys inspire children to invent games, build structures, and incorporate them into imaginative play scenarios for years. For parents who feel intimidated by handwork, Jessica's step-by-step video tutorials show every detail of the process, making projects accessible even to complete beginners. Whether you're curious about needle felting, sewing, knitting, or woodwork, Toy Making Magic offers a treasure trove of Waldorf-inspired crafts that enhance both your homeschooling journey and your children's development. Discover the joys of making toys by hand and how this activity can transform your family's relationship with play and learning.Find the Show Notes here  https://artofhomeschooling.com/episode231/Learn more about Toymaking Magic here www.artofhomeschooling.com/toymakingmagic Send Jean a text message.Support the showThanks for listening!

Messages from the Universe with Laurie Wondra

The human mind is a remarkable construct—capable of vivid memory, boundless imagination, and deep emotional resonance. Our ability to dream, to envision better realities, and to aspire has propelled civilizations forward. Yet, when dreams of the past become mental anchors instead of wings, they can trap us in nostalgia, disillusionment, and denial.  Dreams are the seeds of manifestation—energetic blueprints born from the heart and spirit, guiding us toward experiences that reflect our deepest desires and soul contracts. However, when we live in yesterday's dreams—visions that may have been based on outdated beliefs, former versions of self, or unaligned timelines—we become energetically stuck. This stasis dims our vibrational frequency and prevents us from aligning with the higher timeline of our present and future potential.“Living in yesterday's dreams blinds us to today's realities and the possibilities of tomorrow's hopes” is not only a psychological or philosophical truth but also a spiritual and energetic one. Listen as Laurie helps us explore how clinging to past dreams affects our energetic alignment and disconnects us from the ability to manifest and co-create a more aligned future. Send us a textSupport the showThanks for listening - For questions or comments email Laurie at Laurie@yourlifecore.comInstagram @yourlifecore or Twitter @yourlifecore Facebook https://www.facebook.com/YourLifecoreWebsite www.yourlifecore.com
